“Excellent Starbucks destination! I love taking our friends and family here when they visit as part of the signature Seattle experience. Unlike regular locations, they have their own bakery, gorgeous iron ovens, and they serve alcoholic drinks. They will make your drink with an AeroPress, chemex, pour-over, Clover, or a few other options. Their whiskey barrel-aged cold brew is amazing. My gluten-eating friends and family tell me that the bakery items are incredible. Being fresh baked and with high quality ingredients. This is a great place to visit, and a place I go to again and again.“
“This is for the California Ave West Seattle location.
There is plenty of parking in the back and on the street.
The atmosphere here is very chill and the patrons for various ages and demographics contribute to this. Plenty of seating and it's clean, with staff making sure that condiments are stocked, and the common areas tidy.
The service was friendly and welcoming, with the barista mentioning that they'll have free refills on my drip coffee when I mentioned I'm going to hangout for a while. And in a nutshell that is the culture for this store, they want you to relax and spend time here --- something I miss doing at the local Starby's.
If you're in the area, definitely give this storefront a try. And reach of the protein bix, it's a delicious choice if you're looking for a quick bite.
Midas 5-stars for the friendly service, warm atmosphere, and comfortable chairs.“
“My all time favorite Starbucks period. I unfortunately moved away almost last year but me and the kids ALWAYS had great memories when we lived in Seattle. Every morning on the way to school, we always had our regular: my brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso with vanilla, their cake pops. I can’t remember some of the employees names now since it’s been almost a year ☹️but the young man, woman & older woman we called out “Starbucks grandma” always did our order amazingly. As soon as they seen the BMW pull up they knew our order lol. Missing the staff so dearly, I hope life is blessing them as they deserve! ❤️“
“My boyfriend and I visited from abroad and had a great time doing schoolwork here. There was an outlet for us to charge the laptop and the staff was friendly. When they made a mistake with my order they fixed it immediately with no trouble at all.“
“This is my favorite Starbucks 2nd only to the roastery but that's a whole different business! This spot is ALWAYS fast and makes my drink perfectly! I order in the app on my way in from King Street Station and my drink is always waiting for me! This Pineapple Cloud Cake has me on cloud 9! ?“
“I took the recommendation of the barista for a nice relaxing refreshing drink and it was delicious!! I ended up getting the dragon drink and it was everything I asked for! The staff were very friendly and helpful I can’t wait to come back again!“
“My favorite starbucks by far! There’s great staff who are extremely friendly and nice. The drinks are very well made. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with plenty of nice people and regulars in groups! They are very pet friendly and you can meet a large range of very friendly dogs! There is lots seating indoor and out with heated seats outside. The location is perfect and they are always fast to create your order.“
“I went to this Starbucks on Monday and had a pretty good experience overall. The atmosphere in the store is nice—not too noisy—so it's perfect whether you want to sit back and enjoy a coffee slowly or handle some things temporarily. What's great is there are plenty of seats, so you never have to worry about not finding a spot—that's a big plus.
Surprisingly, the restrooms are really clean, no bad odors at all, and they're well-maintained. That definitely deserves a shout-out. However, compared to the Starbucks in Edmonds, the coffee here is a bit more expensive. It would be even better if there were some promotions in the future. All in all, it's worth coming back!“
“I absolutely love this location. It's always very clean and organized in the interior, and the drinks are always perfect. I typically order online, but have started ordering in person because of how fast and genuine the staff is here. Easily the best Starbucks in Seattle in my opinion.“
“Frankly I'm not a big fan of Starbucks as I find it's coffee weak but at this location the cappuccino was pretty decent. Also Starbucks stays open late so that helps.
Special mention is the reusable cups that they serve coffee in which they sterilize and re-use.
This is one of the few Starbucks I would return to.“
“Kloie was sweet, it was early morning and made a foolish mistake of pushing my laptop that made my passion tea fell off. I felt bad but they were nice about it, told me to not worry about cleaning it up and even gave me a replacement without me asking. They were a tight crew like a machine, and if you cant find the outlets, its under the sofa <3“
“I love what they have done with this location, the remodel turned out amazing. Sure it sucked when it was closed but it was worth the wait. The crew is always super nice and welcoming, my hats off to them as the shear volume they seem to deal with would kill me. They always seem to do it with a smile. I have always wondered how they keep the lobby clean, I really don’t know how they do it but they flat get it done, there is someone constantly tending to the lobby and bathrooms it seems. With a lot of places in Seattle not looking like they once did it’s refreshing to have a place local to me I can pop in, get a coffee and a snack and be greeted by smiles and laughs. The atmosphere here is something other companies should try to follow.
Ps: who doesn’t love a cake pop every now and then!“
“A bit noisy environment at times.
*****The service is friendly and efficient. *****
Say what you want about the Starbucks oligarchy (and I have elsewhere), the SB cafes I generally visit are a more pleasant experience than most of the local coffee operators in Seattle.
Seems to draw a diverse clientele.
Comfortable as a third place for hanging with friends.“
“They are really nice in this Starbucks! They really know their drinks and are very willing to make any changes for gluten and dairy. They help in a very kind way, and it is very much appreciated.
Dietary restrictions: They help accommodate for dairy free beverages and are very kind about it, and patient!“
“This Starbucks has a really unique vibe. It’s a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee while getting some work done or just catching up with friends. The baristas are always friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.“
“This has to be the furthest Northwest Starbucks I have ever gone to. I must go back... A well brewed coffee and a group of baristas that definitely got you feeling so invited. Such a nice cozy Starbucks to visit. Thank you Jason for all your help... 10.25 % sales tax in Seattle WA wow... Wow....“
“This is a very cozy place clean and very friendly stuff. This is a very typical Seattle Starbucks with lots of friendly people working, with ambience with variety of the coffee food. The most important thing is the place is very good. This is much better to come with many others Starbucks I visited before. Good job highly recommended to have a nice coffee or snack.“
“Beautiful, comfortable space. Widely. But the bartenders are fun and welcoming to customers and will definitely come back. This place is also suitable for many busy dining areas. In particular, there is an employee named Tony who is very cute and enthusiastic“
“Friendly and helpful barista ?Had problem with my Starbucks apps the whole day to claim my bday reward. After checking internally, they advised me to contact the customer service hotline in the future. In addition, they nicely offered me my complimentary bday drink.Love the festive xmas-y Peppermint Mocha, loaded with lotsa whipped cream & sprinkles ~ ??Thank u~! ?“
“Starbucks☕️
601 Union St, Seattle, WA 98101
This Starbucks is a little hidden, but the location is very comfortable and quiet. You will fall in love with this place after you come here once. Go up the stairs to the central outdoor square (pay attention to find the flags of various countries). The baristas in this store have really good service smiles. The latte and banana cake I ordered were ready very quickly. They also came to ask if I needed a glass of water and brought a glass of iced water. There is a lot of space inside and outside the store. You can also sit outdoors in the central square and relax with a cup of coffee here!“
“I mean, it's a starbucks and far be it from me for paying for ANOTHER private jet for mr. nicols or whatever his name is, BUT if you're gonna get it, might as well be here. this location has always been super quick, kind, and consistent even in the face of insane customers.“
“Trader Joe's has the best stuff. Most of their stuff is by companies that make using only healthy ingredients. You do have to read the labels, because there are some things that have bad oils, etc. They don't read the labels for you, but they do have mostly naturally made stuff.“
“This Starbucks team is exceptional—truly a cut above other branches. Their customer service is outstanding, and they consistently craft my drinks with care and precision. Every other Sunday after church, I make it a point to visit, and I’m always greeted with warmth and cheerfulness. I truly appreciate this amazing crew—keep up the fantastic work!“
“It's not too bad, maybe add more seats for more people.
Vegetarian options: Many options available
Kid-friendliness: Many usual kids friendly drinks
Parking: Many floors and spots for parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Usual target entrance
Dietary restrictions: Had many different milk and combo available“
“MARIA, she is very skilled and customer-friendly! She alone was working when I got there for my drinks and there were a few of us in the line. She was very interactive, making suggestions from the menu. When my order was made, she ensured I was pleased! Thank you…..it was probably the best I’ve ever had from a Starbucks!PS: I really don’t remember if Maria was her name but she has black hair, and about 5’5”. Very beautiful. Anyway thank you for amazing service ?“
“I went in at 6:45 to get my daily drink and the lady at the cash register who is always really nice, said we are closed.. same thing happened yesterday. I don’t understand? It says it’s open till 7. If not, change your hours. It’s a waste of time driving to your location to be turned away 15min prior to closing.“
“Very convenient. Fresh coffee and drinks. Good staff. This Starbucks is located inside the Sheraton Grand Seattle, so convenient to grab drinks on the go ( to the convention centre). This is not a sit down, just take out. But you can sit in the hotel lobby if you need to sit, I guess. Excellent service, though sometimes there's a line up. I personally appreciate the free cup of water to go with my tea ( since I have to pay for water at the hotel). Wish it was open later, cause sometimes I just need that extra boost in the evening. Still, this Starbucks is open 5am to 5 pm daily.“
“What I've always loved about this store is that all the workers are very nice. Even if it's something that corporate wants them to do, I feel like they try their best to make you feel warm and welcome. I really enjoyed the little note on my cup, and I hope the team has a good day today :)“
“I think Starbucks is a very good coffee shop for me to go into especially now that I can go get my single Americano in either call or grande style I think that works pretty good and I sure like their point system it works very well for me besides that if I start earning points then I can actually get a reward for it because other coffee companies or coffee shop do I go to sometimes they have a point system where you earn up to 10 free points or whatever it is and you get a free cup of coffee or whatever and that's what I like about this because it saves a lot of people time and effort to go into a coffee shop like this to get their coffee and whatever else they need but I think what's really nice about is that I think one of their promotions would be later on is if you go out and get a cup of coffee from them they might offer you an idea to get one of those some Starbucks cards which are preloaded and basically what it is if you get one of those that's great and that's why the reason why I have one of those Starbucks cards to wear it basically I can get into a gold system or something like that that's what I have although I haven't used it lately but I'm going to think about starting to use it anyway when it's all said and done since I've only had that particular card for about 9 years it's very useful now if we got other people to start getting a hold of a Starbucks card which would basically mean if you gradually move into the point system or going to a tear like a gold card like what I've got basically it means you can put money on the card and that's it now if they do have you know preloaded Starbucks cards or if you can actually purchase a card all you have to do is just loaded and forget it and then when you come in to go get your coffee you have the card right there because basically they just act like a credit card and you won't have to worry about a single thing“
“Delivery person here. A $30 single cold coffee just fell over. Inside the bag. It was on a flat surface. There was no way I could’ve prevented it. Please pack better. I don’t know if it wasn’t pushed inside the tray properly? Or if it was just too heavy to be in a double tray inside a bag Alone without more support. Thank you.“
“came in with a dead phone stressing about meeting my cousin at a thai restaurant right up the street that i didn’t know the name of and a girl named Evelyn was super helpful trying to look up the names of nearby restaurants and gave me a cup of water and even charged my phone so that i could make a call! i was an hour late to the place lol but it didnt matter, i got there safely and explained the whole situation to my cousin and we appreciate you. all the staff that day :) even though i didn’t buy anything i would definitely get something from them if i pass by again“
“Possible who works at Hunter's pretty good and quick and know what they're doing really only reason why it's got a three-star in the atmosphere is because well it's in QGC. QFC is okay I guess
Vegetarian options: I mean really it's just your quick stop for coffee or refreshment of some sort“
“Hidden coffee gem! Not very crowdy but with full scale traditional Starbuks service. But really hard to find. Many signs outside but if you come from its back you may not be able to find it without help. We entered through emergency entrance and I asked 3 or 4 times on our way if we were going right way or not. The staff was sweet and helpful, though. So, choose hospital's main entrance if you are shy to ask.“
“Desperately needed coffee and this location is fantastic. After hours drive-through, my barista John was so polite, service with a smile. My Venti Breve Mocha was superb, not too hot just the perfect temperature. I would consider driving out of my way just to go back here!“
“Staff is always really nice and very kind. There's been a few times where my car didn't work. And at 1 of the locations, the girl was so nice. She just gave it to me. Anyways, I thought that was really kind of her. Of course, I would never expect that she knows. I didn't go there to try to do that. It's just the thought. Most places will not do that for you.Anymore they were very understanding. Most places are not understanding anymore. These days“
“Yesterday i finally got to make my own drink@starbuks . caramel whip crunch with single shot with chocolate java chips and exrta chocolate drizzle. Very sweet of a drink but not to sweet with the whole milk and crunched ice .I gotta say venti is alwayd my way of being extra .but thats just me ? lol.“
“I went to this Starbucks every morning that I was in Seattle. I was visiting a relative that doesn't drink coffee. I had never been in a Starbucks before. I used the time to catch up on my email, texts and phone messages. I will be visiting again this Summer and will frequent this establishment again.“
“The baristas here have always been quite friendly, and it has been nice to sit at one of the provided tables and enjoy my beverage.Something I don't quite understand is how they can fly the Starbucks name and have their menu, yet remain unaffiliated with Starbucks. It is truly a puzzling situation. Is that the case for all Starbucks in other stores or just this one?“
“Starbies! Well this location felt sanitized and formal. The staff was robotic, gave that tired face, but very accommodating. Even though my order was hotter than usual. It had a more corporate feel rather than the neighborhood starbies vibes.“
“Had to try a pumpkin spice latte and see what all of the hype is about. Great service with a smile and my drink was delicious! Doubt I'll become an addict, but I will be having another. Warmed me up and gave me some much needed energy! Thanks Starbucks!“
“malcolm the barista is my personal hero. please add the option to tip on the pinpad so that I can tip them. They make the greatest brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso I’ve ever had from a Starbucks and they’re also really friendly even at 7am when I’m barely awake.“
“My drinks were made just the way I wanted. Baristas definitely listened, and they were fast and friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Located in grocery store, all ages present.
Parking: Plenty of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Has it because it's a grocery store location“
“I'm not sure what the question is. It is what you would expect from Starbucks a standard that surpasses the highest marks attained by any other coffee shop. It always has been that for me and I just take for granted it always will be. Starbucks is the epitome of what coffee shops should be. Period. B-)“
“Friendly staff and a comfortable place to meet. We occasionally host business meetings here for the Snohomish Roofing Company sales and administrative team and sometimes meet with clients to discuss roofing options. Convenient and welcoming atmosphere.“
“Super fun experience tubing down the river on a hot day. Staff were all super nice and helpful. For tubing, be sure to ask directions to where you start - the location that comes up when you Google Maps to Osprey is where you go for rafting. The tubing location is closer to Leavenworth.“
“A perfectly good and pleasant Starbucks location that I visited recently in order to spend a wonderful gift card I received. I am more of a tea drinker myself and so bought a refreshing chai latte that I sipped in the early evening while looking out the large windows at the people passing by. It was quiet in the evening, and the laid back, slightly earthy atmosphere felt quite charming and distinctly Seattle. I would not say I'm usually the biggest Starbucks aficionado, but it fits in well to the urban fabric and the overall culture here in Seattle, and this location is particularly cozy. If you are in the Denny triangle area and need to get something to eat and drink, this is a good spot.“
“Always a great experience here! The baristas are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely make your day better. Forcing businesses like Starbucks to be open on holidays especially Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day feels unnecessary and honestly kind of lame. That said, the baristas are always so kind, welcoming, and positive, even on days they probably should be home with their families or off. Their great attitudes really stand out and are truly appreciated. They’re friendly, patient, and clearly care about their customers. Consistently great service, this Starbucks is a pleasure to visit“
“11-30-2023. Saydee is amazing. We had multiple orders. She did it with a smile. Awesome customer service, She is great!Vesi vesi vesi.....thank you. She always makes my drink correctly and perfectly. I like to get the cold brew with the added cold foam. I asked for it to be in a venti cup therefore I can get the full amount of cold brew with the full amount of foam. Most times when I get it there is not the proper amount of foam than I am paying for. This girl gets it spot on every time.“
“Located inside one of the world’s most beautiful libraries, Suzzallo and Allen Libraries at the University of Washington, this Starbucks is one of the brand’s most unique locations—and a popular stop for visitors from around the world.“
“Walking through Pike Place Market and visiting the original Starbucks was such a special Seattle moment ☕️✨
Inside the store, the vintage logo, classic displays, and old-school atmosphere made the history feel very real 📜🌿
Pike Place Market has been part of Seattle since 1907, and Starbucks began here in 1971.
Being in a place where both stories come together felt truly iconic and memorable 😊
The lively market outside and the nostalgic coffee history inside made this visit even more meaningful.
A beautiful spot to enjoy both Seattle’s energy and its heritage ☕️🇺🇸✨
