“I love everything about this café! The selection is amazing and the drinks + bites are crafted with quality ingredients. I tried the gloomy matcha, the nutty cloud, and the house cake with cheese—all exceeded my expectations!
We entered the café at 8:10AM on a Sunday (a little after opening) and there were already several customers. Service is excellent and so is the minimalistic ambiance! I will most definitely be back ☺️ ?“

“I got the 12 oz Coffeeholic Dream, and I really enjoyed the flavor. The reason why I’m giving 5 stars is because of Molly, whom I had a great conversation with about Seattle. I recently moved here, and Molly gave me wonderful recommendations for rainy weather gear. I appreciate meeting nice and kind people in Seattle.“

“We absolutely loved Meowtropolitan! If you’re in the Seattle area and you love cats and coffee, don’t miss this treasure! The drinks were very tasty, and the cats were very friendly and obviously well cared for. I would go back in a heartfelt if I find myself in the area again.“

“We went for Sunday morning brunch and had an almond latte with a Nutella banana crepe. The latte was really good, and we enjoyed the café’s atmosphere. However, seating is limited—it’s crowded, with hardly any space to sit and relax.“

“Kind of expensive but totally worth it. The froth on the hot drinks is my favorite. Lasts a lot time as you drink it and makes me happy (: good, spaced out atmosphere (plenty of seating).

“If you love and crave amazing coffee, this is your crack dealer!!! It’s sooooo good. These people are the best of Seattle! Friendly, cool, great product and service. Went back repeatedly! Located at the bottom of the driveway at Pike Place Market! They have water for your dog too! See? Full service!“

“The baristas here have finally won my heart. I was once a Diva regular, but since I lost my daughter to suicide I couldn't bear to go. We then switched to Lighthouse, which is closer, and has great coffee, but it always felt distant. The other day I ended up spilling to the "crow tat" guy. He's a no nonsense fella who remembers people and drinks, but says little. Today I went and he bought my coffee. Actions, not words. I can respect that.“

“An oasis in the desert… I have monthly commutes to UW Medicine North from Bainbridge and have been looking for a place to stop when I’m early, or afterwards when I need something to get me home. Great vibes, super coffee and comfortable, clean seating. Yay!“

“If you’re in Seattle and craving something cozy and delicious, The Crumpet Shop is a must-visit! Tucked away near Pike Place Market, this charming spot serves some of the best crumpets you’ll ever have, freshly baked and topped with a variety of sweet and savory options.
I tried the classic butter and honey crumpet, and it was simply perfect—warm, slightly crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. The flavors melted together beautifully. They also offer unique toppings like pesto, smoked salmon, and cheese, which bring a delightful twist to the traditional crumpet. Every bite feels like comfort food at its finest.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. It’s a small shop with limited seating, so it can get crowded, but that just adds to the charm. Plus, the food is well worth the wait.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting, The Crumpet Shop is a little gem that shouldn’t be missed. It’s a delicious way to start your day or enjoy a midday treat, and you’ll probably find yourself wanting to come back for more!“

“On a recent visit, the seasonal coffee drink infused with a ginger tincture was a high standout... Refreshing, a good tonic for the stomach as well.
The baked goods are always solid and I am grateful for the small selection of sandwiches they have on hand.
Parking is difficult - Street parking is quite scarce.“

“So great and so cute for working. Food and coffee is great, and they have açai bowls and avocado toast if you wanted something a little healthier. There is also available parking nearby. The barista was so cute - he said “I’m sorry I’m still working on my latte art but I promise it tastes delicious. I tried to make a heart and there a bubble here, and a bubble there” ?“

“One of the best lattes I have ever had came from the walk up window of this tiny coffee shop around the corner from many hotels in downtown Seattle. Spouse’s maple cinnamon cappuccino was *divine*. What made me laugh every time however was this pricing sheet for directions (see photo). Highly recommend!“

“I was on a food tour with Lucky this was our meeting place. When we started the tour I had a lavender iced tea which was delicious. After our tour was over we had an opportunity to speak with Erin the owner who explained Indi’s story to us. Erin was fantastic and explained their chocolate and teas with our group. We sampled the Indi chocolate chip cookies which was one of the best I have ever had. I purchased a few cookies that day. Well the cookies were so amazing I actually made a special trip back to the store prior to heading to the airport. I can’t wait to mail order my next batch of Indi cookies! 10 out of 10! This is a place that you don’t want to miss if you are in Seattle or order the cookies online! Thanks Erin for your hospitality!“

“This is a lovely little shop with good service. Their mocha is just the right amount of flavoring without overpowering the coffee.
I do wish they had a bit more outdoor seating, including a table upon which one could work. However, inside, they have ample seating with seemingly power plugs at every seat. I am here on a Thursday morning and there is plenty of seating available for anyone who needs it“

“In love with their coffee - iced and hot latte ? A cozy little coffeeshop, with a decent amount of sitting space, I didn’t try to work here but I saw people in their laptops, so I’m assuming it is focused-work friendly.
Coffee was another level! Got a regular iced latte and a hot latte. An absolute yes!“

“Whether you're a Starbucks fan or not, this is quite the interesting coffee shop. No, this is not the original Starbucks. However, you will find items that can't be found anywhere else, like their expresso martini flights. Yes, that's Vodka martinis at a Starbucks - among other cocktails served at the bar. You will also find a full bakery, merchandise particular to the reserve, and even the ability to participate in experiences and tours. The merchandise can be a little pricey but it wouldn't be found anywhere else.“

“I truly believe every neighborhood has a special place that turns the neighborhood from a location to a community. I found a Muddy Cup when I was lost, and it quickly became my haven, my bastion of community, and some days, the only place that felt like home.
I have met friends, lovers, enemies, and so so so many dogs.
The kind staff everyone speaks of are the owners. They run their business as ethically as humanly possible. They're there every single day of the week to provide you with the best damn coffee in the area. And when I say the area, I mean the pacific north west. I think the only technically superior coffee might be Beware coffee in Tacoma, but those dudes are huge coffee science nerds and in the delivery of technically perfect coffee, they lose a lot of the humanity A Muddy Cup provides.
Look, if you're still reading this: go. go to a Muddy Cup. it's quaint, it's kitschy, it's nothing at all like Starbucks, outside of the consistency of product. Except this product is chosen and roasted in house weekly and the people there actually care about your well being.
Order a match latte, it's not on the menu and it's the best I've ever had in my life.“

“Boon Boona Coffee is a delightful gem for coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike, nestled in the heart of its vibrant community. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the rich aromas of freshly brewed coffee and the warm, inviting decor that showcases its commitment to both quality and culture.
The cappuccino at Boon Boona is a standout, skillfully crafted to provide the perfect balance of bold espresso and velvety microfoam. Each cup is a testament to the baristas' dedication to excellence, using high-quality beans sourced directly from East Africa. The result is a perfectly creamy texture that complements the robust flavor profile without overwhelming the palate. The nuanced notes of chocolate and berry shine through, creating a truly memorable drinking experience.
Moreover, the atmosphere encourages you to linger—whether you're catching up with friends or diving into a good book. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to recommend their latest seasonal creations or assist you in finding your new favorite brew. Boon Boona Coffee isn’t just a place to grab a quick caffeine fix; it’s an experience that celebrates the art of coffee in every sip. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this exceptional café!“

“I really love getting to come to fresh flowers, taking a peaceful walk to enjoy a really nice coffee. I love their drip, and their decaf is always dialed in. I usually have a friendly experience but there’s one employee (with glasses) that really sours my experience, I’ve seen her here a number of times, but last week I came in and the energy was clearly off so I didn’t really want to spend my time there. She scowled at me, clearly upset I was leaving. I’m a barista myself so I understand this experience can be uncomfortable but I would never expect to be treated so poorly. I’ll be back but it puts me on edge EVERYTIME I make the decision to go, wondering if she’ll be there or not.“

“Always love getting work done here in the afternoons and on weekends. Pastries are a bit pricey and options can be lean by the end of the day, but in the mornings there's generally a pretty big selection. I almost always get some sort of steamer (I'm not a coffee person) and they have a ton of different syrup flavors. If you want your drink or pastry "for here", you have to ask for it; to-go is their default, which can make a lot of waste.
My computer doesn't stay connected to their internet/wifi for some reason, but sitting inside gets a stronger connection. You can also usually find an outlet to plug into inside.
It's pretty low-volume inside with a little music and coffee-brewing noise. This is definitely a place where you could come to do work collaboratively. Their outdoor seating is my favorite, but they are located right next to some industrial buildings, one of which has a fan blowing nonstop. That can get loud -- fine for working with headphones, but hard for conversation.
Overall, a great study spot with pretty good drinks and nice ambience.“

“Nice little bakery/cafe north of the green lake area. There's a good amount of parking available on the street and in the surrounding neighborhoods. I got the coconut oat cookie and blueberry muffin, both were pretty good. They've got a lot of options to choose from and prices are pretty good as well. And they have two sticker options if you're interested in that.“
“This is a wonderful place, it feels so much like stepping back in history with so many stories and lives. The hotel is very well cared for with original details everywhere and as if no time has passed. The Tea House is so equally charming and connected, and lovely cafe/coffee house choices. All of the folks are wonderful, especially the owner - charming, and so many fascinating and meaningful stories across the years and generations. Will be coming back many times!!!“
