Tucked away in a sunlit corner, this café felt like a quiet haven—perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful coffee moment or get some work done in a calm environment. The service stood out immediately: the baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick without ever seeming rushed.

I ordered a hand-crafted London Fog and an espresso, both of which were excellent. The espresso was rich, fresh, and served in a proper-sized cup—no oversized, watered-down versions here. I also tried a locally made pastry that paired beautifully with my drink. While some might find the pricing a touch higher than other spots on North Street, I felt the quality and experience justified it.

The atmosphere was very quiet—almost library-like—which might not be for everyone. But if you're into slow mornings, quiet productivity, or just a break from the hustle, this place is a gem. There’s also plenty of free street parking, which made the visit even more convenient.

“I arrived at Keurig Dr pepper/ Green mountain 2 hours early on a Saturday. They got me a dock and said they hadn't finished pulling my order. My appointment was 13:00 so I said that was fine. They have a drivers waiting area with free Green mountain coffee. There's a restroom and couple chairs. They got me loaded and I was on the road before 14:00. Easy in and out of there yard. Plenty of room to back up to there dock's“

I was shocked and disappointed to see that a Starbucks is being set up right across from this in the center of Main Street Stowe. one of the great things about Stowe is all the local businesses. “Located next to the UVM Bookstore, Henderson’s Cafe is a cozy spot to get some work done! I got an iced matcha latte, and I love how they use real matcha, not a pre-sweetened powder mix. There’s also some pastry/grab and go food items as well. There’s also an amazing mango black iced tea that is only $2.55 for a 16oz. The baristas are also so friendly and sweet. Call me a repeat customer :)“

I learned my new favorite drink from a recommendation in the drive thru window Pro tip: Customize your drink to bring your personal cup and every 8th drink is free (approximately). Is it worth it? “We have been to many of the regular Burlington breakfast spots up Pine, down Church and back on Shelburne. I just had the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had outside of my kitchen. It may seem simple, but getting it just right with a freshly fried
super tasty egg (yes, a good fresh egg has a taste), crispy bacon, real cheese, and for my choice, a fresh bagel all just right is joy. The friendliness and industrious staff too it off. This is a special place.“

“After a long touristy day of activities, we made a stop at this location to get a cup of parfait to give ourself a sugar dose. We put in an order for vanilla, strawberry and sprinkles. The associate got on with our order right away and made it within a minute. Super quick and impressive service. Price was decent too.

To my surprise, the parfait had such a great taste. The vanilla flavor was really good. Sprinkles were soft and crunchy. The strawberry was a good mix with the vanilla cream. The cup had so much of parfait, three of us were able to share the whole cup.“

“I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“
