“What a cute and charming wine bar. That’s what jumped out at me with is place. Great layout and decor and a nice warm, inviting vibe. This place is a self-service wine bar with selections of wine basically on tap. You pay by the ounce with 1, 3, or 5-ounce sizes. We didn’t get anything to eat, but they have food including charcuterie boards, and truffle chocolates. While the place is nice and the service great, the wines are not very good. We sampled 6 and only liked one. For the price you pay which is on the higher side, I’d hope they get some quality wines. I know you have to show profit with margins, but please upgrade your wines. Overall I recommend this place as it’s lovely, but don’t get your hopes up on the wines.“

“Everything I’ve had here is so good! Feature items are always thoughtful and delicious. A regular menu go to is the twice baked potato, which is always so good. This weekend she featured a crab roll, which is one of the best I’ve ever had service is friendly and personal, and the environment is very cozy and welcoming.“
“My partner and I came in for our first ever Magic: The Gathering pre release event (beginner’s night) and had a really fun time! The owner Elijah has curated a super chill vibe and atmosphere, and one that is very welcoming and inclusive. I will definitely be coming back for future events!
Also a great selection of beer and wine!“

“I am blown away by how good this place is. Not even exaggerating, best Italian food in Seattle.
The spinach cannelloni they had tonight was an absolute dream. I am BEGGING them to make this permanent on the menu. I’m going to be craving it.“
“Little pricey but LOVE!!!!
We came here on a rainy night and we sat outside under the cover, listening to music, curled up in a blanket with a glass of wine and had the most beautiful evening.
This was. Everything.
Rainy night. Neighborhood walkers with dogs. It was just. Right.“

“Terrific wine bar. Didn’t try the food though the wine was delicious and so I have no doubt the food would be too - came back here 2 nights in a row because I wanted to try some other wines in the menu. The owners also stayed and kindly chatted with me while I finished my wine after closing which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely return on my next visit!“

“Tried this very special “takeout only omakase sushi box”, Edomae style ( use cured/aged fish, and red vinegar seasoning in rice). The executive chef, chef Ryo, has worked in many renowned restaurant including Michelin star sushi restaurant “Sushi Sho”. Before joining this new restaurant “Ltd Edition Sushi” in capitol hill, he worked side by side with chef Nakazawa-an icon of edomae style in Japan, at both Sushi Sho Tokyo and Sushi Sho Honolulu. The sushi omakase box and kids fish bowl are both very sophisticated, the curing and aging techniques brings out the deep complex flavor of each fish and gives each fish this extra tender texture, the taste profile as such is hard to find here in Seattle. Chef sake flight ( we tried Haneya Junmai Ginjo and Hidakami Junmai today), one is floral and one on the dry side, pair with his sushi very well. Sushi is in a very elegant wooden box and everything you will need for the experience including a separate soy sauce dipping dish is prepared for the guest. This is, truly, a perfect omakase takeout experience. 💕💕😋“

“Great service and great food! Stopped by for oysters and ar drinks and was not dissapointed! Small spot but you can find a spot later at night before they close. The sides they use for oysters were spot on and unique. Will definitely be coming back“

“What a gem this place is. Such a cozy spot, with super friendly and helpful staff, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a pretty extensive food menu as well (the cheese plate was to die for). It's awesome to be able to learn about and support the wineries they showcase. Places like this are why I feel so grateful to live in Seattle.“

“Have visited this location several times over the past 8 years and in each case the experience has been outstanding! The food and drink are delicious. Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are what you’d expect for a steakhouse. Parking can be somewhat challenging as you’re reliant on finding either street parking or a parking garage that’s available but each time I’ve gone has not been problematic for me.“

“The food is always very good. We come here every time we’re in town to visit our husky at UW. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A bit pricey.“
“Otherworld is dynamic and always hits the spot. It takes many forms throughout the week, from chill spot to read alone, to a great date night before cooking dinner at home or dining in cap hill, or an end of night stop with DJ spinning vinyl and shoulder to shoulder energy. Oh, and the wine is truly awesome. I highly recommend joining the wine club, it's the best wine club in town. Every wine we've had there has been fun and unique.“

“Nice draft list and great to-go section. Only had 5 mins since the fam was in the car but I was able to order a little taster dipa, get a mix pack of some hazies, westie and a stout. Also, found a wax top stout for 36 that I hope is fire! Beertender was cool and helpful. Gets my nod of approval!“

“We were thrilled with everything about this new restaurant. LOVED the food selections, wine was divine and service impeccable. Highly recommend!“
“Walking into Aluel Cellars on top of Queen Anne feels like stepping into a snug vineyard tasting room transplanted into the city. I settled in and chose their Aluel Signature Flight and their Aluel New Release Flight, each a carefully sequenced lineup of their handcrafted Washington estate wines. The Signature Flight had richer, more developed profiles while the New Release offered bright, excited youth. I paired them with the European tinned fish, sardines and pulpo that arrived in polished little tins, and asked about the oysters. The server said they often have them for pairing events, so depending on timing you might catch fresh oysters too. Compared to other wine bars or tasting rooms in town, Aluel strikes a rare balance: serious about wine craft but laid back in vibe, welcoming instead of pretentious, and offering well curated bites that elevate rather than distract.“

“Outstanding service in the quaint early Seattle house converted into a restaurant, wine bar, and bottle shop. There’s a ton going on in the space but it all works, with lovely design details and local artists’ work displayed. The charred little gems with crispy shallots, mushroom toast, and mac and cheese were delicious and well paced. Loved the super minty mint lemonade. We saved just enough room for rhubarb shortcake which exceeded our expectations with lots of whipped cream and pretty plating. Our server Christopher was wonderful. It’s a bit loud during weekend dinner in the indoor seating. The patio was closed for a private event during our visit, so we’ll be back to check that out.“

“My husband and I have had the pleasure of frequenting this business a few times! We were invited to attend a few live performances by two friends of ours. We LOVE wine. This business specializes in artisinal and small-batch wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. DELICIOUS! Their appetizer menu is EXCEPTIONAL! Their service is IMPECCABLE!
If you are as enamored of fine wine as we are, check this beautiful business out! You will find it worth your time. And much, much more!“

“I was in town for a special event, I haven't been here before and was amazed with every aspect of my experience. our server Charles was utterly fabulous. he was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and prompt. he made it feel like we were old friends. the steaks were perfectly cooked. I am 4 and 1/2 years sober, and to go out and enjoy an exquisite meal and only drink water can be a drag, but you all had an amazing selection of mocktails, my partners and I enjoyed immensely. I took the time to thank Charles for everything and got to meet Justin, letting him know how wonderful everything was. this will definitely be a regular stop anytime I visit.“

“A great spot for authentic kaiseki in Seattle. The dishes are creative and the presentation is thoughtful, extending to the beautiful ceramics and plating. It’s a quiet, intimate space that’s perfect for a focused meal or a date. Service was excellent and professional. They apply an automatic 20% service charge but don’t ask for tips on top of that, which simplifies the end of the meal. I’m looking forward to returning.“

“I've been putting off trying out Off Alley for a while. I could never get a reservation, it was far from my home, etc etc. However, their website said they encouraged walk ins so I spontaneously went one day. I kinda regret postponing it all this time. The menu changes at least once a week (check their insta). It's all written on a chalkboard and it reminded me of the daily specials at the French bistros in Paris. The chef is very down to earth and very passionate about sourcing the food locally. We learned about the cucumber varietals he used from the farmer's market that week and the farms that he sourced the beef tongue and squab from. The sauces are clearly slowly reduced, very concentrated and flavorful. If you want a farm to table, nose to tail seasonal restaurant without the posh uptight environment, this is it! The other benefit is that gratuity is incorporated into menu prices (thank you chef for doing this). I'll admit dish sizes for the respective prices can be a shock at first but it includes gratuity and you're supporting local farmers. It's meant to be tapas style so share multiple dishes. No regrets, we'll be back.“

“Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally came by for a pre-work coffee. The barista made my espresso perfectly and was great to chat with. The vibes in here are spectacular, not too loud, free Wi-Fi, and I love the upstairs seating area!
There weren’t many food options left but I think I just visited too late in the day!
Will definitely be back here very soon.“

“High quality drinks in a super cute, open, aesthetic space that's perfect for working remotely or studying! The matcha has good flavor and the coffee is robust. The portions for the snacks are kind of small, but they'll keep you fueled for your work sesh! 10/10 would recommend! I've been here a few times and it's becoming one of my favorite spots to work or chat with friends“
“So much fun and so knowledgeable! You can get a Champagne flight, a sparking wine flight, and or a wine flight. The champagne and wine was delicious, and I really appreciated the knowledge they shared. The music is also lots of fun and the place is a comfy place to hang out.“
“If you are in the mood for elegant, vintage drinks with a whimsical (truly whimsical) twist - look no further - thus is your stop, for a sip - or two, or... We had the Chai Old Fashioned and the Last Word... If the devil is in the details - so are the companions of Bacchus - the REAL maraschino cherry in the Last Word and the massive ice cube in the Old Fashioned confirm how serious thus place is about its drinks reputation. Also, the Cherry and Apricot Salad gave us that so very needed connection with the local farmers' produce, it being a delightfully crispy concoction of bitter radicchio and peppery greens, smoothed by a pungent goat cheese and vanilla balsamic vinaigrette. The bread and the sharp olive oil were especially appreciated with the salad. We love gelato, but ordered the blackberry sorbet and did not regret it since it came with a solid chunk of anise biscotti - an excellent pairing for the double espresso. Our waiter, Troy, made us feel well attended, but not even once did he overdo it.“

“One of the most unique wine bars in Seattle. If you want something different this is the place to go. Phenomenal selection of Italian wines that you could probably only find here.Incredibly knowledgeable staff was incredibly friendly and stepped through every wine they served.Definitely take your wine loving friends here.“
“Live the Cinsault this time and Sue is the best!!“
“The Oklahoma smash burger here was really good. The double was satisfying and there was a nice balance between lacy crispy edges and the juicy patty, although we did find it to be a tad salty. The tater tots were super crispy (very satisfying!) and much better than the fries, which were a little limp, although still well seasoned. Definitely worth a stop, I'll be back!“

“I found this elegant coffee shop near where I'm staying on Beacon Hill. The place is laid out in a very comforting and relaxing fashion, serving well prepared coffee drinks and a great selection of pastries.
They also have a full wine bar which makes it a great place to come anytime of the day. The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be visiting periodically since it's an enjoyable place to hang.
It is located within easy walking distance of the beacon Hill links stop. I recommend the place highly.“

“If you can snag a reservation here, do it — but honestly, even if you can’t, they hold a few tables each night for walk-ins, and it’s so worth the wait. The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated — chic, eclectic, and a little bit artsy — and when the live music starts, it’s pure magic. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. From the appetizers to the pappardelle pasta and rabbit (plus alllll the bread), everything was beyond delicious. Huge shoutout to our server, Jeannie, who was amazing — warm, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. We left already planning our next visit. This place is beautiful, delicious, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back!“

“An exceptional wine bar. A very intentional space created for intimate conversations and connections to be made. I went here with my friend for her birthday and it was such a relaxing and fun environment. You’ll have to look at the menu board, but if you don’t know what to drink, ask! They are so well-verse in their menu selection and have great recommendations. We had a true girl dinner, a full charcuterie board with glasses of red wine. Everyone, including the patrons, are so nice! You can definitely start a conversation at the bar counter and make a new friend. The owner, David, has created such an incredible space attracting such genuine people and will offer you life advice if you want it or just amazing cheese recommendations. You won’t regret coming here!“
