“Stopped by for lunch while waiting for my vehicle to get done. Food and drink prices came in a little higher than I imagined a d size of food was off from what I expected. Taste was good but my drink came came over flooded and spilled as soon as I moved it.“

She was like “Oh I’m so sorry!” Not her fault at all, like I said, I was too into the tv. “Such a cute place. It is very popular so make sure you get there early or ready to wait but either way it's worth the wait. We had a great time and loved the waitress, she made the experience very fun and very helpful in our food choices. “What an awesome, cozy, little restaurant in Rescue, VA. The staff were inviting as we walked in and our server was knowledgeable of the menu. This was our first time here and we brought our twin God Daughters with us. The food was amazing! We had the crab dip which unlike most places, had more than enough dip to go with the pita slices. The calamari was also delicious. Both apps were well seasoned. I had the Admirals Feast for my main and she had the Captains. The coleslaw could have used more dressing but that's my only gripe with the meal. The twins had the Key Lime pie and Brownie Sundae for dessert. The whole experience was just great and well worth the 20 minute drive. Will be returning here again in the future! This place is a hidden gem.“

“Great beer, great burgers, great people all in all. I got the bourbon and brew burger with tater tots and it was arguably one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had. Also really like the idea for you to serve yourself however much beer you’d like and pay by the ounce. They’ve also got some board games at the front so you can hang out and relax with some friends. Definitely will be back soon“

“Not typically a chain restaurant kinda guy, but this place is one of my few exceptions. This is my second visit, but I was too busy stuffing my face the first visit to write a review. Top notch bbq that is better than most mom and pop shops. Super moist meats and delicious sauces to pair! The Smokey Mountain is my favorite with the Alabama White coming in at a close second. Worst part about this place is making a decision on what meat to choose. Super friendly staff at this location as well!“

“I live about 40 minutes away in Chesapeake, but wanted to make the drive to see what the rave is all about. Farmer’s Table did not disappoint! This place is AMAZING! The burgers are hands down the best, service and cleanliness is top tier, all around wonderful establishment from exterior to the interior. Katelyn does an amazing job running the place and her employees Gabby and Quin did an awesome job on my family’s meals. Would absolutely make the drive and go again VERY soon!“

“Working with Jason at Alpha Pitt was such a pleasure! The entire experience, from the responsiveness via email, to the tasting, to the actual wedding day, was top tier. I can't say how pleased and impressed I was with the service, food, and cleanliness on the daya of the wedding. We had our wedding in our backyard and we would have never known catering had been there after the fact! During the reception, they checked on my groom and I multiple times and were always so courteous. Afterwards I heard nothing but glowing reviews for service from the guests.The food was phenomenal! Our wedding took place an hour+ from their home base and the food was still hot and fresh when they arrived. I can't recommend the veggies, mashed potatoes, and herb crusted pork with mushroom sauce enough! We had a signature cocktail (Kentucky mule) and they used their homemade simple syrup. Would recommend giving that a try because it was so tasty.We had quite a bit of leftovers as well which made the value for the money so incredibly good. I cannot recommend alpha pitt smokers enough! If I have any catering needs in the future I will surely turn to them first!“

The salads are huge, so plan on 2 meals from it.Parking: The parking lot is shared with other businesses, so if you have difficulty walking you might want to get dropped at the door or plan on plenty of time to go in.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair parking and you can get in. The bathroom that I used was very large, so would accommodate a wheelchair.“

Coffee was good and grabbed a seat at the community table (which meant no wait). Menu is extensive and covers typical American fare for breakfast and lunch. Got the breakfast tacos and swapped thr beans for potatoes. While it all tasted great the potatoes were on the salty side. For the tacos and just adding jalapeños doesn't denote flavor or mean is "southwest". Still great spot and would come back.“

My husband said his Bloody Mary was strong too but I didn’t think so, not as strong as my drink anyway. I didn’t finish it.For food, my husband ordered the country fried steak, and I got the shrimp n grits. Both were very good! I’m not sure what sauce they put on the shrimp n grits but it wasn’t super spicy, the grits were kinda chunky, the shrimp was BIG. It was very good. And my husband said the gravy on his country fried steak was AMAZING, And wants to go back just to try the biscuits and gravy. I want to try the pizza! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was my drink, but that might be because my alcohol tolerance is super low. And my husband said the only thing he didn’t care for was the potatoes that came with his meal. But overall, we both enjoyed the brunch and would definitely recommend Kismet to anyone looking for a good brunch!“

Staff was really friendly and made me feel so welcome. I didn't get a chance to try the wine selection but i do plan on going back. Also meals we affordable definitely did not break the bank. “Tough call on this one. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry and had time to wait. And wait. And wait. Front end guy was up-front (ha-ha) that he was short on staff and there was a language barrier and experience challenge with the cookstaff that he had to constantly oversee. After 10 minutes of the expected 15 minute wait we were informed one of the ingredients was not available for two of the orders. After changing the order it was close to another 20 minute wait for the food to arrive. I must say the other two 'specialty burger' orders, while pretty expensive, looked amazing. My companions said they tasted that way, as well. I had the combo, which was a single patty cheeseburger with fixings and fries. The fries were the star of that show. Tasty, hot, and plentiful. The burger was better than typical fast food, but a little short on meat for a specialty burger joint. Throughout the long wait the guy running both ends of the operation was friendly and very apologetic of the delays. Overall, not the greatest experience and on the high price end for burgers. On a different day it may have left a more positive impression.“

“Monty's is a neighborhood favorite. I became aware of it a few years ago and keep it in my regular rotation of places to go for good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I started coming to Monty's because of the incredibly ample size of the ice cream cones! As I spent more time, I liked the variety of options in the menu and have always enjoyed my meals. “I had the pleasure of dining at Fins earlier this month on a lunch trip to Newport News, VA. It was my first time in this area, and I was very pleased with the inside and outside atmosphere of the restaurant. The colors, utensils, food, service, etc. were all top notch. Our server, Kameron, was attentive and brought out delicious flavors for us to try. As a long-time vegetarian, I broke my diet for this restaurant and do NOT regret it. I highly recommend the firecracker shrimp starter and their seafood pasta. The kitchen offered to make the dishes vegetarian for me, which was very nice given it is an upscale seafood restaurant. I suggest everyone tries Fins! Five stars.“

Justin was running the show from resetting the TV's with all the streaming services, sports games, busing tables. pouring drinks, taking orders, delivering drinks, food, utensils, and checking back with us and other customers in a timely manner. It was our first time eating in, as we usually pick up our orders and go home. It is a breath of fresh air to have the wonderful customer service that Justin provided. Not only did she get our complicated order in, she also helped us save some money by making it a combo.When the hashbrown bowl, hashbrowns, and waffles came out, they were so delicious! The hashbrowns and bacon & cheese hashbrown were cooked to perfection. Maybe we were very hungry, but those potatoes and cheese and everything else just created such a perfect breakfast melody at 2 in the afternoon that they were gone in about a minute. Now the waffles. The waffles at Waffle House #2370 were amazing. I don't know if they have superior waffle batter to other Waffle Houses or what. Maybe it is because of the cook's experience, but wow. Those waffles at Waffle House #2370 were so delicious! They captured the whipped buttery spread perfectly and held it with the syrup. They were perfectly crispy and fluffy at the same time. What a great place to eat waffles!I'm proud to say that the most southern Waffle House on the Virginia Peninsula, Waffle House #2370, is a great Waffle House and worthy of such distinction. “Overall this hotel was really nice, clean and wonderful staff. I would recommend this hotel. The only problem was, the toilet was loud when flushing. It was a 20-30 minute drive to Virginia Beach. She gave great suggestions and we were able to feed out 120 guests without breaking the budget and EVERYONE enjoyed the food and are asking where we catered from. It was interesting learning about how these wines are made since they are different from your typical winery. Everything was so good that it was hard to pick just a few to purchase at the end. Don’t be hesitant to try them if you are a dry wine fan - I usually drink dry wines because I find most sweet wines too syrupy sweet, but these were delightfully fruit forward and sweet from the infused fruits. You can’t find something like this in the grocery store. I’ll definitely be back to purchase more!“
