“Today is 2/8/26. I placed a doordash order for some soup because my stove literally blew up. It's military housing what can I expect lol. Also I am sick 😭 so when I received my soup with a note saying I matter and a cookie I was so appreciative!! I legit almost died tonight because of the stove when I was cooking soooo it's all ironic lol. But I'm alive enjoying soup. Thank you!

“The owner is very kind has wonderful customer service skills, makes the best coffee I’ve tasted in years she makes Starbucks look brand new! They also have the best sandwiches I recommend the roast beef sandwich without tomato for lunch prices are affordable.“

My friend and I got boba from the place next to HMART. Couldn’t even drink it cause it tasted so blehhh…So we went here and got 4 different flavors. My friend got Taro, I got strawberry matcha, strawberry tea and the roasted matcha drink. I can’t describe how delicious they are over these boring words. I will definitely keep coming back!!!“

“I love sugar cookies. they are a lot of work so I do not like to make them. So I have been all over Washington always looking for the best sugar cookie and I FINALLY found it! some places have good cookies and some have good frosting but no one else has both. They make the perfect cookie with the perfect frosting. we also had the pumkin bar and it was absolutely delicious. we will definitely be back soon!“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“I don’t get coffee often but I love this place! I work on JBLM and pass this place everyday. It’s got such a convenient location if you go through Roy to go to JBLM. The baristas are so sweet and always do a fantastic job on my coffees even when I have multiple orders that are different. The coffee is also superb! If I have the chance to go here, I always take it!“

“Just had breakfast from Simply Panini and everything was great *except* why would you use died green filler sauce and call it pesto? Pesto is olive oil, basil, garlic, and a nut element that could be skipped… so simple and delicious! It could even be mixed with mayo in the right proportions and be good. This sauce was an immediate red flag when I opened the container and it barely tastes like anything. The early bird breakfast sandwich would be so much better with a sauce made from real food.“

“My verdict is that I'd eat here again but for breakfast offerings nothing stood out as exceptional. The chicken fried steak was well executed, the hashbrowns were too greasy, my mocha was well executed, my husband liked his waffle sandwich though he commented that it was too salty and there wasn't much to balance that out besides powdered sugar which I'm not sure why that was used on an otherwise savory dish. I might have used a jam or fruit if creating a flavor balance was the goal. Our waitress was nice and the place is homey. If your looking for an American country cafe I think you'll be happy with this place, it is what it's trying to be.“

“I attended an event the Tacoma Chapter NAACP held at the Jazzy's cafe in Tacoma. This was my first time at this establishment. The event was well attended by NAACP members from Alaska, Oregon and Washington. DJ TV Lee a well known DJ from Washington provided music. The establishment is small but everyone had a good time. This is a nice place to have lunch maybe dinner and drinks. Recommend people check it out. Employees very professional as well as the owner.“

“My husband and I have been eating at Nordstrom's Cafe for years. The food is always great and service is usually good. We feel the quality of the food and the clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices. However, after shopping the Anniversary sale my husband and I went to lunch at Nordstrom's and we both were disappointed that the Cafe is now using paper napkins and not cloth napkins. I know it's not a big deal to some but it feels like another Nordstrom's downgrade. Just like losing the piano player and the customer service center/gift wrap. Remember those beautiful silver boxes with the bows? Or how every clerk walked around the counter to hand you your Nordstrom bag. Those days are gone....we find ourselves shopping there less.....“

However the service was definitely questionable?.. it felt slow and sometimes you'd ask for something and they'd make you feel like dumb for asking I don't know. overall service is a bit slow and unprofessional but the food is delicious and I'll definitely be coming back regardless!
