“Side quest for Hawaiian food is always comforting, and Kauai Family Restaurant is the spot for it. They’ve got all your Hawaiian favorites on the menu. I ordered a couple of the combos and some katsu—everything was solid. Some items were a bit on the salty side for my taste, but still enjoyable. It wasn’t too busy when I went, so the food came out pretty quick. The vibes inside really made you feel like you were in Hawaii. Definitely check their hours before you go, since they’re mostly open just for lunch and early afternoon.“

“Old Saigon is a hidden gem with great food and friendly service. The pho was flavorful and satisfying, and the banh mi was just as good—fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The complimentary hot jasmine tea was a nice touch, especially on a chilly day. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Plus, they offer a punch card for a free pho after several visits, which is a great bonus. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!
Also as always the egg rolls are super good.“

“Aroy Makkkkk !!!
Delightful Delicious affordable Thai food I have ever tried in WA. Very casual home cook style and variety you can choose on the menu! Very recommended “Pork Jerky” from appetizers. It’s good with either rice or sticky rice OR even by itself ?
Tom Sabb also very good soup with herbs and fragrant. Me and my friends got Seafood Tom Sabb which we got shrimp, squid, mussels.
Spicy chicken Salad also highly recommended! Every spices and herbs blend well together and som little crunchy from roasted rice will hit your mouth.
All I can say is this place will make your mouth drool ? such a gem and comfort Thai food restaurant in Kent that worth to visit. Absolutely not gonna be disappointed ?? Originally Thai taste in town. Confirmed by a Thai person!!!“

“I looked up musubi and this place came up with really good reviews. I was not disappointed. I got three different kinds of musubi. Tempura prawns, spam and Portuguese sausage. All of them delicious. I also ordered a combination plate and got machicho(sp?)chicken and the shoyu chicken. I used to compete in barbecue and the shoyu chicken is a prize winner. So far nothing has disappointed me. Don't expect it to be super clean. The table tops were ok but the floors had all kinda dust and stuff. They do have really nice pictures up though. Make sure if you don't see anyone up front they have a bell next to the POS.“

“Been to this place twice and both times food was top notch! Last time I went in and it was a relatively hot day this place was so hot I was sweating uncomfortably eating my food … please get some fans in or something for the summer. Second time the service was a bit off putting as well.“

“Great food but very poorly staffed and not the best service. Waited 40 minutes for two bowls of noodles and the steam rice cakes. Waited 15 min after being seated for water.
When the food did come, it was delicious though.“

“Wow, really great food here. Everything super delicious! Wish I had tried it sooner in fact. Perfectly cooked and presented. The egg noodles were a standout, cooked to a nice al dente. We got two soups, the wonton/brisket with thick egg noodles and the wonton/fish ball with rice noodles, planning on trying more different things next time.
They also have Chinese donut which is great for dipping in your soup!“

“My absolute favorite! I have a slight obsession with bahn mi sandwiches and Pho Aroma has my favorite - perfect ratio of meat to bread to veggies. I also love their rice dishes and recently tried the crispy noodle stir fry which is my current obsession! The owners are also the absolute kindest people and it’s just a really cozy places to have a meal.“

“My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. I received a side of fish dressing I used some chilly paste in it, the other server asked if I would like to have the chilly oil… ohh man was I happy with that suggestion!! Loved it!! Would recommend for an authentic flavor and palates. Will return and try more. Super excited to have a very good pho place here at the beach!! Thanks for doing what y’all doing there!!“

“We ended up ordering take away since they are near closing and we didn’t like being rushed. Menu was extended. We had pho , grilled and teriyaki chicken. Big portions. Lots of veggies. Never missed the sauces. Recommended for a break in the usual western cuisine.“

“We had shrimp Teriyaki and chicken and beef combo Teriyaki.
Both very good, the shrimp was slightly over cooked which is not bad but my preference is for it to be less dry like. The beef/chicken combo was very good, the chicken very tender with the just right amount of char giving it a very nice flavor. The beef was extra tender and tasty as well. I would come back to this place as service was good, service with a smile. The food came within a reasonable amount of time, not a long wait. Tables were nice and clean, no film residue which is pleasant to find. Nice neighborhood establishment.“

“Gave me the old mom and pop shop feel. The building is dated but surprisingly well maintained and clean, more so than some newer restaurants.

“Small quiet restaurant in a plaza. Has lots of parking. The pho hit the spot. Broth was really good to the point it was soothing my sore throat and almost finish it all first. My husband got their vermicelli bowl and it was big. Service was fast. It looked like the daughter took our order and the mom cooked the food. I would come back here.“

“Overall Rating: 4 of 5 (8.5/10)
(We went back in April, posting review late)
My boyfriend took me here for dinner, we love dumplings and he has been here before, it was my first time. We were seated promptly! The restaurant is very spacious and has a good esthetic to it. Our server came by to take our order, and I'll be honest. We ordered alot, what I didn't love was the server asking if we were sure we needed that much lol. I guess my boyfriend and I really are big backs. I could have done without the comment, but alas they were still polite none the less. The food started to come out, big hits for me were the Gyoza, Cucumber Salad, Chicken Soup Dumpling, and their Dan Dan Noodles! We got several other dishes but I didn't love them as much, still good but not amazing! The dessert was honestly my favorite part of the whole meal! A delicious banana dessert. Would love to come back here, but now that we know our favorites we would probably order less! (The drinks they serve here are also very good!)“

“A Korean doing it in Seattle
I think this is the only king dumpling restaurant.
My mom likes this house’s steamed buns.
Usually, 30 items are packaged per visit.
There are a lot of dissatisfied reviews about Limit.
It's okay if you make this much for the price.
Limit is a household management policy.
I can't say this or that
If you are in business, you would like to have a small yudori.
I also wish that
Not very tasty dumplings. That's right
It's not a tasteless dumpling...
The filling is on the soft side and the dumpling skin is chewy.
My family prefers meat dumplings the most.
Kimchi dumplings have a stronger spicy taste than kimchi.
The steamed buns taste just like the ones I had in Korea…
First of all, the red bean paste is not sweet, so I recommend steamed buns.
only..
The owner and his wife are not friendly.
In particular, the male boss was very blunt.“

The food is fantastic! I like broken rice with pork chop and a giant prawn. It comes with shredded pork skins, fried eggs, and savory fish sauce. I also like the sweet and sour catfish soup and catfish stew and the pho is always delicious.
Parking: Parking is free and shared with other businesses, such as Harbor Freight.“

“Best pho I have had in while, broth was not watered down and there was so much meat in my pho. The broth was rich, fresh, savory and did not have that watered down licorice taste, like almost all the pho place in the PNW. Really liked how everything thing you needed was already at the table, like chili oil and didn’t have to ask for it. Pho was piping hot, didn’t have to wait long for the steak and brisket to cook. I will be back (going back tomorrow again lol).“

“Visiting from Eugene, OR. My daughter just finished a full, hard fought club soccer game against OL Reign. I was hungry for lunch, so I was looking for a lunch spot near the field, and this Pho spot caught my eye on Google maps. There were some positive reviews, but what caught my eye were the negative reviews. Haters gonna hate. Would they deter me? No. So I wondered the side streets while gauging my daughter's interest in some warm broth with noodles and protein. She was open to it, and as I ended up on the main street, I saw a ghetto looking strip mall with just that Pho spot that caught my eye. Understanding from the reviews that it was run by a couple and seeing the setting, I knew I'd be in for a treat. When I walked in the door, we were greeted authentically and pleasantly. We were sat promptly upon answering that we intended to eat there. My order was taken quickly, and as soon as we were ready. Did I dare ask to use the restroom that the sign on the door boldly read was not for public use and appeared locked with a padlock? I asked and was assured it was not locked. It wasn't, and it was very clean. By the time I got out and my daughter and I commented to each other how nice they were, our food started coming out. The Banh mi was crisp, warm, and tasty. The fried spring roll was delicious. The pho was huge and amazing. My daughter and I doctored it up to our liking and enjoyed it. We paid and tried tidying our mess to be interrupted and assured they would take care of that. My daughter can be picky, but she loved this place from the authenticity to the tasty food. We left stuffed, happy, and with a memory of a pleasant experience. Oh, the prices were very reasonable, I'd say affordable. Good stuff.
Vegetarian options: Idk if it would satisfy strict vegetarian standards but there were vegetarian options.
Parking: Ghetto Strip mall parking shared with a laundromat, dollar tree, and a few other businesses.“

“Vietnamese flavor that tastes like comfort food your mom or grandma makes. I will come back and definitely bring my parents.
Every dish tried delicious, especially the pork meatball soup. It’s unlike anything I’ve found in other Vietnamese restaurants. I'm surprised it doesn't have a following yet. So delicious and comforting, if they ever decide to add Bun Cha Ca with dill to their menu with this broth, it would be a hit.
The tofu was standard, plain fried and breaded nothing special there and the Thai tea hit the spot as always.
Definitely a hole in the wall that I'll return to.“

“So delicious and very large portions! Servers are extremely hospitable as well!
The Black Pepper Fried Tofu was THE crispiest and juiciest tofu I've ever had, and I've had a lot of tofu as a vegetarian! Chili Lemongrass w. Rice Noodles had an ABUNDANT amount of vegetables, it was very nutritious and filling! My dad loved the Mongolian Beef with rice and my mom could NOT get enough of the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup! Pho Chay was slightly salty, so perhaps ask for it with less salt, but nonetheless full of flavor! And the dessert was sweet and perfect combo of hot and cold. Highly recommend :)“
