“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“Love their fruit teas, been coming here a lot. Unfortunately their egg pancakes are so different now for this location . I feel like they changed the recipe or someone is making them wrong…because my recent times they come out so pale and patchy. Not golden brown and crispy anymore. I’ll still be coming for the drinks though.“

“My 4-month-old and I absolutely love this place. The ambiance, environment, and design are wonderfully spacious and kid-friendly. The top-notch food and drinks, especially the fresh sugar cane juice, are my personal favorites. My little one would probably agree if he could express it (maybe in a year). Overall, I'd rate this place 9.5/10. The only thing missing is an entertainment center or a selfie/promo spot for young adults, but they more than make up for it with their incredible drink.“

“First of all, I'm a boba LOVER! I know when the tea is good, and when I say Gong Cha is incredible, I MEAN it! The place is so pretty and has lots of cute decorations. It has a wide menu with lots of options. You can order on a little screen if you don't want to order directly, and you can choose how much sweetness, how large the cup is, sometimes the ice, and what toppings. The workers are very polite, and your order is quick. There's also some arcade machines and lots of sitting options, like chairs, tables, and a sofa. Love the place, I always crave it!“

“I love trying out places with unique drinks and Ben Gong's Tea in Annandale is a location with many unique drinks. Of course, they have your traditional boba tea and various fruits teas but I love their fermented rice milk tea series. I appreciate how a lot of their drinks come with crystal jellies already too. Also highly recommend their strawberry yukult if you love fruity and sweet drinks!

Their drinks are not very sweet to begin with so if you prefer sweeter drinks I recommend going with 70%+ sugar. Around 50% and less it isn't really sweet anymore!“

“Wish Tea is on the first floor of Tyson Center. The store has a nice and large environment, but it's not very obvious and easy to miss. The taste is okay! It's not the kind of flavor that makes people feel amazing, and I won't go out to repurchase it, but it is a smooth cup of milk tea. If I happen to be thirsty, I will buy a cup to quench my thirst. This is the first time I have seen a super large cup capacity, which is very good. The grass jelly is quite delicious, I recommend adding some.“

“A great bubble milk tea spot that gives trendy, neighborhood bar vibes, complete with high top tables and a crowded bar. Well staffed with a patient and efficient crew - employees make time to chat with customers and friends while keeping the order queues moving.

We've visited twice and found the menu easy to understand, ordering was quick, and drinks were spot on. Waited 5 minutes for order of 2 specialty teas one night (~5 other patrons in restaurant) and 20 minutes for 1 "regular" milk tea (30-40 people at tables and milling about, inside and out).

The tea combos were great, but the boba itself is probably what will keep us coming back. Sweet and flavorful, with just a great texture - a hard to describe consistency of fresh squishy marshmallows, in an orb form.

Great alternative to the cliche bars or coffee shops for teens and twenty-somethings to chat with friends; however, older adults (i.e. me) will not feel alienated. Not a quiet place, so I do not recommend it as a place to study.“

“BoBaPoP Tea Bar is a cute, cozy and intimate tea shop that has a ton of tea options and a decent amount of smoothie options. The smoothie and tea options are all reasonably priced and very appealing, flavor wise.

The service here was also good. I was greeted immediately and given options of their most popular/tasty drinks as I definitely came here very indecisive.

I opted for the caramel milk tea with 50% sugar, which wasn’t overly sweet, yet still fairly tasty.

As it pertains to parking, there are an abundant amount of options in this shopping center.“

“100% recommended. Came here one hour before they closed because my friend wanted to try the Blended Milo, since no place seems to have the exact one in Vietnam. I got myself the egg cream milk tea. It turned out that they both tasted EXACTLY the same as the type of boba we had in Vietnam. We’ve been coming back every single week ever since then. “This Kokee Tea stand is ok, but I prefer going to the Main Street location. The Fair Oaks make the bubble tea before you order so you can’t really change your mind, which I think is a little ridiculous because it should be as soon as you pay, and they have rules about touching the counter. The cashier was also judgmental about me getting a lychee tea with boba, and I had to give in and say I wanted both boba and lychee topping. The teas here are great, but the ones at the Kokee Tea - Main Street location are even better. I’m also a rewards member and unable to redeem my points when I go to this Kokee Tea.“

I would venture to say that the staff at this location are friendlier than most of the locations I've been to in recent years, if that's possible. Good service, excellent brew and reusable cups. Even with competing options at Eden, this place is still a winner.“

“I recently visited Tzone Dessert Bar in Sterling, VA, and while my experience had its highs and lows, it was overall decent. The fruity tea I got was "I Love Tzone". Overall the drink itself was good. I loved the flavor and the freshness of the fruit. Personally I didn't like the boba that they had. It had no flavor overall. Plus the croissant was quite disappointing; it seems over stale and more or less store bought, On the bright side, the service was excellent—prompt and friendly, which really enhanced the visit. I’d be willing to give Tzone another try, hoping for a better dessert next time.“

“Favorite bubble tea place in the area. And I’ve been to almost all of them because I’m a bubble tea addict. I usually get the qq happy family, which has all my favorite toppings. Sometimes the wait is long, but that’s because a lot of other people like it, too!“
