“We made reservations for our large group ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making recommendations from the menu. The food was all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal. About half of our group hadn’t had Indian food before but they all left as fans! The waiter was able to easily guide the vegan in our group to a variety options for him. We all enjoyed tea and a sweet at the end. We are so glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be back!“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Aroma’s in Vermont! The food was exceptionally good—honestly the best we’ve had at any Indian restaurant in the US, and we’ve tried many across the country. Everything was so flavorful, fresh, and prepared with care.

The hospitality made our visit even more special. The owner was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we and our 2-year-old son were comfortable. We regret not asking his name, but his kindness truly stood out. Ms. Sarita also came by personally to ensure we were enjoying everything, which added such a warm, personal touch.

“My Fiancé and I had our first experience at Hen of the Wood in Burlington, what an incredible time we had! We just got engaged and had to celebrate. I decided to get the pork loin, and it was delicious! My fiancé loved his steak. It was perfection. Our waitress was amazing and so thoughtful. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful. the atmosphere was casual yet somewhat formal and we had a blast! Can't forget about how scrumptious those rolls were too! “Honey Road serves inventive Mediterranean-Israeli style shareable plates. Menu was very vegetarian forward with a small number of meat dishes. We loved the muhamarra, fresh pita, heirloom tomato salad, and our absolute favorite was the Kale salad- which I am still dreaming about. 4 dishes were enough for 2 people.

“What a gem! Portions are generous- definitely come hungry. The prices are very fair considering the quality of the food. While the selection of California wines is a bit limited, the Italian wine list more than makes up for it with some great finds.

“I visited this place recently and overall had a good experience. The location is nice, with a beautiful outdoor view that really adds to the atmosphere. Parking is limited though, with only a small space available, including a small bike parking/locking area.

The burger was juicy and very good in taste, but it seemed like it was prepared a bit in a rush. The ingredients were falling out between the buns, giving it a slightly unfinished look. With a little more attention to presentation, it could have been excellent.

The best part, however, is the ice cream – it’s high quality and makes for a perfect treat after the meal.

Overall, the place has potential, and with the good food, ice cream, and great view, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“I love this place so much. I have been a patriot since it was at its small shop. What I love about it is that the customer service is always wonderfully friendly. it feels like I'm walking into their home to eat their mom's home cooking. I have traveled around and tried pho soup to assess which one is the best. I have gone to Florida Virginia all around the East Coast and hands down their pho soup is the best of the best! I even brought my sister with confidence and she's never tried Vietnamese food before and she had her mind alone. her and her daughter are quite the foodies themselves and they were pleasantly and wonderfully surprised. they said this is the best they ever had!“

And I have to drive over the mountain from Fayston to do so. I love this place--Voula does a fantastic job. I just wish they could some day go back to having their Greek Nights on Thursdays. (They do have occasional Greek entrees but it's just not as predictable as it was before the pandemic. Then again, nothing is...) Highly recommended!“
