The owner was kind and apologetic for opening 20 min late.
We ordered a little bit of everything. Fish by the lb (cornmeal battered) perfectly seasoned reminded me of how my grandma used to make it.
Chicken (flour battered) it was good but could use a little bit more seasoning.
Sides: Mac n cheese, greens, hush puppies, roll, and corn bread.
Dessert: Strawberry cake

He is what makes coming to Los Cabos so enjoyable, his service is always superb. We are guaranteed to have a good laugh when having a conversation with him. It was obvious quality and presentation were the restaurant's top priority; food was delish, service was great, too and our overall dining experience reflected that. Something to keep in mind - the pace of service is more leisurely, which might not be ideal for guests who are in a rush to get back to the casino floor. But if you have the time to relax and enjoy, it's absolutely worth the wait.”

The torta was delicious the beans weren't refried which I appreciated. And it came with fresh sliced avocado it looked dlike I got half of one medium avocado.
My husband had yhe tacos and while he said the flavor was good the meat was a little dry. But the salsa made up for it. The hirchata was also delicious. It had the authentic powder remnants at the bottom only real home made horchata has. Will definitely visit again.”

I didn’t order the combos on purpose but who knew the Japanese food and Chinese food complimented each other very well. Talking about a great service, my wife order the sesame balls for a dessert. 2 of 5 were a bit under cooked somehow. We broke them a part but didn’t eat them. One other staffs walked by and asked if we didn’t like. My wife told her those 2 seemed like they are not full cooked so we didn’t want to eat them but we are okayed. She then insisted that she asked the chef to make a fresh batch of 5 for us. This time they were perfectly cooked. I was impressed with her and felt very appreciative. I recommend this place if you like delicious food and something quick.”

“Ive been coming to this shop ever since they first opened up, and it is the best banh mi you can get in the area, at a fair price, and the drink options are phenomenal! They even have shake versions of most milk tea drinks, but its more like a thick smoothie, and the various drink add ins are always fresh, i have not tried their cane juices or anything besides the sandwiches and milk tea, but, no matter how long its been since my last visit, or who is on the counter, they always ask me if i want my usual order or not, and will remember to not include jalapeño even if i dont think to ask about removing it. I will continue to get banh mi and more here until i die, or the shop ends up closing, whichever comes first. This is the single best location in Auburn for both boba drinks and banh mi and their egg rolls and spring rolls will change your life!”

“An honest review: My grandma discovered this spot almost 30 years ago, and since then my parents and grandma have eaten here often, always saying it was amazing. Today I ordered food for takeaway for the third time, and honestly, it was just incredible. The Pad Thai is absolutely delicious, the Yellow Curry was amazing, same with the spring rolls and the Red Curry. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the super tasty food and the incredibly sweet and friendly owners more than make up for it.
In short: The food is fantastic, the owners are super kind and sweet, the atmosphere is so-so — but if you want authentic, insanely good Thai food, this place is definitely a go-to.”

“My friend introduced me to this place yesterday. I never thought in a million years I’d like dipping chips (homemade too) in garlic ranch dressing, but it was delicious. Their French Dip with au jus was scrumptious as well; almost as good as having one in NY. Also, they have awesome garlic fries, they use fresh minced garlic. They even make their mozzarella sticks from scratch. Thanks to my friend, I’ll definitely have to take my family here, yum! 🙉 We had an awesome waitress, very attentive. The staff are super friendly, the food is out of this world, the atmosphere is crazy fun, and it's celiac safe with only a couple menu items that can't be made gluten free! They have video games to play, a small mini golf area, all kinds of toys, games, comic books, and a whole section for Pokémon cards. Even their prices are incredibly reasonable on everything they sell. We will definitely be back!”

“We ordered here through DoorDash as they had a pretty good deal going on and my mom offered to buy us food since she injured herself and we were taking care of her. My mom got the spicy chicken teriyaki, my boyfriend got the chicken breast teriyaki and I got the regular chicken teriyaki. Food didn't take too long to receive and it was still hot despite coming all the way from Auburn.

Their salad is different from the typical salads from teriyaki places as it is more traditionally Korean style salads as it consists mostly of cabbages with other slices of vegetables with a creamy sauce. The sauce is also not the traditionally one you get from teriyaki places but it is in my opinion way better. It had a good tangy taste with familiar tastes other teriyaki places and fit well with the rest of the salad. As a Korean, I prefer this salad as I hate getting salads from other teriyaki places and seeing wilted or old vegetables with my salad as it makes it not appetizing or makes you question if you should even eat it. I saw no issues with my salad. My mom asked for no burnt ends on her teriyaki and they seem to have done a decent job at doing so, but definitely could be better. I didn't ask for it but my teriyaki wasn't too bad, so I don't think I need to make it a note. They also are extremely generous with the portions as there was just meat rather than topping the meats on more rice which I appreciate. The teriyaki was good, not too sweet or flavorless and sticking well on the meats. I appreciate that they give you a sauce of teriyaki with each teriyaki order, including the spicy version. Definitely want to try out their Korean bowls which seem like a good variety of food for a reasonable price.”

“Bought Glow Tea again this year. And it was the best bubble tea at the fair!
The tapioca pearls were perfect and chewy, the lychee was tasty, the passion fruit tea was perfectly sweet and even had the seeds!!!
They had a self order kiosk section that was super convenient and when you did interact with witht the employees it was short and sweet.
And they turned on the lights when they handed it out to make sure people saw the glow!!
They also had Boa Box and I'm so excited to order both again next year!
Please come to the fair every year from now on! Best drink and food we had at the fair and definitely telling anyone to go there (also cute inflatable)

2 years ago review---Bought the Passion fruit Glow tea at the Puyallup State Fair and was extremely disappointed.
The price of the smallest size option was nearly $20
It wasn't filled all the way, had no sugar at all, I did order both the boba and lychee toppings and didn't say if they were extra or not and it was still bitter.
Customer service wasn't rude but they definitely weren't happy to be there.
It's been a week now, and I did take home the cute little lightbulb they give you.

I figured that's why the name Glow tea, no in fact a week after the fair we realized there is a little switch on the bottom to turn on the lights and make it glow pretty colors, it's really bright too! Super cool, it would have been awesome to use it too had we known.

The novelty of it was cool, but I don't plan to buy again when it didn't take good at all.”

“We lived in Laos for 7 years and love Lao food. This is by far the most authentic tasting Lao food that we have found. We especially like their nem khao, Lao style sausages, and their jeow mak lin is the only real-tasting Lao tomato salsa that I have ever found outside of Laos or my wife's kitchen. They have done amazing job with their flavors and indoor casual atmosphere (feels very modern Vientiane chic). They seem to have a hard time keeping their khao piak noodles on hand so if you really your khao piak fix, be sure to call ahead. I have now been to Sweet Rice 5 times and they have never had the khao piak noodles. If you want really good Lao food and can't get over there, you can get your fix at Sweet Rice!”
