“Came in late on a Sunday night for a take out order and received phenomenal service. We were probably close to closing time, but they ushered us in without any hesitation, took our large order and were so kind as to bring us a few snacks while we waited for our order. We were happy to wait as we hadn’t called ahead, but so appreciated the welcoming gesture. Great bar seating if you wanted to watch a game while dining in with some sake. We got multiple sushi rolls, gyoza, and the order came with a few miso soups and edamame, all of which was heartily enjoyed on our return home. Loved the sushi boat to-go tray which made it so easy to share. California roll did not skimp on the crab. Good food and super nice staff - so glad we stopped in!”

“Our favorite place now! My order: Unagi (nigiri), Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special. Dad's oder: Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special and 5 order of maguro to go. The unagi was the best i have had in over 10 years. The tempura was light, crunchy and flavorful. My Dad is very particular about food and I am known to order the same item over and over. I have been trying different things and pleased with each one here. Everything was as good as it could possibly be. So happy!”

“I’ve been on the hunt for good BBQ in Washington for a LONG time… My search was finally successful today when I discovered BBQ Pete’s in Lakewood Towncenter.

The trifecta of scrumptulessence was in full effect; 1. Cleanliness and attention to detail, 2. Amazing customer service, & 3. (Most importantly) High quality food. From the moment you walk in, your nostrils are greeted with the rich smells of BBQ, shortly after you’re greeted by pleasant team members that are actually happy to help you. The menu has the right amount of choices and the simplicity a place focused on BBQ should. The atmosphere is clean, spacious, and feels inviting.

After you order, you walk to your left and find an amazing assortment of accoutrements that continue to bolster the authentic BBQ experience. There is unlimited BBQ sauce (chose the spicy option for optimal flavor), fresh pickles & onions, and to my amazement real sweet tea as a beverage option (a true unicorn in WA State).

The brisket made me feel like I was in Texas, the BBQ beans reminded me of Grandma, and the Mac & Cheese pushed me over to edge to fully fledged food coma status. God bless BBQ Pete’s, may you ever bring joy to taste buds as you have mine.

“I’ve always eaten at the Federal Way location but decided to stop by this location to compare. It’s just as delicious if not better and we had really good service.

It didn’t take very long for food to come out and the seafood pancake was also nice and thicc. They don’t skimp out.

The decor here is different than the federal way one but not in a bad way. Here it’s more modern with ambient lighting vs the old school style booth set up in federal way. There’s also more space in general so it didn’t feel cramped.

I’ll be happy to eat here again in the future.”

“Right from the moment you step in, Bon Bon Bakery hits the sweet spot of technique and flavour. The doughnuts, the milk bread, the pastries... They’re all executed with a level of precision that you rarely see outside a top-notch bakery. (Yes, I mean precision.)

What stands out here is the restraint: you’re not bombarded with sugar, you’re allowed to taste real ingredients. The crumb of the bread is so light and airy you’d think they’d captured a cloud in the oven. The fillings are beautifully balanced, it's enough to make you smile, not so much to make you wince.

The variety is fantastic: you’ve got traditional old-world techniques being used but the flavour profile is fresh, modern, bright. You’ll find something here that reminds you of your bakery travels in Tokyo or Paris, but with its own personality.

Service is friendly, sincere, and you can tell the bakers care. The space is inviting, no gimmicks, just good baking done well.

My only nitpick (and it’s a small one): come early, because the best stuff flies off the shelves. But when you get it fresh? That’s the kind of bake that makes me want to roll up my sleeves and say, ‘This is what a bakery should be.’

“The beer selection is second to none in the area. The breakfast sandwiches are so good I cannot stop thinking about them. I had the egg salad sandwich with arugula and a delicious wasabi sauce that paired so well with a delicious Pilsner from Melvin brewing. I also had the walk of shame sandwich and the cheese and chives were the perfect combination and exactly what you are looking for in a breakfast sandwich. The buns they use here are of noticeable quality hold up well to the hearty sandwiches. The staff here is also very friendly and makes you feel like a regular even if you are 300 miles from home.”

“This location can get busy but they still get you in and out pretty quick. They are one of the most consistent Emerald City Smoothies in the area. Unlike other locations, I don't have issues with them running out of ingredients.”

“First I’d like to express how much I appreciate the level of caution and care JM’s always puts into customers with food allergies. I can actually eat there with the security knowing I won’t get sick and that means so much. Secondly, I was in there today, October 3 at 12:50 and as busy as they were with DoorDash orders and customers they were very friendly and helpful and worked quickly and efficiently. The two girls making the sandwiches were especially sweet. They were all rock stars.”

“I love Mod. Not quite what they used to be post covid, but still good. The pizza is awesome, IF, you know how to build a pizza. I always get my special, which is a phenomenal tasting pizza. Also not alot of pizza places around anymore with fire ovens. I suggest asking for olive oil and fig balsamic drizzled over your pizza after it comes out of the oven.”

“I had been craving spaghetti with marinara and meatballs. I had been up since 4 am and had worked all day long. A meeting after work and it turned into a 11 hour day.
It was about 8pm (an hour before closing) when I walked into Casa Mia.
The place was sparsly filled with customers. Only 2 other tables had customers.
I ordered without really looking at the menu.
The staff was right on time. My dinner came quickly. I was very full when I left.
Have you ever had a meal that is so satisfying that you'll remember it for a very long time. I had one as Casa Mia. Seriously lol at that plate!”

“Been going to this regularly for about 3 years now. Best bar in Lakewood, no doubt. Prices are fair, bartenders are great, and the cook is an absolute legend. Everything and anything that comes from that kitchen is absolutely delicious. I recommend this bar to anyone and everyone.”
