“We absolutely LOVE the Seattle Meowtropolitan!! My 8 year old and I have been visiting regularly for more than a year now and we‘ve bonded with all the amazing kitties! Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind as well. The kitty-themed drinks and kitty macaroons are all delicious too! And the cat-inspired decorations—even in the restrooms—are wonderful! It’s a kitty paradise for all the cats and humans who visit. :) We highly recommend everyone who loves cats visits this magical place!“

“Very cute bakery with tasty matcha and a decent breakfast taco (good corn tortilla) given that they have no real kitchen. I loved sitting outside in the sun and relaxing today. I would definitely stop by again if I were in the area. There were a lot of pastries I'd like to try and didn't have the chance.“

“We've used Lighthouse whole beans for many years now, using a Breville conical burr grinder. A great way to go! But could you say a few words about the 'big' grinder you use for your ground bags? How quickly should one be able to get through a ground bag to retain consistency?“

“Nothing could come between me and a cup of Herkimer Coffee, nothing. This joint is sublime. From the classic PNW coffee shop feel to the masterful coffee being roasted on site, Herkimer is coffee Nirvana. Pastries are on point and staff is helpful and qualified to shoot a mean shot. Nice convo with the roasters led to a deeper understanding of the huge contraption on the roof!“

“The service at Bequest Coffee Co is top notch! food is made in house and super fresh, Coffee is prepared to perfection. They have an amazing outdoor seating area (my fav). Next visit you should try one of their house made flavors in your Coffee and pair that with ANY panini. Small and local business that really care to deliver the best customer service!“

“I like this restaurant and the food is delicious. It is very noisy and the owners should place some type of acoustic fabric on the ceiling to soften the noise.“

“We’ve lived in this neighborhood for just over 9 months as I write this and Muddy Cup is easily our favorite coffee spot. We spend a lot of our time in the outdoors and the cabin feel & decor of this place evokes Stanley, ID, Moab, UT, insert your favorite small mountain town, with no corporate undertones. The rear patio is tucked back off the road and sheltered by shady trees. The owner/barista Sarah (Sara? sorry if misspelled) is sweet, kind, and doesn’t rush you. Her standard coffees drinks are very well-executed, but when we stop by it’s usually for one of her special concoctions - the Orange You Glad Latte & the Put a Lime in the Coconut Mocha for us today. It’s an easy walk away, so even on the rare occasion I can’t find a seat inside, I enjoy the patio, chat with a neighbor, or take a slow walk home with a tasty drink and a bag of their roasted beans.
*pic is just a cuppa at home made from their beans“

“Really cute spot, lots of great seating options. They have Macrina bakery baked goods. They also have their own menu, but I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe next time. It’s street parking there, but I had no trouble getting a spot out front on a holiday.“

“I find this to be the best place to get some work done on the computer or just hangout. The coffee is fantastic, the baristas are very hard working and I always notice the same exact person there every time I go. This coffee shop really seems to be made of someone’s blood, sweat and tears, so it’s a worthwhile stop. The inclusion of community art, music, and products really shows that this place serves an important role to its local people.“
“Diana and her team have created such a fun and inviting spot for finding just the right gift, getting or shipping mail, or just grabbing a cup of coffee. I love Sip and Ship!“

“This is my go-to coffee stand. I absolutely love the roast and that it's organic coffee as well. I can taste the difference. My go-to drink is the raspberry silk iced decaf with almond milk. It's so creamy and tasty.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of alternative options.
Kid-friendliness: Yes
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes as long as you have a car you're good to go.“

“My wife and I came here for the first time years ago and it quickly became our favorite coffee shop in the area - we are now regulars! I recommend the sandwiches. They are unassuming on the menu - I assumed they were simple cold-case sandwiches, which I tend to avoid - but was so impressed when we tried them one day and discovered they're fresh-made, warmed and full of great ingredients, pestos and tomatoes and whatnot. I get the Med Chicken pretty regularly now. They also have a really great breakfast sandwich - I get sausage on a bagel with egg and cheddar, and it's really good. They use cafe Umbria, which is my favorite roaster, so that's a win for me. They make a great mocha, a great London fog, and the service is always good. Now that we have a little boy - who the owners love, and he loves them - we appreciate the lobby that's so easily accessible next door that he can run around in. The coffee shop itself is also very comfortable and always a relaxing place to sit and enjoy.“

“I just had their mocha, and a grilled cheese sandwich. I am a little bummed that none of their breakfast sandwiches are vegetarian, but that’s only a problem on Mondays. Service is a tad slow, so I wouldn’t suggest as a place to grab a coffee and go. The mocha was really yummy though. Next time I go, I might have to try their mudslide cold drink! 😋“

“Don't judge the book by its cover -- this place seems run down on the outside, but once you're inside it's the real deal. GREAT coffee. The baristas know what they are doing. If you're more of a tea person, their tea lattes are wonderful -- I had a chai latte and I'm so used to disappointing ones from most cafes. But this one was perfect, and actually "spiced" to perfection. One of the best I have had in town.
It's a very small space inside as well, but cozy. It can get crowded when busy, but its worth it even to just get your coffee to go and head somehwere else if you need to spread out. My new favorite cafe in the U district!“

“I’m from Chicago and out here for work. I’ve never really been picky when it comes to coffee.. Starbucks? Gas station? Home brewed? Eh.. cups a cup.. today I stopped in Down Pour on my way to the job and I will forever be in search of a coffee like this back home. Best cup of coffee I’ve ever had.“

“The Lavender Mocha was sublime. Period
The barista was lovely in both energy and appearance, but the energy of the room was a little stuffy. I was low key kinda uncomfortable until a lady came in with her kids and lightened the room considerably“

“Found this place on a whim with my wife. Quant and quiet with lots of character and flavor. I'm a cold Brew snob and the Hoppy Easter was unique in its flavor combination and was a winner in my book. My wife has some food allergies and the Barista was very accommodating and willing to grab packages for my wife to read. Not from around here, but if we are in the area, we know exactly where to come back to!“

“Stopped here on my way to work downtown when I needed somewhere open early and with a good mix of options.
They did not do pour over, but they did have a medium and a light roast option for their drip coffee.
So if you want delicious, fresh light roast, you can get it here if you show up early in the morning.
The space is beautiful and peaceful inside, and their maps / sources of coffee up on the wall are a lovely illustration of how global coffee is (and how ethical it can be).“

“Great coffee spot in Wallingford! I got the coconut coffee with and sesame latte less sweetness, and both were AMAZING. The sesame cream is rich and flavorful, no wonder it is their most popular drink. The coconut coffee was so fresh and unique and I instantly fell in love. Remember to go with less sugar for better flavor. Highly recommend!“
