“This place really deserves the high rating! It's a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The cafe is charming, very clean, and as cheerful as the name suggests! We had a veggie breakfast burrito and a veggie omelet, both of which were delicious and full of fresh ingredients. The coffee was really good too. There are lots of options on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The lady who runs the place (owner?) is so nice and welcoming, too. We'll definitely be back!“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

“We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and our server was CJ. The bottomless mimosas were served in coup glasses and were plentiful (limit of 5 per person 👍🏻). I had the Huevos Rancheros which were served with breakfast potatoes and the order was big enough to share. The service was quick and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend Drapers for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere and food quality are great; plus the customizable “create your own” options.Only caveat/downside is that the cost can add up really quickly with the DIY options. (My $8 Red Curry Noodles went up to $18 when I swapped tofu for Chicken and added shrimp).It still tasted really good, though. Next time I want to try one of their salads (they’re huge!!!). I would eat here over Noodles & Co.“

“The Chopt in Ballston is a gem! It’s just a block from my office, so it’s become my go-to spot for a healthy lunch. Everything is crisp, colorful, and flavorful! The dressings are delicious (Mexican Goddess is my favorite!) and portions are generous without being heavy.
The staff here are always friendly and efficient, even during the lunch rush. I usually try to sneak over a bit early before noon to beat the crowd, and it’s always a smooth experience.
If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, wholesome meal that actually tastes great, I highly recommend the Chopt Ballston location!“

As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. I was indecisive (as usual), and she didn’t just take my order; she asked what I was craving, suggested swapping the usual Chopt vinaigrette for the Mexican Goddess! OMG it was delicious! The salad was incredible, but Ariel’s warmth and genuine care made it unforgettable. Five stars for the food, six for Ariel!“

David was friendly without hovering, funny without trying too hard, and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed something (I suspect magic). Drinks stayed full, food arrived hot, and he made the whole experience feel easy and fun like dining with a very professional, very efficient friend.

Their menu has a lot of options for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or vegan. I particularly love their Kitfo and Veggie combo dish. I recently used their catering services for a private party for 100 people. I opted for the package that includes food, servers and bartenders. The food was delicious, my guests loved it and the servers were exceptional! The servers took care of my guests and provided the best service I have not seen elsewhere.
