“Had this awhile back and had to have it again when I was back in town. Had the Katsu Curry this time which gave what I expected. The server (Yeong I believe) was super friendly and hospitable beyond what I expected! Perhaps he just liked us or we were a big group but he served us some complementary sides that were delicious. Not on quality, service, nor atmosphere. If you haven't tried Sushi Zen, you should. If you frequent another Sushi spot, you shouldn't. Daniel, Kimiko, Aki and their dedicated staff provide the freshest food, simply and elegantly prepared and served. Always welcoming when you walk in, and a signature "see you tomorrow" as you leave.“

Quality: Best Sushi I have ever had in my life. Period! Kazuko has my highest recommendation! Me and 3 other friends went there for happy hour and we had the best time! SHOUT OUT to Jason who made the most delicious sushi on earth! The taste, freshness, texture of the sushi and sashimi are top-notch. My favroite is the toro and the melting sensation once placed in my mouth feels amazing! The spider rolls, nacho sushis, sashimi and sushi sets are all dazzling and tasted incredible! I can’t say enough good things about this place! It is hard to pick my favorite!

Appearance: A picture speaks a thousand words! They all look like masterpiece and art! It was such a satisfying experience just watching Jason putting the sushi together! I really appreciate him putting many efforts and time to serve the best sushi to us!

Portion size: We loved it! Everything is the perfect size and great portion!.

Friendliness: Service is solid! Jason is the best chef and he is awesome! We enjoyed spending time with the chefs and the servers! They are all very nice and friendly. They created a heart-warming, welcoming and nice atmosphere for us to have the best dining experience. I love talking to each of them and we are so grateful for their wonderful service!

Timeliness: Food came in no time! We went on a Monday night so not many people is in the restaurant, but I really appreciate them for providing the best service to us!

Environment: Very clean and nice, The lighting is perfect and I loved how everything looks, very simple yet modern. It really brings me to Japan and I loved it! Ver ycozy and warm atmosphere and the nice people make it feels like home!

Location: Great location with plenty of parkings outside, It is very easy to find the place! If you don’t have a car just like me, it maybe kind of hard to get there but I am sure with the lightrail opened up to Lynnwood, it will definitely make things easier!“

“It has been a long while since my partner and I had really good sushi. Misoya does not disappoint with their sushi options. We also enjoy a good tempura appetizer and their tempura was light and crispy. I would recommend trying the fried salmon roll too.“

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

“A nice little spot for some delicious sushi in downtown Kirkland. Walked in on Friday evening and were seated really quickly. The staff was welcoming and friendly in a down to Earth way. Our table was clean and comfortable. Great variety on the menu; I was able to order non-sushi items for myself and daughter while my friends found some great looking sushi plates. My chicken Katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly, and included a fresh salad and a cup of miso soup, which was very tasty. We tried the potato-ball/squid dish (I can't recall the name) and it was VERY good!!! Great on a cold evening to warm you up. Prices seemed fair and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop! :-)“

“Best price for sushi in Seattle not to mention they have larger portions. Flavor is great as well. Their a little hard to find and parking is a bit of a hassle. Service is great. Each time I've come in they gave a bonus for any inconveniences, first time a extra roll second they gave me a free spam masubi. They also seem to have improved their interior and looks much nicer now.

“This is easily some of the best Asian food I've ever had!!!We got the teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and the honey Korean fried chicken and 2 sushi rolls. The portions where amazing for the price and all the chicken was super tender. The staff were super nice and they Evan gave us a stir-fried vegetables on the house. “We had a great time at Yu Sushi and Katsu! The food was fantastic - we got a mix of rolls, nigiri, seaweed salad, and a taco. The taco was wrapped in a seaweed shell and was delicious (really tasty sauce!) and a really fun, creative dish! Service was excellent and friendly. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!

Vegetarian options: We got some vegetarian dishes and they were great! We are mostly vegetarian but sometimes eat fish, which we did that night.

“Ever since Covid, Sushi Hana has changed to be a monorail sushi restaurant instead of a conveyor belt sushi spot. HUGE difference in the quality and freshness of the sushi - it is now one of our favorite places and we come here for special occasions with our kids all the time! Tonight we came with my sister and her family for my daughter's 8th birthday.

My 4 year old son got too big of a bite of part of his sister's California Roll and he started choking. Not just sort-of choking, but a prolonged, scary experience. I was beating him on his back and we were about to need to do the Heimlich maneuver. I was in a state of panic - I am trained in CPR and choking/first aid, but I sort-of blacked out during the experience and it all seemed to go in slow motion.

Our server, Jay, jumped into action and came into our booth, ready to perform the Heimlich if necessary. He actually started lifting my son up to do it, but then he started coughing more normally and was able to speak. Jay informed us that he is a pre-med student and was totally ready to do whatever was needed to help our son.

Our food was great, but Jay went far above and beyond tonight and we are truly thankful for him. Thank goodness that our son is OK. We will be back and we so appreciate you all!

“This was so good. I can't remember the last time I had a conveyor belt before this. After the pandemic lots of sushi places closed. And when I found this one I was so happy. The mango cake was so fluffy and melted in my mouth and was pretty cheap. I was eating with 4 other people so it was expensive but so worth it. They had so many options there. And never before have I been to a place with a warm conveyor belt. It was so nice because they have cold options or room temperature options on top and warm options on the bottom. The service was amazing and were always asking what we needed and if we wanted water. I loved all of the fried things. I am very picky about my calamari but this was the best calamari I have ever had. The cheese bun, gyoza, and yakisoba were super good. I also wasn't sure if the ninja fruit roll were be good but it was so good! I definitely recommend this place for special occasions. Or if you really like sushi and Japanese food. I didn't get this but I saw that they even had Japanese soda! So I would recommend this place! ?
