“Been going here for decades when visiting VT. Lisa runs a tight ship to serve her customers well and interacts sincerely with customers. Variety of menu options and the resultant food are wonderful and we enjoyed each meal we had there on our recent trip; as we always do. We value the food quality, service and willingness to be open over labor day weekend each day! Thank you Lisa and team !“

“The whole family enjoyed an excellent meal tonight start to finish. Service was friendly and quick. The setting was beautiful. Salads were fresh and flavorful. Had the kalette appetizer which the whole table enjoyed. Entrees were fantastic! I had the rib eye. One son had the steak au poivre; another had haddock with heirloom tomatoes, and my husband had the pork chops. We all agreed it was a perfect meal. We ended the meal with wonderful desserts - maple creme brulee, marscapone cheesecake, banana bread pudding, and ice cream with a praline topping. Just the right size and sweetness to finish this wonderful meal. We hope to be back soon.“

“I lived just up the road from 3 Squares for a few years. I went in for iced coffee nearly every day. No matter how busy it was, I was always greeted with a smile and felt like I was part of the 3 Squares family! “I cannot thank Paris and the team enough for all the help with a surprise birthday party. There was 20 of us and they made it look easy. The food came out tasting perfect and within great timing. Our server was very attentive and kind. They helped set up decorations before we arrived. I’m so grateful it went as smoothly as it did. Thank you so much!“

“I'm basing my stars on Ice Cream only. They have amazing maple soft serve using real maple syrup & if maple isn't your thing, their other soft serve flavors are just as amazingly creamy. And on top of good ice cream it's also cheap. That's called a win win folks.“

“Update: chatted with Danielle (owner) and they must have been having an off day when I went the first time. I returned with a smaller group and the flatbreads had plenty of toppings and service was very good!

Old review: Not a great spot for groups or value. Our waitress was really annoyed we were ordering small flatbreads. If you have an issue with it then just don’t take large reservations? Pretty much forced me and another guy in my group to share 1 large rather than make 2 smalls, which ended up being an awkward dance because even though the food tasted great, like a 3rd of the flatbread didn’t have any toppings so we just shared a lot of bread. Finally, they don’t split the tab more than 3 ways, which is wild in 2026.“

“Food is a little boring. Offerings and preparation are just too plain, simple. Since food is the most important thing to me for eating out, the overall rating was therefore effected. The service, people could not be better. On the other hand, this is a place for people whose prime reason to be there is to have a bite after playing a round or two of golf. And, in that way, the menu certainly serves the purpose. I would like to see it move into a primary restaurant attraction....s.“

“I've been going to Middlebury bagel and deli for decades now. I've never had a bad meal, and as someone allergic to corn, I really appreciate that the bagels are all made traditionally without corn meal. I honestly think these bagels and donuts are the best in VT. They are certainly the best I've ever had in New England.“

“I've been the yacht club a few dozen times over the years and there is simply no better place on the west side of Lake Champlain. The setting alone is world class, set out into one of the largest lakes in north america, looking out at the green mountains. The food and drinks are consistently wonderful.
