“Chicken teriyaki. Good. Fair price. “Salad” is just iceberg lettuce. There werent any other things in it, not even a hint of carrot… $4 for tea bottle too high. Service was fast. Portion size was good. Would eat again but would get drinks elsewhere probably or just bring my own water bottle. A couple seats outside would be nice. Too cold inside for my taste.“

“The texture, cor, taste, sauces, seasoning, moisture, softness of the chicken, the freshness of the vegetables, and the richness yet not too rich teriyaki sauce mixture is almost to die for! Well balanced dish (although I had extra chicken), and the atmosphere (me being alone in the restaurant felt kinda good, but it's a little forlorn). Why not many people eat at this location is beyond me, but I HIGHLY recommend eating here. True quality and real appreciation of Teriyaki. Next time, I have to try something else besides just teriyaki. :)“

“Great place for quick bites with a lot of options. They have self order booths with photos so its easy to order too.

We ordered a duck jianbing and didn’t expect much but overall I would say this is an easy 8-8.5/10. Outer layer is soft, very eggy serves with the shredded duck inside and the crispy fried stick. They also spreaded a chili sauce inside. So savory and have a good kick.

“There's this unexpected gem, you MUST try, in the U-District! It's the Red Pepper Chinese Cuisine! They are this great clean and fairly fast restaurant, that serves up hearty and delicious meals! Most of their entrées serve 2 or more people (almost family style), so bring your appetite!!! We had their Dry Pot dish, where you can choose 5 mix and match ingredients, on their menu. A Stir-Fried Noodle, with Chicken and a Deep Fried Chicken Soft Bone, with RED PEPPER! 😉🔥🌶 Everything was super delicious and filling!!! They were also very polite when the item I ordered was unavailable and offered a good alternative. The restaurant was adorned with cute holiday decorations and the dumplings I ordered were delicious! “Such an incredible new Chinese place for north Seattle! Every dish we had was amazing. Mongolian beef with crispy rice noodles--perfect flavor. The sweet and sour pork was like nothing we've had before, and the pot stickers are clearly made from scratch on site, they taste soooo fresh. Best of all, the chef had just whipped up a bath of popcorn chicken with this amazing sweet/spicy seasoning, and let us try it to give our opinion on the new recipe. So good! Very high quality food, made fresh, and incredibly reasonable prices. (Most entrees I saw are $9-12.) And the owners are exceptionally kind and professional. “We have been going to the Edmonds location for over 7 years! We love their food! It’s a great spot and kids are welcome. Here are some of our favorites: The egg and chive dumplings OR the entree, The colorful salad, their fresh noodles in the chow mein are super good as well, and the accompaniment foods. My husband regularly orders a big order of the Spicy noodle salad and divides it up for the weeks lunches!! The LFP location is a great spot to get quick food and I order them on Uber Eats! Bonus!! My only wish would be the Edmonds full menu also being on a delivery service.“

We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! “This is quite the little gem in Aurora! We have been going here about 20 years or so, and it had always had consistently good food, and the owners are really nice. During COVID, they went to take-out only, so you get a bit of a thrill pulling up to the back door and waiting for someone to come out. :-)

We have tried many of the dishes here, and all have been good. Some of our favorites are the Soft Egg and Prawn, Curry Beef, Mongolian Beef, and House Special Fried Rice.

“Great selection of szechuan food. I tried their over the hridge ruce noodle which is my hometown dish (Yunnan province). It is decent and well done. The server was a very sweet lady. Great price for delicious authentic Chinese szechuan food.

Only thing I see that needs improvement is their workstation for side job- it is is next to the diners (green beans all over the table). Maybe you can reserve a further area for side jobs.

“Hand made noodles are really good.
Flavors are really good. Skillful cook.
I personally like their Sweet and Sour Chicken and Fried rices, but their stir fried noodles are also excellent ( wife's favorite are the Indonesian ones)
The location does not allow dine in ( No tables) but it is an excellent for To-Go ( pickup or delivered) if you live nearby, they can deliver themselves ( instead of an overpriced app)“

“I would like to preface this by saying I am not a local; I come up from Florida 1-2 times a year to see my girlfriend. I took her here about a year or two ago for lunch and we make it a point to come back every time I'm around. This means that we only come in to eat every 6-8 months at best, and yet without missing a beat the owner recognizes us every time.

That alone is reason enough for me to want to keep coming back, but the establishment really speaks for itself. Good food, clean place, friendly staff, and quick service. However, there was only one person working the front end & they were absolutely busting their ass. My partner ordered a bubble tea once we arrived & it probably took 20ish minutes to actually receive it. I am in no way complaining about the length of time it took, more so wanting to bring to the owners attention how hard this person was being worked during what was an insanely busy dinner rush. “Qingshu Hot Pot is a malatang - “you pay for what you eat” - style restaurant. You grab a plate and tongs, select your ingredients for your hotpot soup, and the staff weigh your ingredients to determine the price. The base price is $14.99 / 1lb and the minimum weight you can get is 0.8 lb.

They had a decent variety of ingredients spanning from vegetables, noodles, protein, and seafood. Some of the ingredients had labels (the meats and several of the seafood options) but some others did not, so as long as you’re familiar with what malatang restaurants generally serve, then picking the right ingredients that suite your palate shouldn’t be too difficult. Hopefully as the restaurant gains more recognition, the ingredient variety can expand. One of the favorite toppings was the mochi fish cake (tastes nothing special but had a unique texture) and the lobster ball (fishball filled with lobster flavored roe).

Broth selection was vast with a whopping 9 different broths to choose from. After paying for the meal, the staff cooks your ingredients with your chosen broth and they bring your bowl to you. Mid-meal, the staff brought me the noodles they forgot to put into my soup and they were very apologetic about it. Funnily enough, I didn’t even notice they forgot my noodles but seeing how quick they were to address the mistake shows how much they put in towards giving their customers the best service.

Overall, my experience visiting Qingshu Hot Pot was a good one. I recommend people to visit here! :)“

“Found this place by accident. They have a big menu and price of food is not expensive. We ordered the fried rice and it was delicious, not oily. Tried the salt and pepper squid and its crispy and airy. Over all the food is delicious and I recommend this place. Its not as aesthetic as it looks from the outside but their food is really good, not too salty or oily and never gave me weird aftertaste. The portions are generous and I would definitely come back.“

“I absolutely LOVE their soup dumplings!!! They're always filled with so much soup, with great flavor, the perfect thinness of the wrapper...thin yet so strong to hold all that yummy goodness inside!

The Q-baos also hold so much soup inside them! They always seem to have the perfect brown crisp to the bottom of them.

Love their pig ear appetizer. It's an acquired taste, but they cut it so thin; I love how chewy and flavorful this dish is!
