“Showed up to Richard's Too Good BBQ yesterday with my husband... We were looking for some good bbq/soul food and we FOUND IT! He got the sausage with ribs, I got the chicken and brisket. Everything from the greens to the Mac and cheese was AMAZING 👏🏻 The meats were moist and perfectly smoked, Mac and cheese was mac'in, the greens tho..... yeah buddy! 🔥 Sausage was perfectly spicy, juicy and wasn't over the top hot. 10/10 LOVE their bbq sauce, completes the whole meal! My husband is from Louisiana and I'm soo happy that he enjoyed the heck out of it! And to boot, Richard was soo welcoming and hospitable. We will definitely be returning!“

“Excellent service from Elizabeth! She was so friendly and attentive! I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Don’t skip out on the banana pudding and a big thank you to management and the cooks who help keep the place running smooth!“

“We have come here for many years. It been awhile since we came back. We like their new menu looks like it been recently updated. We ordered our usual of: -Vietnamese Sweet & Sour Catfish Soup -Catfish in Clay Pot/Stew -Rice Today we also tried: -Crispy Oysters -Salted Fish Fried Rice -Three Color Dessert -Thai Dessert It wasn't too busy today, we got a table right away for a family of our. The servers were nice and friendly. Our desserts were bought out first, and soon after the main dishes. Our usual dishes is the tasty as usual. Our favorite as a family is the fried oysters. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. We will be back as usual! We highly recommend this place! They got some of the dishes we love that keeps us coming back for more!“

“Took dad for Father’s Day and we got the pitmaster tray. Food was really good poppy seed slaw was a big favorite, unfortunately the only thing that lacked was the brisket. The one thing I always look forward to most at a BBQ place. Everything well seasoned and we all enjoyed but hard to see the “star” brisket be dry, hopefully we just got unlucky with the cuts we recieved. We will be back.“

“Fantastic experience from start to finish! The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. What really stood out was the service—the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
The best part was that they cooked the BBQ for us, which made the experience much more enjoyable and stress-free. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served at just the right pace. You can tell the team takes pride in both the quality of the food and the customer experience.“

“Good place to get Dim Sum dishes.
I've tried the BBQ pork, pork belly, roasted duck, hum bow, shrimp balls, chicken feet, siumai and sesame balls... all dond reasonably well. They also prepare rice and noodle dishes. One can call ahead to order larger group sized orders for parties.
Friendly and helpful staff.“

“The PERFECT fuel for exploring Pike Place! After a quick wait (no more than 5 minutes) in line, my husband and I grabbed a baked chicken bun, bbq pork bun, and green tea sesame ball. Baked goods in hand (and $19 later), we settled to eat our pastries overlooking the water. And WOW what a perfect way to start the day!
I started with the chicken bun, warm and puffed with a “pineapple” topping. There’s no actual pineapple in the bun, but rather the top has a crinkly and sweet shell that is “pineapple” in appearance only. This bun was fresh, yeasty, and sweet on the outside, and it contained a savory chicken & mushroom filling within. The filling has generous pieces of pulled chicken, some sort of mushroom, and a yellowy curry sauce with the same texture as an American chicken pot pie.
I also tried my husband’s pork “ham bow” (another baked bun but no pineapple-like topping). This filling was a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce coating pieces of chopped pork—also delish! We ended with “dessert”: a green tea sesame ball rolled in toasted black and white sesame seeds and filled with a green tea paste. It was sweet with a slightly mochi texture and a subtle matcha-flavored filling. While it was a bit oily, it was still SO delicious, and the perfect complement to our breakfast buns.
For a portable, not-messy, hot n fresh baked breakfast, I would highly recommend Mee Sum! I only wish I had more tummy room to try more of their baked goods!“

“Most of the snacks in the deli area are pretty good, you can try them~ If you want to eat, I recommend curry instead of beef bowl, because the beef bowl is a bit overcooked and there is not much beef flavor~ Miso soup is also good, suitable for a few sips to warm the stomach before starting the barbecue~😋“

“As a local, my mom and I have been coming here for years for the delicious roast pork. But I've been going to a lot of World Cup watch parties and was delighted to learn about their game day special: $6 rice with BBQ pork, an absolutely unbeatable deal for a solid meal under $10. A welcome break from hot dogs and pizza, for those who crave some rice every now and then. Wish more folks coming to world cup watch parties and matches knew about this, since it's so close to the stadium! Highly recommend checking it out! It's just past Hing Hay Park. I've never felt unsafe visiting here as a woman by myself.“

“This is a Hawaiian restaurant in Uwajima-ya, King Street.
I ordered the combo of teriyaki chicken and kalua pig. The amount is very large; not only rice but also chicken and pork.
Teriyaki is much sweeter than Japanese, but tasty. I'd like more vegetable if possible.“

“I had such a fantastic meal here. Everything was served hot and tasted incredibly fresh.
The grilled short ribs were a standout, perfectly charred and topped with plenty of green onions. We also really enjoyed the crispy fried wings and the beautifully plated fried rice topped with a fried egg and fresh basil. It was the perfect spot for a delicious lunch.“

“Way exceeded expectations. I used to own a Korean restaurant, pretty picky. AYCE is the move. Kimchi is not great but doesn’t matter. Everything else is 👏👏👏. Be patient with servers. Every restaurant is understaffed and these kids are hustling their butts off. Tip big.“

“We had the ginger chicken and house fried rice. This place is one of the only Chinese restaurant left in Beacon Hill. This says a lot considering this use to be a Chinese neighborhood. The food is classic Chinese American. We will definitely be going back to contributing to their preservation. The first time we had it was at a catered event. I’m glad we went back. It’s an old school classic. Supporting or neighbors will be a joy. Can’t wait to try the chow mein.“

“Oh my goodness this food is so well seasoned. I could just eat the red beans and rice alone. This is the first time I’ve eaten here since the start of COVID. They have changed the inside from what I remember, it’s smaller. But, the food was great.“

“We went here because a couple people in our party are vegetarian and they said that the other Korean restaurants they were considering were not explicit about their vegetarian offerings. I give Stone credit for being very specific with the menu. On the other hand, I am not vegetarian, so I judged based on my beef bibimbap and the banchan. My bibimbap was ordinary and the portion somewhat small. For $25 I would have expected something meatier. Maybe it's because we were in SLU. I'm used to getting my Korean fix in Shoreline or even further north where the real estate is cheaper. The banchan was uninspired but satisfactory. Service was prompt and the place is clean. I did notice a few droplets of water falling from an overhead pipe while we ate. I should have mentioned it to them as a courtesy. It didn't disrupt the meal“

“Solid roasted pork underbelly for 6pm. It was surprisingly crunchy so late in the day.
It came with a corn-carrot based soup and cabbage stirred fried in a meat juice. I think I paid $15 for two meats. It’s only takeout so I just walked to the park a block away to consume. It is not the best but it’s super enjoyable so…5-star.“

“Im from North Carolina and have strong opinions on barbecue. Was in town for a wedding, tired from traveling, just walked into any old place not expecting much, just a meal. Totally blown away! We came in right as they were about to close and the guy running things was so friendly and gave us extra sides since he was closing out. We got chopped pork sandwiches (hot and medium sauce), Mac n cheese, potato salad, corn, and sweet potato pie. It was all incredible, pork was extremely tender and the sauce was flavorful and not too sweet and gloopy (not a fan of overly-sweet globs of barbecue sauce, personally). Mac n cheese was delicious, great texture on the noodles and really rich and flavorful cheese, REAL CHEESE, not some artificial cheese sauce product, it's the real deal (ifykyk). I personally don't care that much for corn and potato salad, my girlfriend got those sides, but I LOVED both of them even as someone who doesn't go for those sides much myself. The corn was so sweet and buttery! Finally, sweet potato pie was a delicious finish and I still think about it, can taste it right now. We were there over a month ago and I still think about this place so I had to come back and write a review. If I'm ever in Seattle again i will deliberately seek this place out again, we tried to go a second time before our flight out but it was a Monday and they were closed. Definitely try this place out.“
