“Very nice place, hidden gem in Langley. Lot of vegetarian roll options available.. my absolute favourite is Yam Yam roll, can’t get enough of those. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and very fulfilling and prices are genuine. Extensive menu, options available for vegetarians.Vegetarian options: Different types of rolls available with Vegetarian options.“
“This is our go to Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. A few years ago it used to have a more “Japanese“ vibe with more interesting seating options. Tends to be a little cool for sit in eating but overall, we love it. If they would go back to the old, more traditional seating, that would be Amazeballs. Food quality is very respectable overall.“
“The quality and service has been very good in the last four years we have been to this restaurant. However, tonight….the food was top notch. The servers are extremely friendly and helpful….up and beyond to say the least.Takoyaki to die for. Tuna sashmi is so fresh and beautifully presented. Chopped scallop nigiri is fresh like the ocean. The unagi was the best. Thanks Sushi Wa ?“
“All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the customer service was above and beyond. They were so kind, especially to our children. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: They were so welcoming and kind to our children. Special waters, plates and even treats at the end. Thank you!“
“One of our favorite places to go to for spicy chirashi don (Korean style)! Their service is always excellent! Very attentive to their customers!Vegetarian options: Their tempura is perfectly cooked! When you try their prawn tempura...it is perfection!! Nice assortment of sweet potato and yams.“
“What can I say about Shushi Musa, as they continue to amaze with their quick service and food quality. So far, this is the best Shushi place in the area and trust me, I am very selective when it comes to food; Shushi is always delicious (and top notch) and also, just at the right price. Very clean inside and thoughtfully decorated; perfect for a family or other type of fine dining experience. I'm hoping they will open on Sundays in the future, again no complaints.Vegetarian options: The size of each Shushi roll with a sufficient quantity of food is definitely filling.Parking: Adequate parking and easily accessible location.“
“The omakase was a phenomenal experience. The food was fresh and flavorful. The ambience was cozy and welcoming. The service was accomodating and friendly. In particular, we enjoyed the menu created by the chef as it offered an incredible selection of dishes. Every bite was a delight! We will come again - highly recommended!“
“Service was awesome, and the staff was on point. Place is cozy, the fish is fresh, and the rolls are quite good. Knocking off a star because the sushi rice is a bit too soft and the seaweed could be more crunchy. Price is a little bit above average.“
“The food is amazing, one of my favorite Sushi places to eat at. Staff are incredible, Kind and helpful. You will not regret making this your new favorite stop.Dietary restrictions: We had to request no shell fish and they were able to accommodate.“
“Quaint little place I popped into while waiting for my sister. Friendly service, delightful food and big nice windows to watch the February snow fallVegetarian options: Had a delicious cucumber roll & a gomae roll - both so good!!Parking: Handful of spots right out front but also plenty of street parking“
“This is my family’s favourite Sushi spot in the whole lower mainland. The quality is beyond expectations and flavourful, fresh ingredients and the service is spot on. I highly recommend the Toro Nigiri!! Everything we’ve ordered is amazing. Owners and staff are super welcoming and always offer great service. This is definitely a gem in the neighborhood and deserves much praise. We come here at least once or twice a month. Worth the drive if you live far trust me.“
“Generous portions and if you love Miso soup, Ko’s imo is one of the Lower Mainland’s best in overall taste delivered piping hot. This family business exceeds your expectations in both customer service and extreme friendliness. You are greeted with warm smiles and allowed to sit where you feel most comfortable.Great menu and don’t be afraid to bring an appetite as they serve one of the largest dishes of California rolls on the planet. We highly recommend Ko’sOur family has had countless visits and will continue to patronize this beautiful family run local business. This is your best choice in the Murrayville/Langley marketplace.“
“Best authentic Japanese restaurant in the area! The beach roll, Uni sushi, spicy seared tuna are so delicious! My fiancé and I go here a few times a month. We love that the restaurant is so intimate and run by the whole family. I recommend booking a reservation to guarantee yourself a seat.“
“Sushi, sashimi, and katsu are all very good! Each is very different and unique in flavor. Katsu is very crispy and flaky, sashimi tastes so fresh, and sushi is very flavorful but still balanced also, the atmosphere is very aesthetic and modern. And not to mention, the display/plating of the food is so pretty.“
“Passed by the small restaurant after shopping at Safeway. They have really nice food at an affordable price, with the nicest service I've ever seen. Jenny is really helpful in explaining the menu and provides such amazing service, more than what I expected. I would definitely revisit again.“
“I've been to this restaurant many times, and it is one of my favourites so far. The staff are kind, the food is so good, and the decorations really make it perfect. The way the food is arranged on the plate is very beautiful. They do dine-in and take-out for whatever you're feeling. If you haven't tried sushi or are looking for a good lunch with family or by yourself, you should try this place!“
“i’m very picky with sushi places and i find it’s very hard to find a good sushi. but tokyo is my favourite place to go to. the service when walking in this door is welcoming and friendly. they get the dishes out very fast and it’s always very clean!if you want welcoming, fast service and quality sushi. i will always recommend this place!“
“Had a great dining experience, nice ambiance and tasteful decorations.Perfectly prepared specialty rolls with a variety of flavors and textures. We appreciate a bit of heat so it was nice to have the West Coast, 911, and jalapeño rolls for that satisfying kick. They take a lot of care in preparation and presentation. Our kids couldn’t resist the freshness of the salmon sashimi and devoured it. Moreover, the tempura was flawlessly fried to a golden crisp. My personal favorite was the Salmon Oshi with a savory and lightly flame kissed flavor. The restaurant not only excels in crafting delectable dishes but also in creating an inviting atmosphere. It’s evident that the culinary team takes pride in delivering top-notch quality. Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit to savor more of their culinary delights. A gem for both sushi enthusiasts and those seeking a serene dining haven.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love booths.“
“I've been to Haru on and off of the last few years, but the team they have in there now is the best so far. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The food is also awesome! I'm a sucker for a good dynamite roll and theirs is the top of my favorites right now. I'm kinda mad that they are walking distance from my home because I'm gonna spend a lot of money there.“
“Quality for cost here is great. Very homey restaurant with 4 small tables for seating. I was the most surprised by the pricing. The prices were good, you can get a sashimi dinner boat for 21$! There’s a lot of great combos. The sashimi was quite fresh and the rolls were good. I’m picky about sunomono, this one was average and passed the test. Scallop roll was good. Miso soup was a bit diluted but I’d still drink it. The owner is a warm and polite lady. Two of us shared a Sushi Sashimi Dinner Boat, scallop roll and salmon avocado roll - $40 after tip. I would definitely come again for these great prices. Highly recommend.“
“I havent had proper sushi in a very long time, as I moved to the east, but while visiting my brother we enjoyed a wonderful meal from the most kind and respectful couple who prepared us dishes I had not been able to enjoy for a few years. The food was so good and I feel so satisfied after such a long hiatus from proper sushi. This is a true west coast sushi restaurant.Thank you for the hospitality and we look forward to coming again.“
“After our fifth run at this location, the sushi presentations are excellent. The rolls are tight, good portion to price, and neat. This has been now our place to dine or order pick up as the dishes are prepared and consistently done right. I finally ordered assorted tempura as take out and they separated it from other packaging. Basically on its own plastic bag so they are warm and crispy. Will add photos next round as too anxious to eat.“
“We were visiting from Calgary today, and found this absolute gem of a sushi place. Hands down the best sushi we have ever eaten - and that includes our trip to Tokyo last spring. Absolutely delicious and flavorful, the quality and size of the sushi for the money is second to none. We ordered Joy's roll, the Last Train to London roll, the Spider roll, and the Deep Fried California roll and recommend them all! You've gotta go!!“
“The service here was fantastic! We ordered a lot of sushi and Tonkatsu Ramen, all of which were delicious and was served in a timely manner. The staff check-in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely coming back.“
“I ordered food from here and it was absolutely amazing. They give a lot food, which is so worth the price. The staff are so incredibly nice, lovely people. And the inside is super clean.I attached some photos of the food. I ordered a spicy chirashi don which had SO MUCH sashimi. And a tuna tataki, so yummy with eating the onion, sauce with the tuna. There's also the prawn tempura which is very crispy and didn't get soggy unlike some other places. Quality of the food is spectacular. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant to all. :)“
“Updated my review from 2 years ago with more pics from my recent visit.I ordered the dinner box. Great value! Great portions. The staff is always really friendly here. They were busy when I ordered during the dinner rush (which is an indication that this is the right place to go) I will definitely be back. Thanks for the great service and delicious food!“
“I love Ding Sushi. ? ?Ding sushi is a beautiful place to dine-in and enjoy great portions of delicious sushi rolls, beef udon, or whatever it is you like. Inside has a very relaxing and easy-going atmosphere with comfortable seating options. I love the vibe their clean and kept aquarium adds to the place, as well as watching the fish and anemone’s inside. The owner and cook’s are so pleasant and accommodating to their customers which also makes the environment very nice:). Not to even mention the size of their sushi rolls compared to other sushi restaurants i’ve been to! Sometimes one roll is filling enough but I still can’t resist their seaweed salad!I recommend coming here for your sushi cravings. ??“
“This is our go to Japanese place in the area and for good reason. The prices are great and the portions are reasonable. I ordered the Sashimi and Sushi Roll Combo while my boyfriend got the Spicy Chicken Yaki Udon and he found it spicy last time so he asked for it with less spice. Patrons be warned it is spicy!! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal as always with Hitori. ☺️“
“I have to say, Maguroguy is my favourite sushi restaurant in South Surrey.1.) The Staff: Super friendly, attentive, and you are served your food in a reasonable time frame.2.) The FOOD: There is nothing like biting into your sushi and knowing by the taste that the food is fresh and made with care. I really have never eaten anything sub-par here.3.) Ample Parking: Accessibility is great here for everyone.Definitely visit here, but I’ve even ordered from Uber Eats here and the food came quickly and tasted JUST AS DELICIOUS!“
“We had an amazing experience here. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our food was prepared and served in a super efficient manner. We ordered the agadeshi tofu, buttered prawns, crab heaven roll, and the six shooter roll. Each dish was delicious! We will definitely come back soon.“
“I moved all the way to Fleetwood but I still regularly come back to White Rock anytime I crave sushi, they recently just moved to Ocean Park and I have to say it is a beautiful new location and it overall pleases me. I’ve known the owners for a very long time ever since my childhood and they are incredibly and nice and very friendly people. The food looks professionally made and tastes authentically Japanese. I highly recommend it!“
“Thank you for your extra ordinary service today. I am sorry we failed to ask for our server name, he was awesome. Thank you for taking the time to teach us how to use the chopsticks, we had the tuna roll and beef teriyaki for the first time and it was yummy! We felt welcomed. Keep up the excellent service.“
“They have some bugs to work out. Not at all unexpected and probably not worth the mention.Price of food and drinks may well be their downfall. As expensive as we have seen in most any market. If you are going for the food with no other consideration, this place won't disappoint you.“
