“Craving the official seafood place of the northwest? Stop by Ivar's seafood bar in Issaquah. We started by having our ordertaken from a Vet named Bob. Bob was delightful and made sure our older was entered correct the first time.
Food came out quick and fresh (we had the 4 piece cod and a bowl of chowder) and was deep fried perfectly. The restaurant was clean and well kept up. I would highly recommend stopping by for a meal that isn't burger and fries.
If you are lucky, Bob will stop by your table to share a bit of wisdom from his many years on earth.“

“Its a solid place to get some dim sum when in Bellevue. This is an expansion for them from BC. The interior was pretty well designed, giving it that modern appeal. The dim sum options were decent and the quality of the ones we ordered we good.“

“Saukraut fish may sound weird, but it is a stupendous invention and Nai Brother does it excellently. It has a wide variety of soup and fish options and all are really great. Mala spiciness with a combination of veggies, noodles, tofu, etc. Your tongue may be numb but you won’t regret it.

There are also good non-soup options and they also have whole fish dishes that we’re looking forward to trying. Love this place.“

“Tasty. I didn’t look Chinese enough to them therefore no Chinese menu was offered. No biggie but I saw what I wanted to try from other patron’s table. It’s likely called Hakka stir fry. The orange chicken was tasty however dark meat was used, therefore hubs wasn’t completely satisfied. Of course will come back again. Go before busy dinner crowd arrive, between 4-5pm.“

“I have been dining at Teapot for around 25 years, since their early Capitol Hill location. Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least). “The food was excellent, and the waitress was very attentive. I had the wonton soup, crispy honey walnut chicken, garlic string beans, and the short ribs. Every dish was very good. If I had to choose a favorite it was probably the honey walnut chicken because it had a very satisfying crispy texture on the outside.“

Had the chicken fried rice and the pickled pepper beef. The fried rice was the standout. Huge portion, great price, excellent flavor. 10/10. Really liked the pickled pepper beef, without the peppers it would have fallen flat but they added a nice tang.“

“Super delicious and authentic! You know the food is going to be good when there’s only Chinese people in the restaurant and it’s a bit grimy inside. They were super friendly and spoke Cantonese and the food came out minutes after we ordered. I don’t know how they made the food so fast. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned well, including the steamed oysters. It’s best to go with a big group and eat family style. I would definitely come again.“
