We went here for pre- father's day dinner with our 15 month old, dinning out with toddlers isn't always a joyful experience, some places don't even have high chair's. “Came for lunch and got several rolls. I enjoyed the smoked salmon roll and the staff accommodated my request to alter the roll by adding cucumber to it. Fair pricing depending on the roll you choose. Some rolls are $20 and some are like $7. They had some tempura options I want to try next time!“

“One of our longtime favorite sushi restaurants, Sam's is always delicious. On our recent trip, we enjoyed nigiri, bento box, and udon soup--it was all outstanding. This restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Street parking is hit and miss (no parking lot unfortunately). Now that bento now comes with maguro (tuna) instead of hamashi, but the wait staff graciously provided hamachi (yellowtail) this time only. We'll be back!

Wheelchair accessibility: Door is wide enough, but needed help opening (old building). Ramp just inside was wide, easy to walk down. Regular tables, able to wheel up to one. Didn't use the rest room. No handicap parking but you may find street parking nearby. We found a place out front, there's an old ramp right here too (former loading dock?). Staff was pleasant and helpful.“

“I’ve been coming to Thirsty Hop since 2015 and after a few years away I’m pleased to find that they STILL SERVE FULL PINTS!!! No cheater glassware, no silly shaped vessels, just full pints. As a craft beer connoisseur it is becoming harder and harder to source. The beer selection is varied with their available tap list updated in real time online. Perfect. On top of that, they now specialize in sushi! What a combo! Great vibe!“

“I believe 9 rolls fill up a boat if that is what you are looking for. I wouldn't say this is the best quality sushi, but some were better than others. the rice quality isn't that good or something, some rolls were kind of hard and wondered if there was any rice at all, but pretty good still. don't even know what I got as I came with 3 other people and we each ordered 2 rolls each. everyone was a able to try a little of each other's order and we were full after that.it did take a while to get our order but that's 72 pieces they had to make.“

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

Especially when husband wants tamales (Frelard Tamales), I want curry (Smile), and daughter wants edamame and sushi rolls (Tsai Sushi). The fish is fresh and shrimp tempura rolls are diving! Sushi comes out fast, neat, and orderly.
Usually get the garlic lover, spicy tuna, salmon skin, and a random roll to try.
There are a few I'd never order again, but at least I tried em.
The prices are good and worth spending the money to try em out.

Just whatever you do...do not push the shuttle or else it will throw off the return and they'll have to come and push it all the way back.

There's a cool robot that comes and brings your drinks and small plate to you.
Just grab your drinks and plates, then tap Done and off it goes.

Amazing seeing 2-3 people handle the place with such ease and happily.

We like this place for their curry katsu, and this is one of the better places to get katsu. “A nice little spot for some delicious sushi in downtown Kirkland. Walked in on Friday evening and were seated really quickly. The staff was welcoming and friendly in a down to Earth way. Our table was clean and comfortable. Great variety on the menu; I was able to order non-sushi items for myself and daughter while my friends found some great looking sushi plates. My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. We tried the potato-ball/squid dish (I can't recall the name) and it was VERY good!!! Great on a cold evening to warm you up. Prices seemed fair and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Each time I've come in they gave a bonus for any inconveniences, first time a extra roll second they gave me a free spam masubi. “recently tried the spicy chicken teriyaki and General Tso's chicken at Ichi Roll Wok & Teriyaki, and I was pleasantly surprised. The spicy chicken teriyaki had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming, and the sauce had a good balance of sweet and savory flavors. The chicken was tender and well-cooked.

The General Tso's chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce had a good depth of flavor with just the right amount of tanginess and heat. Both dishes came with a generous portion of rice“
