“Normally Chipotles are 5 stars. This one gets my business because of it being so close. The food is very over cooked. The meats is dry. The service is slow. You do get the chipotle taste and they are not stingy with the portions. That is the saving grace of this chipotle.“

“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“I was so lucky to be able to try this truck a few times when the first started a couple of years ago and loved it then. I brought some international colleagues to this truck, making big promises, and Tacos Mi Rancho is still my favorite truck after all these years. With the 3 year gap of having it, it was still the best taco truck in my opinion. Food came out fast even though they had a long line of customers and the quesobirria was perfect as always. “This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. “El Paso is a great spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food in Alexandria. I ordered the surf and turf tacos, and they were absolutely fantastic—loaded with perfectly seasoned steak and shrimp, plenty of flavor, and served on crispy tortillas. I’d order them again without hesitation.

The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh, the rice and beans were solid, and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a fun, colorful atmosphere that’s comfortable whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner.

“Ordered carry out so can only comment on the food. But the birria quesadilla was a 10/10. U can tell that the chef thought about the experience of eating it. Throughout the quesadilla there were spots of avocado where it was a fresh bite to cut through the richness of the meat. The peppers on the side were so yummy and provided an acid hit while eating the quesadilla. Haven’t had a 10/10 meal in a while!“

“Good tacos. Very popular bar area happy hour. The carnitas was by far the best amount of meat and taste/experience. I’m not sure why there was so much more meat on that vs the pastor as an example. Pineapple offset?

The ordering is pretty straight forward but may take a little while with the kiosk. The benefit of having one visible sign menu at places like this is sorely missed.
