“Service staff was super friendly and food was excellent. It's a very quaint atmosphere but also, is a small space so be prepared to take your meal to go as it can get very busy here. This shop is located on the street level of 1st Ave but is accessible from the stair case leading up from the lower levels. I would absolutely eat here again!Parking: Walk here, don't drive. If you do drive be prepared to park in a garage and walk.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm sure you can get a wheelchair in here but I wouldn't bank on it.“
“Finally…! Best Cold Brew & Pour Over in Seattle!(Blossom: Ethiopia Guji & Prolog: Kenyan Kigari)Owners are warm, inviting, and respectful.Prefer a darker roast? Opt for an espresso w/ homemade cream.Delicious toast options. Highly recommend the Ricotta Tomato Toast. Quality healthy Avocado Toast.Seating fills up. A hotspot for college study sessions. Be prepared to wait or take to go.“
“Great quality coffee and consistency in the espresso based drinks. The macchiato comes with a palate cleanser which so far no other cafe i’ve been to has offered, so, neat. They also have a connected cafe which sells savory breakfast food which you should definitely check out.EDITThis is why I can only get cortados here. The baristas do not play.“
“One of my favorite coffee shops in the city.Absolutely in love with the peanut butter coffee (either hot or less ice) and the salty coffeeOthers I've tried and enjoyed are the sesame latte - nice toasty flavor, gloomy matcha - really well done matcha)The avocado coffee was unusual, with the avocado bringing a beautiful creaminess. should be tried once :)“
“This was a fun spur of the moment stop. I was in need of a drink and happened to stop by this location. Not only are the food and drinks authentic and unique, the store itself is such a gem. They have a partnership with an art collective that had some very cute art and pins for sale. I got a tea and spent some time enjoying the atmosphere reading a book. Would come back to! Staff was also super friendly.“
“When you see a place that's open 3 days a week for 2 hours per day, you have to be intrigued.Came here on a Thursday and got in line at 8:30am. Sat in a camping chair in the cold patiently waiting for some malasadas.Definitely worth it. I got one of each (lemon curd, strawberry, tiramisu, and chocolate hazelnut - listed in personal preference) with a brownie on the side. To go with my fresh doughnuts, I also ordered an oat-chata.Doughnuts were fresh and enjoyed on the spot. The oat-chata was fantastic and I would go back there just for another one. The brownie was a brownie, but figured I'd give it a try given the wait.Good vibes with the interior. Lovely staff. Would come back here again to sit in a chair to wait for a fresh doughnut.Dietary restrictions: No peanut products detected“
“Really enjoy the Vietnamese coffee here, especially their new vegan version since I won’t need to pop 5 lactaids ? This is my formal and official plea for them to bring back their old cups!!!!!Coffeeholic isnt coffeeholic without their signature cups, the normal ones are meh and doesn’t keep the drink as cold.“
“This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend. The owner is absolutely amazing, so incredibly kind & friendly, & makes amazing food & coffees. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You’ll be taken care of here & all w the view of the space needle. ??“
“How do I give more than 5 stars? From the moment you step in the dedication & love of the space is beautifully on display with the wonderful indiginous art, cookbooks, & coffee beans proudly presented during your short wait to order. The menu presents wonderful options with many gluten free & dairy free items that I can attest as somebody who doesn't even need them are some of the best tasting things you can get anywhere, period. Special shout out to their spiced muffins that have berries that must be fresh picked, tasting near identical to the kind of stuff I would make at home as a kid living in the woods outside the city. There are the staple coffee options along with some unique concoctions, & everything costs less than other cafés in the city. If you get your coffee to sit in you will not regret it as they serve it in the most beautiful unique mugs. The decoration only becomes better once you sit down, with wonderfully refined wood tables & ample art in every direction, this is a place you will want to spend good time in.Come here now, taste & support the real Seattle, the real siʔaɫ.Vegetarian options: A wonderful stop for vegetarians & pescatarians, this menu has so many good options!Dietary restrictions: Amazing Gluten Free & Dairy Free options that taste amazing, even to those who regularly have gluten & dairy“
“The lychee lemongrass green tea with boba was pretty good. The boba was fresh too. Unfortunately they were out of all their food except their turkey and I'm a vegetarian so I wasn't able to try the food. The staff were fine, though seemed unsure of how to respond to the houseless individual pacing about the front of the store between various tables for about 30 minutes or more. He seemed distressed and was also disrupting others. Perhaps more support for the staff in this regard would be helpful. Other than that the ambiance was very peaceful and it made a good place to read or study. The lack of bathroom even for customers did seem somewhat strange though. I might come back in the future and hopefully try the food.“
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.“
“This is my new favorite shop in town. The staff are really knowledgeable.... thoughtfully advising me on how to dial in espresso shots for the beans I take home. Everyone is friendly, easy to talk to, and they remember what you like... but no one is trying too hard. The coffee is as good as I've had anywhere, across the board...even decaf! The shop may not be in an area where you regularly stroll, but it's absolutely worth going slightly out of the way“
“Probably the best coffee and café food on the Ave, and infinitely more drinkable than wherever your TA or professor are trying to meet. They do leave the door open, so it can get incredibly drafty on the cool days. It's a small shop that needs its tables, so they're pretty strict on not camping for laptop users. That gives it a good vibe (when it isn't chilly).I'm usually a drip person, but they do the cute latte art. Like the really cute latte art.Wheelchair accessibility: The seating area is packed very tightly, which may make it difficult to access for more than takeaway.“
“I discovered this place thanks to TGTG but it quickly became one of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood! They offer great variety of delicious pastries, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to sit down to enjoy your coffee with a delicious pastry!“
“It's my first time buying here. I am Venezuelan and I have wanted to try these donuts for a long time. I bought the one with guava cheese and 3 milks. Very rich! The only thing is that I didn't like the chocolate base on the 3 leches donut. But I did want to come back and try others on the menu. The hours are a little complicated but I was lucky enough to walk around the area early and visit the store :)“
“Food is good. Online ordering/payment system is NOT GOOD. Here’s why:-It says 5-10 minutes for pickup but then when you go to check out the earliest time you can choose is 25-30 min-You have to sign up for a “Joe” account-The default payment option is to hook up a bank account…who does this to pay for a sandwich?-The tip selection is BROKEN! I entered 2.00 for the tip. Good think I double-checked because the webpage entered $52!!! It might have taken 200% instead of $2.Anyway, this online ordering system really made me frustrated and took away from the food experience. The sandwiches and burritos are great though.“
“Needed a quick breakfast and stumbled upon this cafe, it was just what I needed. Cool vibe, friendly staff and quick service.I got the basic breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, rye toast and sausage. The texture of some eggs can throw me off, but these were perfect.“
“A favorite spot to stop at when biking around Lake Washington. Not just great Ethiopian coffee, but friendly and love Winnie's home made Sambusas. Generally not crowded. Some soft jazz playing in background. Easy to hold a conversation. Definitely not a mega chain. It's just Winnie's and she's usually behind the counter ...“
“Stopped in on a Saturday late morning - there was a line, but it moved fast and there were seats available. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast sandos and took some treats home. Everything was delicious, our sandwiches came up quickly & piping hot. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back!“
“It’s a cute little cafe with a nice outdoor patio where I’ve had the most fun hanging with my vegan friends listening to talented Jazz musicians and poets and artists of every kind! The drinks are delicious, the sandwiches are hot and melty, and they are gracious enough to allow us to reserve the space for birthdays & small get togethers as well! ❤️It’s run by really rad folks!“
“It’s my second time coming here and I am once again impressed. The music here has been different each time but it hits. Where else can you get craft cocktails, fresh sushi and feel at home and in a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you Thaleia for being attentive and friendly!“
“We ordered mocha, matcha latte, almond croissant and cinnamon roll croissant. Everything was amazing especially the bakery. The almond croissant was the best I've ever had, very nutty, hint of marzipan and the crust was perfect! Besides, the cashier was really nice and friendly, very helpful and the store was super chic and well decorated.“
“A small cafe which you order at the window.Right outside of the bubblegum wall. The menu is there but they have more than what they offer on the menu. Do not shy to ask for other drinks. The coffee is not bad, give it a try when you are there.“
“Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich with ham. The bread is so soft in the best way and the filling is so flavorful. I especially like the thin slices of pickled radishes. I have not had a sandwich like it and I keep catching myself thinking about it. The side salad is also good—refreshing and crisp!(Did not had the mushroom toast but friend says it’s amazing.)“
“3.5 for the crepes, rounded up for the tasty Mexican mocha. Solid crepes and nice cafe ambiance, I came here with a party of 3 on a weekend afternoon and this spot had a homey, chill vibe, seemed like a good spot to grab coffee and crepes and catch up on some work or have a catchup with a few friends. For food offerings they have a variety of savory and sweet options, with a bit of a Mexican/Latin American lean (pls correct me if this isn't the right ethnic influence tho!). Tried the savory Hawaiian crepe $13.99 and sweet Gansito crepe $12.98-both were good and came with a decent portion. I should've probably inferred from the ingredients --the Gansito crepe was on the sweet side for me, with both nutella and the strawberry jelly filling, I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The Mexican mocha was terrific! Just the right balance of bitter, spice and sweet, I'd certainly come back for this. I didn't have a whole lot of interaction with the staff, they seemed nice tho!“
“we stumbled upon this filipino cafe while walking around chinatown. the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot.first, such cute decor and nice lighting. we were greeted warmly by the cashier and i knew this would immediately be great. sadly they ran out of decaf, but i'm willing to compromise for getting the dangerously delicious ube latte.no idea how they got such a stunning color, but damn it was addicting to look at and to drink.“
“We absolutely adored this amazing coffee shop. The staff are amazing artists who prepare a great cup of coffee and an experience. We were only in Seattle for a short time but it was by far our favorite coffee in the city. This is a Latin owned business and the special family recipe flavors are incredible.“
“Meowca iced latte was super tasty, must try! My girlfriend and I also got the cherry clawsom catte with strawberry and it was also really good with a unique taste, almost like a boba but coffee!!Cats were super chill and there were a ton of them!! You’ll definitely have a great time here!!“
“I came here with my boyfriend expecting it to be good. It exceeded expectations though. We wanted a cold brew, but they did not have it. We got an iced coffee instead. Normally I don’t like iced coffee because it tends to tastes burnt. This was delicious and smooth like a cold brew though. The staff were chill too. I highly recommend it.“
“The cafe Nico is good, it's their original house coffee drink and it's subtly sweet and tasty. The scone was ok, at best. The staff are very nice and attentive and the place feels iconic and unique. There's no doubt why this is a Seattle must for coffee.“
“Monorail is my #1 recommendation for folks visiting Seattle, and my go-to when I'm in town. There are just enough locations downtown to be close to a spot, and their new location next to the Summit Convention Center building makes it an even easier endorsement. The coffee is smooth, from a single cappuccino, a traditional macchiato or a really indulgent mocha their roasting and preparation shines through. Really. Smooth. Coffee.Cookies and scones are also delicious, with their cookies being a great choice. Almost scone-like in shape, they are an "almost-dough" cookie with a nice amount of chocolate chips.Great place, highly recommended.“
“I was looking for a warm and cozy coffee shop to get out of the rain last week in Seattle. I came across Basecamp and I'm really glad I did. I think it's one of my favorite coffee shops from an atmosphere standpoint with warm woods, cozy furniture, and all the ski gear around you makes you feel like you're sitting in a ski Lodge. It's so nice to have a place that isn't an ultra modern coffee shop, which can be very cold in their white and gray minimalistic designs. The staff was super friendly. I enjoyed a chai latte with oat milk and thought it was delicious. Try it out!“
“I've been here twice and in those two visits I've had friendly knowledgeable welcoming greetings from the staff. Bakery atmosphere is soft and relaxing, clean and organized. The bakery has the most amazing treats fresh baked in-house.Frittata is delicious, although I believe it's seasonal.Recommend 10/10!“
“Amazing service and ambiance every time I come in. I ordered the dirty chai latte one time and now I order it every time. The employees here are so friendly and if you are sitting to study or chat with friends in this cafe, they deliver your coffee directly to your table! There is always seating when I come in on a weekday afternoon to get work done. Next time I want to come earlier to try out some pastries!“
“Really good breakfast croissants and the pop N tarts are delicious. It’s not overly sweet and the guava is seriously so good. I like ordering it with a chai, the spice pairs well. The drinks are well made. The matcha is a bit too sweet for my tastes but the texture is good. Sometimes I’ll get a tea latte with a matcha tea bag for when I really want something that’s not sweet.Atmosphere is pretty chill but also lively. Everyone is easy going and friendly with good vibes, there’s a sense of community that I really dig. The music is upbeat without being overbearing and it’s motivating to listen to while writing or working.“
“I've been coming here a few times a week for a couple years now. Some of my favorite coffee on the hill and definitely my favorite selection of treats. They offer savory and sweet options which is a must for me. Any of their tropical flavored donuts are amazing but my favorite right now has to be their incredible mochi donuts(way better than the chain ones in my opinion). The employees are very sweet and make an effort to remember you if you come in regularly. Can't recommend it enough!“
“There are two Storyvilles in SeattleThis is the branch located on the second floor of Pike Place MarketGreat light pours into the interiorA cup of latte costs US$9.37 (nearly NT$300) which is higher than the average, but the portion is good, it’s a super large cup size! You won’t be able to drink it all (a great deal! The cinnamon rolls are so delicious! Very crispy! (but a little sweet)You can also add syrup~it’s already delicious without adding it!Highly recommended!“
“It’s the starting point of the underground donut tour. Donuts are decent, but the atmosphere is why I’d come back. There is plenty of sitting and a Teo story window. The mezzanine has a lot of people working.I was gonna add a picture of the donuts, but ate them already ?“
“That’s the only place that we found the real hot chocolate. They offer melted hot chocolate, not the powder one. Additionally, they have some items that you can wear to take some selfies. It’s a fun place to spend some time and enjoy the real hot choco :)“
“Extremely friendly service and absolutely delicious food. The waffles are fresh made and you can’t go wrong with a breakfast sandwich made out of two of them.Parking: Small lot for the shopping complex so you may have to resort to street parking.“
“This is our go-to coffee shop in the area and we come in almost every other day. The coffee that’s roasted in house is top-notch. We’ve ordered several different things (black coffee, cappuccinos, cortados, lattes, decaf, etc) and realized you can’t really go wrong with anything here, including the baked goods. Service is great too- we always seem to run into the same three workers behind the counter, and all have been great. The lines can get pretty long, especially on the weekends. You can even run into a decent sized line on weekdays, but at least the lines usually move pretty fast. Overall, highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area- you won’t be disappointed!“
“Incredible place to check out. One of those things that you only need to do once. Amazing food and coffee.Only thing I’ll mention is the lines and crowds are horrendous. So make sure you plan for that in advance.Definitely worth a quick stop.“
“This review is long overdue! A perfect place to work for the afternoon, grab a coffee, healthy lunch or drinks after work. I love that the curated menu switches up occasionally with the seasons. Bustling, creative vibes, but always a place to sit and cozy up either for a quick touch down or a longer "WFH" type moment- it's set up really well for remote working with power and laptop tables sprinkled throughout. The music is also always amazing, and above all, the people here are great. Super friendly and down to earth service. I'm not surprised to see five star reviews, it's truly a hidden gem in an area of town that really needed something like this!“
“THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER! and that's on period! I went with a group of friends today after we visited Oregon and have been craving for a treat, this place has been on top of my list and it was definitely worth it!?: 10/10. I got the banana pudding and the lemon chessecake flavors! (I mis-read it as bunna pudinna) The ice cream are very silky, dense and rich! The banana pudding reminds me of a nice banana frappucino with banana pieces in it!! And they are not too sweet at all!???10/10. Shout out to the owner who gave us the free cookies!!! She is so sweet, kind and patient, and gave us a lot of suggestions and allows us to sample many flavors! Their service definitely stands out from all the ice cream places that I have ever been to!?7/10. A lot of nice plants and cute decors, really nice and clean. I just wish they are located in a nerighborhood that are more convenient and nice! Looking forward to your next location in Seattle!“
“Cool place - good drinks and pastry options.Lots of seating (mostly inside, with a few tables out front). There are range of seats that do have plugs nearby & are comfy.Ordered their specialty drink - iced matcha & blueberry with oat milk (great flavor).Strawberry scone was good, would try other items next visit.“
“This place was amazing, I popped in after dropping my dog at daycare and the service was amazing. They greeted me as soon as I opened the door and pointed me to the menu. They made my bagel sandwich to order which was amazing and they even asked if I liked hot things and added hot sauce to my bagel, delicious!! So affordable. I'll definitely be back:)“
“This might be the greatest shop on Earth. Chocolate, cheese, wine, coffee, AND VINYL LPs!!! ALL. IN. THE. SAME. PLACE. The barista (may have been the owner) served us incredible drinking chocolate, and brought out free samples of artisan cheeses (which we ended up buying, YUM) while we were sipping. The ambiance is friendly & reserved, it's pleasant inside, and if you're into drinking chocolate, YOU MUST GO HERE. They do it up right. We spent a chunk of money on an Uber ride from downtown Seattle, and are so glad we did. We will be back next time we visit the area. Y'all are so lucky to have this gem in your neighborhood! HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!“
“This is a great place for coffee, treats and most importantly you are helping to support young adults who are experiencing homelessness. What a great place to give back to those doing through a hard time. The staff is amazing and committed to helping so many young people get jobs, housing, ect. Love their mission! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.“
“The best breakfast bagel sandwiches I've ever had! Highly recommend the jalapeño bagel with sausage (add herb and garlic cream cheese spread). I love their wide selection of flavored red bulls and quick service. If you're looking for something new definitely check out this place!“
“I come in once a week or so and am always happy with the experience. I feel good supporting this local business as it came from a great cause and has a nice story. I’m always treated well by staff and appreciate the warm and inviting vibe this shop has. There is good energy here. The other patrons are always kind, friendly and respectful. All the food I’ve tried has been delicious and high quality. All the beverages I’ve tried has also been great and I regularly drink the drip, espresso and latte drinks. I get a lot of work done here and this is a focused environment but also keep in mind that during peak times it’s a popular hangout and business meeting place so it will get much louder but that is short lived. Generally the volume is not too bad and does not disturb others either. I happy and will keep coming back! There is ample parking and the bathrooms are clean and accessible. Thanks Queen Bee!“
