Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind as well. The kitty-themed drinks and kitty macaroons are all delicious too! And the cat-inspired decorations—even in the restrooms—are wonderful! While I was mentally prepared for a pastry, my brain and taste buds quickly adjusted to the unique Japanese inspired dinner foods. Every bite was delicious. “My wife and I came here for the first time years ago and it quickly became our favorite coffee shop in the area - we are now regulars! I recommend the sandwiches. They are unassuming on the menu - I assumed they were simple cold-case sandwiches, which I tend to avoid - but was so impressed when we tried them one day and discovered they're fresh-made, warmed and full of great ingredients, pestos and tomatoes and whatnot. I get the Med Chicken pretty regularly now. They also have a really great breakfast sandwich - I get sausage on a bagel with egg and cheddar, and it's really good. They use cafe Umbria, which is my favorite roaster, so that's a win for me. They make a great mocha, a great London fog, and the service is always good. Now that we have a little boy - who the owners love, and he loves them - we appreciate the lobby that's so easily accessible next door that he can run around in. The coffee shop itself is also very comfortable and always a relaxing place to sit and enjoy.“

“I went to Coby's for the first time a few days ago for a punch needle class for a doggie portrait. I had the best time! The teacher was great. It was satisfying punching the needle into the frame. It was easy and it is very forgiving if you goof to pull out the yarn, a lot easier than sewing. I was able to resume it at home watching TV. I think I will use my new skill to make some gifts. I smiled so much watching all the cute dogs running around. They have a cafe next door that you can place orders through a qr code. I had a delicious matcha latte with oat milk. Check it out!“

While not made on site, the breakfast sandwiches are reallly good, and they have one of the best breakfast sandwich-coffee specials in the city. If you're in need of lunch, I wish they had more fresh options, but I get the challenge of cost for a small business. Plenty of very good pastries, and a limited selection of pre-wrapped sandwiches.
