“High quality dining experience with great food and fantastic service! A very popular spot in VB town center, perfect for small groups. Came on Monday evening and it was full, we had to wait for a table, but could sit at the bar while we waited. Highly recommend Chang's Lettuce wraps appetizer, came with so much extra filling. The entree portions were large, we all had enough leftovers to make another meal. Our server was very kind and even boxed all of our leftovers for us. All in all, for the service, portions and quality of food, and ambience of the restaurant, it's well worth it.”

“We frequent Embassy Suites in Virginia Beach often since they opened, and we always make several visits to Article’s Bar and Grill. The only reason this post isn’t a 1star review is because of Christian and Tripp both went above and beyond with their customer service. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They are a true asset behind the bar and know how to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did have a very awkward and unpleasant encounter with another bartender (Lori) on two separate visits. We weren’t the only ones who noticed, her attitude came across as rude and unhappy to be there, which made customers uncomfortable. The first time, we let it go because everyone can have an off day. But the second time, her energy was even worse. I did bring it up to a manager on site, and I truly hope it gets addressed because that type of experience can easily drive customers away. Aside from that, the wings were delicious, and the drinks that Christian and Tripp prepared were great. Until next time—we’re hoping for a better experience overall.”

“My girlfriend and I went out for some fine dining last night at Terrapin, and it did not disappoint!! Our server Allie was a consummate professional, and the GM/sommelier was very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a well-known fact that fine dining is not cheap, but not only were the prices not all that bad here, but the food quality was exceptional. They also have a special on Tuesdays: 50% off for service industry workers. I found that awesome, remembering where they started from, and making it available to those individuals. We are planning on making this a monthly thing for us. Shrimp tagliatelle for me, black squid ink linguine for her. Our entrees were chicken piccata for me, and she indulged in the roasted duck. For dessert, she selected a seasonal dessert special called It’s The Great Pumpkin, whereas I kept it simple with an affogato w/ French vanilla bean ice cream. 10/10 - would definitely recommend!!”

“Aldo’s is my absolute favorite restaurant! I am a very picky eater. My husband, (boyfriend at the time) , took me to Aldo’s on one of our first dates in 1990. If he was trying to impress me..it worked! Jim, the owner, has been there since the beginning and he is amazing! He has treated us like gold for 34 years now! He has sent wine and dessert over on our anniversary, compliments of the restaurant! He always asks us how everything was and of course, it’s always perfect! I have never had an issue. The atmosphere is incredible, very romantic and relaxing. There is live piano and the wait staff are top notch. Jim only hires the best! They have authentic Italian food that has so much flavor and there is nothing like it! I highly recommend Aldo’s for fine dining and just an overall fabulous experience!”

I was greeted by Alex, the senior associate the moment I walked in. He was working the drive through, the front counter, and directing his associates without missing a beat. Accurate orders with young but very disciplined crew. Nothing but smiles and joy showing in their actions and interactions.

I usually go out of my way to go to this location. No other BK in the area can do better.

I like my burgers a certain way and this crew delivers.

So I go to the window to pay and they see Aurora and take my card. I asked if the pup cup was on there and she said they had something different. So now me and Aurora go to pick up our food. So I grabbed the bag with the quarter pounder and fries and she gives me another bag. So I look and see chocolate chip cookies. I went to turn back and tell her that she wouldn't be able to eat them and in her hand she had a cup of whip cream just for Aurora! I feel bad for not having much time to thank them and when I looked back at the recipe it only had the fries and burger. I found it really sweet that they gave us free cookies and a pup cup. Aurora really enjoyed her pup cup and we look forward to coming back soon!”

She’d been before, last summer, and had been talking for almost that long about the Greek Burger. We made a trip over for dinner on Monday night—and went back for lunch on Tuesday. Everything was good—from the atmosphere and very professional wait staff, to the hummus, stuffed grape leaves (some of the best I’ve ever had) served with real tzatziki, the burgers, the bread, the tabouli salad, the lamb, the beef shwarma wrap…absolutely 4 star experiences! Will definitely see you next summer—several times.”

There for a small family gathering, they quickly seated our reserved table for seven. A variety of stock margaritas were all tasty accompanied by table side guacamole and crisp chips and salsa. Followed by a variety of dishes from chili rellenos to enchiladas that were all consistently tasty. So if you are searching for some east coast Mexican food, look no farther.”

While my recent visit was pleasant, I observed that their pandesal tasted slightly different. The signature flavor that I have loved for years seemed to be missing. “Mermaids in Virginia Beach is a lot of fun!! Went in there the other night with some friends and the girls were so friendly, they made us feel right at home. They were amazing to watch! I was told they are getting ready for the Pole and Floor show competition on Saturday, May 18th. I think that's worth going to just from what I saw. The specials were fantastic and the menu was great for either a late night snack or a quick lunch. The music was good, kept everyone upbeat and the security was visible, but not over imposing, and that made everyone comfortable. Can't wait to go back and drag a few more friends out! Of course I would feel comfortable walking in there alone for a drink and a snack :)”

“This is without a doubt one of the best family Mexican restaurants in Virginia. I'm from the West Coast and lived on the best Mexican food available where the ladies made corn tortillas by hand in front of you. While no Mexican restaurant does that here on the East Coast, you won't believe how good the food is at the Shore Drive, Tequila Jalisco. (Don't waste your time going to the other Tequila Jalisco's as it all depends on the chief.) The best chilies relleno I've ever eaten and each one of their steak dishes are unbelievably tasty, or go for the fajitas or one of their big fat burritos and be sure to treat yourself to their home made guacamole with chunks of avocado, all with a well made margarita. It took me a long time to find a decent Mexican restaurant here in Virginia Beach, but I've now found a home with friendly servers and a warm atmosphere. Life can be so good...”

“We made reservations(easily) for a 6:30 Anniversary dinner specifically on a Thursday night to take advantage of the "SPECIAL", 2 16oz king cut prime ribs W/roasted asparagus and potatoes au gratin casserole, a bottle of wine(our choices were shiraz or rose), and a dessert(our choices were KEY LIME PIE, CARROT CAKE, LEMON BLUEBERRY TIRAMISU, BROWNIE SUNDAY, or RED VELVET CAKE)........all for $70! The service from Janine and Jeff was fast, friendly and knowledgeable and the food!*+ perfection from "Goose" in the kitchen. After dinner, my wife and I spoke with GM Korey Johnson and got a tour of the facilities where we were further impressed with the cigar lounge and the VIP room. Needless to say, we'll be back again and again and I suggest the same for all of YOU that rely on the customer reviews as we do!! TY”

We ordered three of Wagyu dishes, two specialty sushi rolls, filet mignon (which was savory & tender!), edamame and topped it off with the Krispy Kreme bread pudding with vanilla ice cream on top. A wine for the husband and mocktail for me. Dustin was our server and he is very attentive, we appreciated his honest recommendations. We will definitely be returning again.”

Instead, I went for the menu and was treated to a wonderful full rack of lamb, asparagus she-crab soup, and pumpkin cheesecake. “My family and I were on vacation looking for some pizza. Came across this place and so glad we did. The food and service were fantastic. Got to love a restaurant when a general manager comes by checking on your table. She even gave my 4 years her own pink apron to wear why eating pizza. My daughter’s pizza was huge and cook just right for a kid, not over done and a little chewy. Our pizza was out of this world. The pepperoni and sausage were so tasty. The wood fire oven gives the pizza this awesome crust. You can’t go wrong trying anything at this place. Soooo good.”

Our server Larry was the best! He made sure my drinks were just the way I wanted… And they don’t short you alcohol- just saying! Lol, my husband has a higher tolerance than I and mentioned it. My husband got the whole fried red snapper while I created my own little sampler out of entrees. They were the oxtail empanadas, crab cake sliders and salmon bites. It was all scrumptious! “It's always a great experience at Inu Inu. As mentioned before the place is the most authentic tasting we've eaten. In Japan you don't call a server verbally. They used a remote akin to a doorbell. You need anything press the call button and within seconds they're there. The food was excellent as always and I can't rave enough about them. Thank you so much.”
