“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!“

“Sushi Today is amazing. I used Grubhub to order from them, which was a mistake. Long story short, I never got my food. One of the team members called me to see if I got my food which I said no and they were so kind and gracious, they told me exactly what to do with GrubHub so that I could get my order.

I had my order within 10/15 minutes of that phone call. There was a sweet apology note which was completely unneeded. And most importantly their food was so good so delicious I will be back and I will be ordering directly from their restaurant.“

“I used to come here almost every day when I worked across the river bridge in Fife, I would come when they had the two old guys back in the mid 2010's and their sushi is the greatest sushi in the world. “I visited this restaurant with my family and we had such an amazing experience. We ordered the Kent Roll, the Chili Wave Roll, and the Dragon Roll, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. We also tried the beef bulgogi and tteokbokki, and they were honestly the best I have ever had. The beef was perfectly marinated and tender, and the tteokbokki had just the right amount of spice and richness. On top of the delicious food, the portions were very generous, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the entire restaurant was spotless and inviting. This place truly feels like a hidden gem in Kent, and I am so glad we found it. I will definitely be coming back with my family again!“

The Gyoza was absolutely delicious and crispy
White rice was fluffy and the chicken + sauce was impeccable. i almost wanted to douse the whole thing of rice with sauce because it tasted so good. will definitely be coming back for lunch“

“I've been to many sushi places in the Tacoma/Seattle area and Fujiya certainly stands out as one the best. I can really only speak to the nigiri, but it is always fresh, melt in your mouth tender and generous slices of fish. So good! I want to go back just talking about it!“

Food is very fresh, tasty and big portions.
The price is fair and great if you consider the portion size.
It's very clean and bright inside and there are 2 big screen tvs playing sports if that's some thing your into while having a great lunch or dinner.
The Sushi rolls are 2 for 24.99 as of 12-20-2025 and 1 could pass for dinner if it's just you.
If you order lunch or dinner plate and a Sushi roll you should have plenty leftover for a small lunch the next day.
Definitely try this place out it has plenty of different dishes and Sushi rolls to try.“

I didn’t order the combos on purpose but who knew the Japanese food and Chinese food complimented each other very well. Talking about a great service, my wife order the sesame balls for a dessert. 2 of 5 were a bit under cooked somehow. We broke them a part but didn’t eat them. One other staffs walked by and asked if we didn’t like. My wife told her those 2 seemed like they are not full cooked so we didn’t want to eat them but we are okayed. She then insisted that she asked the chef to make a fresh batch of 5 for us. This time they were perfectly cooked. I was impressed with her and felt very appreciative. Everything from the moment we walked in was perfect. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The fish was unbelievably fresh—melt-in-your-mouth good—and every roll was beautifully prepared with great balance and flavor.

The presentation was stunning and even the small details—like the quality of the soy sauce and the perfectly seasoned rice—showed how much care goes into their food. We tried several specialty rolls, and every single one was a hit. The roll were a little on the smaller side but made up for it with the taste. Definitely quality over quantity.

The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and relaxing, making it a great place for both a casual night out and a more special occasion. This is easily some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time.

“I tried Musashi for the first time and it was alright! I got a chirashi bowl which ran to $20 after taxes. It was a pretty small bowl but it was decent. It wasn’t the best chirashi bowl I’ve ever had nor would I come back here for it. It was nice to try a new restaurant but it wasn’t anything too crazy or extraordinary. There are about only 4 tables inside so it’s definitely not like a “dine-in” restaurant. The majority of their orders are to-go’s. It was a bit difficult to locate the restaurant as it’s clumped with the apartments.“

“I come here with my partner at least 1 time a week! The food is so affordable and delicious ($45 max for both of us to eat our fill plus a sake). The service is minimal, as they'll sit you and maybe bring you a drink. I always have to flag someone down to pay, get more chopsticks, ask for drinks, etc, but it doesn't bother me enough to care too much. It's conveyor belt sushi, so I expect to take care of myself compared to other restaurants.

The nori fries are so delicious, and I'm always getting the pork gyoza and salmon sashimi. They have great karagge but you do have to ask for the spicy sauce for it. They also have sweet and sour sauce you can ask for, for the spring rolls. I take everyone I know here and they're always happy! It's easy to get seated around 7 pm, I've found, too.“
