“I was craaaaving congee with liver (lived in China for years and missing that taste of my second home!) and this was an absolutely wonderful meal. My sisters and I devoured our dishes and shared veggies. Such a familiar dish and so flavorful.“

“Nice old school restaurant with big portions and good flavor. The bbq and roast pork dang good with roast pork fat melting in your mouth.
Probably the cleanest restaurant I been to in Chinatown. Owner will work out spots diligently to keep the tables clean I can see his pride and honor in it.“

“Best wonton noodle soup place in the area. Family owned and managed.
Every time I am here, they are always packed. It will take them a while to get your orders in, to pay, to get their attention in general. Last time, I had to pick up my own soup spoon from the front cashier because there was literally none prepared on the table. I’d recommend going to the cashier directly to pay.
They also offer frozen wonton for you to cook yourself at home.
Overall, I highly recommend the food. Just give them a bit of grace when they’re busy :)“

“I dare say that this is the best Cantonese restaurant in Seattle. Very hole in the wall style, family owned and there are only Chinese people dining in. The litmus test is bao zai fan and it was delicious! Everything on the menu is straight from Guangdong, as well as some American-geared takeout options. Only con is that it’s so far south but it makes the trips here worth it.
My mom found it on xhs and I’m glad she showed me!“

“Decent delicious food. Chicken wings were great. Got Salt and pepper squid and chowfun noodles.Good quality and quantity. They even gave us complimentary BBQ pork buns and a Dessert. Probably the best spot in the city to go late for late night craving. Also check out the cute fishes in the aquarium at the entrance.“

“I love the kidney and liver!!! It’s too good and was cooked perfectly. I also had the house-made fish balls but didn’t know it was $12 😭 kinda pricey but everything else are reasonably pricey
3/3/26 came back to eat the steamed kidney and liver because it’s too good. Btw it’s cash only“

“I ordered takeout from here and all of the food was so delicious. I ordered the three shredded fried noodles, general tso’s chicken, dry fried green beans, cucumber salad with woodear mushroom. I was so happy to taste the spice! It’s a numbing almost sichuan style spice in the green beans, cucumber salad, and general tso’s chicken! Will definitely be coming back again :)“

“Very tasty dim sum options! Their sesame balls are some of the best I've had. This place has been around as long as I can remember, though we only came here recently after our favorite place across the street closed down. The staff is quite friendly and fast, and - while it's an older building - it is clean. The only challenge is their prices aren't always posted, so our bill was slightly higher than anticipated. Still, we would definitely return! Positive experience.“

“From the moment the dishes arrived, it was clear that this establishment adheres to a truly traditional and artisanal approach. Unlike many places that rely on frozen or mass-produced options, the dim sum here is undeniably made in-house and by hand.
• Evidence of Skill: The precision and consistency of the pleats on the dumplings (如:虾饺的褶皱), the delicate shaping of the buns (如:包子的造型), and the fresh, vibrant fillings spoke volumes. This attention to detail immediately elevates the dining experience above the typical.
• The Texture Difference: The wrappers (皮) were a standout—thin, resilient, and perfectly translucent, holding their shape without being sticky or breaking. This level of craftsmanship is the foundation of great dim sum.“

“Great atmosphere and super friendly service! The food tastes authentic and flavorful, just like Hong Kong. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Loved their roast dishes and dim sum, definitely coming back again. Highly recommended!“

“Great value for the price and very generous portions. We came a bit late and many dishes were already sold out, so I’d recommend going earlier. No dine-in, takeout only. Although the place looks a bit worn down, the food was delicious and very authentic.“

“Actually great chinese bbq. I didn’t expect much given the reviewss, but it was really good.
I went through the reviews to figure out why it has a low rating and found that 95% of the bad reviews were for non bbq items (which I’m not sure if they even sell anymore). The bbq is really good.“

“So this is pretty much my favourite ramen in the U.S. This is the first restaurant I ate at in Seattle in over ten years ago and it has never disappointed me. The broth is rich but also simple. The textures are just right. I’m a huge fan overall.“

“Chinese new year gathering with Church friends. We arrived at 11 AM. It already started to be busy. When we leave at 12:30 there is a long queue outside. Food is authentic Cantonese dim sum. I like the reddish cake. The most eating area is big can hold big gathering banquet.“

“We are always surprised how underrated this place is. It's our go to spot after visiting the zoo. Dim Sum/ Cantonese-styled dishes: we love it! the price is also very reasonable. The decor & atmosphere is a little dated.. but with the food & the price: I'll still 100% down on this place!“

“Best place for family style dinner. The variety of food is amazing!! The seating capacity is quite good. A/V quality needs to be improved but manageable. Their menu is quite big and the location is picture perfect- right on the Lake Union with tons of free parking.“

“We had the ginger chicken and house fried rice. This place is one of the only Chinese restaurant left in Beacon Hill. This says a lot considering this use to be a Chinese neighborhood. The food is classic Chinese American. We will definitely be going back to contributing to their preservation. The first time we had it was at a catered event. I’m glad we went back. It’s an old school classic. Supporting or neighbors will be a joy. Can’t wait to try the chow mein.“

“Got lunch here on a Saturday. There was plenty of seating. We were welcomed in by friendly people working at the counter. Once we ordered, the food came pretty quickly but it was obviously made fresh. The rice roll was perfect, the fried dumplings were delicious. Would love to go back. Also, got some sesame balls (not pictured) and an egg tart for dessert - the perfect end to the meal.“

“The service is absolutely terrible. I would give it a negative 10 if I could. I bought two steamed buns which can perfectly fit into a paper bag. The staff put them in a plastic box without asking me so she can charge me the box fee. I told her I do not need a box and please put them in a paper bag. The staff yelled at me "Don't ever come back again!!!" It is like robbery in plain day light. They force you to purchase the plastic box you do not need. I noticed they used to have plastic plates for dining ins, but now they got rid of all the plastic plates so customers who eat in have no option but to buy their plastic boxes. This is forced sale. How Sneaky! The staff are always yelling at you and extremely rude. They are incapble of speaking normally. Definitely avoid this place.“

“Restaurant side is CLOSED, and has been for over a year. Wholesale tofu is still available, and order pick-up/delivery is still available. Phone number remains the same.
Yelp and other listings are outdated and highly inaccurate. No more restaurant side, until further notice.“

“Hands down the best clay pot rice in Washington, especially the yellow eel one. It's super rare to have clay pot rice in the US, very surprised that they are making such authentic one here. This dish is not hard to make, but very difficult to have such good taste. Balanced flavor, fresh ingredients, perfect crisp for the bottom layer of rice. They also have a lot of other authentic dishes which we will being going back and try them all out. You can clearly tell the skill of the cook from the flavor of just this one dish. We also had some veggie and fish, they are also very good, fresh, balance flavor.“
