“Great place for sushi! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the sushi is excellent. Love the rainbow rolls and the amount of food you get. The seating area is a little narrow so it might be difficult for larger groups.
I had to give 4 stars because the spicy mayo is heavy 6 the mayo side and light on the spicy side, it still tastes delicious regardless. It can be spendy if you order a lot. My husband and I ordered 5 items and it was $100 with tip.
Overall go there if you want good sushi!“

“My brother a seasoned sushi eater. Who also loves anime and ninjas. Said this place is the second best sushi place ever. I think it is the first. I brought a girl here on a date and got laid that night. So I would say best sushi spot in town.“

“The food is great, the staff are extremely nice, the service is amazing. Overall 10 out of 10. And the ramen is really good! As someone who doesn't go out to eat often and going there for the first time, I would go again if I had another chance to go.“

“Absolutely delicious and super fresh ingredients. I would be in trouble if I lived closer. I had a seared salmon roll that I'll be dreaming about until I come back. This might be the best sushi I've had in the Pacific Northwest so far!!“

“It was way past our usual lunch time. We were hungry. As we approached Troutdale I Googled restaurants nearby. Lots of chains and burger places. Siam Sushi promised something different. We went in. It’s a mom and pop restaurant. We had a delightful lunch. Edamame, Pad Thai with tofu, shrimp and vegetable tempura. All excellent.“

“It seems more expensive than other places but when you see how big the rolls are it will make sense. The sushi tastes amazing! I’ve tried a few other sushi places in Vancouver but this is by far the best tasting. We usually order takeout but I’ve seen the inside of the restaurant and it’s very simple but clean. Not super fancy or romantic but the lighting is low in the evening and it could be perfectly fine for date night. 5 stars and the yakisoba is yummy too because my kids don’t like sushi. Spent about $100 for a family of 4 with plenty of leftovers for the next day.“

“I’ve been coming to Joy Teriyaki in Gresham for years, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, and the portions are super generous. I usually order the lunch bowl, which comes in what looks like a small to-go container, but somehow, it’s like Hermione’s bag—they fit an unbelievable amount of food in there. I still think it’s sorcery! The girl who often runs things during lunchtime is always so friendly and welcoming—she greets you with a bright smile that makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!“

“I was in here very briefly for a quick ichi roll today and it was great! It was just me coming at a slow time so they sat me very quickly. I got my roll very quickly too!
I decided on the ichi roll, and it is the best I’ve had! I didn’t get the peanuts on top, but it was so good I didn’t even ask about it being missing. They were very kind and I’m sure if I brought it up to them they would have provided it.“

“FAIRLY GOOD FOODStopped by here after a water polo game to have supper with my daughter. The karaage salad was good, but the chicken is garden variety popcorn chicken. It does not taste like it’s been marinated in soy sake and does not have the proper karaage fry.The agedashi tofu was perfect!“

“We haven't even left this restaurant yet... I had to jump on here and praise this wonderful lady and her amazing food. Their salad dressing is made in house and their teriyaki chicken is astounding. This is the closest food I've found to Oahu, HI teriyaki!“

“Love the pork bowl teriyaki! It’s so delicious I forgot to take a picture. Lots of meat and the sauce is perfect. If you need extra sauce they got you covered. Always such a treat when we get to eat here. I ve also tried the chicken teriyaki and spicy chicken, but my favorite is certainly the pork. Definitely recommend. Also keep in mind all locations are the same. This location has not disappointed me or my family.
Parking: Lots of space

“Small diner, HUGE taste! Never have I ever had a better bowl of ramen! Very fast and friendly service. They take the very best of home-made and fast-food and somehow make the best of both worlds. Very full bowls, my wife was almost done when I took the picture“

“This is our favorite Ichi location in Vancouver. We usually call in a to-go order, which is convenient, and the service is prompt. The portions are worth the price and taste authentic.Pictured below is my favorite, spicy chicken breast teriyaki with onions, red bell peppers, mushrooms, and green onions. The entree is also served with plenty of steamed white rice, a side of teriyaki sauce, and a salad with signature dressing. You can request chili sauce on the side as well. This location is part of the Heritage shopping center, always has parking, and helpful staff.“

“We love coming in after work for soju and some sushi. LOVE the owners- they are so sweet and we love supporting them. Great, basic sushi, good selection of sake/soju/beer/wine and awesome service. Clean, convenient, and a great place to hang out. 10/10“

“These place is legit. We got the teriyaki chicken and chicken yakisoba. We paid $28 total and the potion is very generous. It’s enough food for 4 people to split. The chicken is well seasoned and charred, the rice is perfectly cooked.my only feedback is the yakisoba noodles is a bit sticky this time. Overall all I highly recommend this place.“

“First time here and I am very impressed. I got pot stickers, beef teriyaki with rice (i don't remember official name of this dish), and it came with a side of miso soup. It all tasted wonderful and the individual serving us was on top of all the details. We were the last customer's of the evening and the only customer's in the establishment. Service was swift. The only thing I could critique is the water. But frankly, it's restaurant water. I can only be so picky. Ultimately, a wonderful experience all around. Will definitely be back.“

“I don't really like visiting here because of neighbor hood . Located near Homeless Camps and allot of Apartments . So people have easy access . I have seen fights there , car wrecks , drug deals , dogs get hit by cars . Tents across the street . Bad location for friendly nice people . I think the food is not really cooked properly and the drinks taste not so good . The workers or owners are not so helpful.“

“We have been frequenting this spot for a few years now. Never disappointed with the quality. Our go to is the chicken yakisoba and teriyaki chicken plate. We almost always get the gyoza.Never failed us with freshness and flavor, super filling and value for the price. I can always make 2 meals out of the yakisoba.“

“We ordered dinner through Door Dash from them last night and I wanted to leave a review to help others find this gem. While I obviously can't speak to atmosphere since this was delivery, I can say that the food was outstanding! I had the pork teriyaki which was well cooked and the portion size was quite good for the price. My husband got the beef yakisoba and he just raved about it (after he picked all the broccoli out of it) and said that this is the best yakisoba he's ever had. The portion size on the yakisoba was huge, a great value for the price. Someone with a normal appetite could easily get 2 meals out of the one order so when my husband who has a gargantuan appetite had some left over I was shocked. We'll definitely be ordering from them again and hope to get the chance to visit in person next time. We need to support these small mom and pop places over the chain teriyaki places (you know who I'm talking about) as much as we can so they stay in business!“

“First time here and I tried the tofu plate. Very tasty, but way too much food for me. Seriously, this was easily 3 servings. I’m also a big fan of the flower soup. My husband had the sweet and sour chicken. The salad was fresh and I really liked the dressing.

“probably the best sushi in Portland as far as I'm concerned. My brother and I biked 14 miles in the morning so this was our lunch stop. It so it was yummy and filling and gave us that afternoon boost to bike back home to DT Portland. We came from the Johnson Trail and it's right off the bike path and it's a great destination for bicyclists who need that pick me up lunch before they start again for the afternoon ride. Their new sushi item the TNT was outstanding, Spicy Goyza awesome just enough spice, but not too spicy, and we got plain Edemamee. The place is inside the Oriental Market. Once you enter the market, the restaurant is on your left. It comes across as an unassuming little restaurant and I was blown away by the quality of the ingredients. I'm trying for a bike tour and I would came back again for that lunch fillup as part of my training. Plus if you are looking for yummy snacks for your bike trip, this is the place to go. The Market carries Asian snacks and desserts some are individually packaged for easy storage on your bike bag. Some snacks have no added sugar too. We bought the Puff Cakes and Banana Bread and they were sooooooo good. So it was a 2 for 1. Get your lunch at Delish Kitchen and then get your snacks to resume your afternoon bike ride.
Parking: open spaces 1st come 1st serve. Plenty of spots.
Wheelchair accessibility: to get into the store it's automatic doors that open and it's all on the 1st floor. easy access for wheel chair users. Plenty of space in the restaurant area to move around if you do have a chair. Maybe you might need to ask to move a chair so you can wheel in. Staff was really professional and friendly. I'm sure they will help.“

“The sushi is pretty fresh and tasty, and there’s a great variety! I also like how all of their sushi is not slathered in spicy mayo like most rotary sushi places I’ve been.
Definitely going to be my go-to spots when I’m craving for some quick sushi. Overall, great food, casual clean vibes, and just a great place to eat. 100/10!“

“Sushi Zen is hands down the best sushi in town! The atmosphere is perfect for a sake night, and the prices are more reasonable compared to other places. I love that you can order half rolls to try different flavors! They have best sake collection and as someone who enjoys sushi and has tried many spots in town, this one is by far the best. The service is always friendly, and the staff is so welcoming every time I visit. It's a great spot for date nights or casual gatherings. They even have a sushi rail, which is super fun to watch and grab dishes from. Highly recommend it, but be sure to arrive early as it fills up quickly!“

“I've been to this food truck park a few times and for some reason I never ate at this particular truck, but today was the day! Now I'm mad that I didn't try it sooner. The chicken was so tender and cooked to perfection along with the veggies. I'll probably go back and try something else tomorrow.“
