We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.”

My wife gets the same thing every time and each time there's something different about her pizza. Not enough toppings, just enough, burnt gluten free crust, cheese doesn't quite taste the same. It's still good but since consistency would be nice.”

He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.”

“This cute restaurant is slightly hidden when you first arrive as my boyfriend and I missed it when we first arrived by GPS. Luckily there was street parking in front of the restaurant and we were able to park just fine and enter the restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress who appears to be the owner and she was very polite and professional with us. She got us waters and menus and gave us the right amount of time to decide what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered the Singapore fried rice with chicken and I got the spicy garlic chicken with peanut sauce with a Thai iced tea.
The inside of the restaurant is cozy and cute. The ceiling has a beautiful pattern of blue skies with little clouds and there is good lighting throughout the restaurant that gives a pretty casual vibe throughout the restaurant. The food came out after some time and it was absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend loved his fried rice and he also took some of the peanut sauce as he said it was very flavorful. I really enjoyed the spicy garlic chicken and wished it was a bit spicier as I ordered hot but that's fine. The peanut sauce was delightful to put on my meal as well. We thought the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and perfect. I look forward to trying more of the dishes here as we were happy with the food, service, and prices!”

“I honestly come here all the time. The pad thai is made fresh and fast. Its delicious and you can add different proteins. I always add chicken. Again, so darn good. The only place I go for pad thai. I have been to other Thai restaurants around here and nothing compares to this food truck. Also, I am not a topped veggie fan but the way everything comes equipped and flavored I eat every darn drop. He started making Thai coffee and added it to the menu which is fantastic. Its pretty good. My only thing is its a to go kinda place. Not a super great area to just sit and eat due to the surroundings. If he ever got a restaurant in the future I would be there. Excellent service as well. Zero complaints. Love this spot!

“I had the privilege of speaking with the many staff on site. They explained exactly why there was a wait for service when I asked and did so professionally and politely. I had very good service from everybody.. but I want to highlight a gentleman tonight by the name of “yo” he was energetic and so positive/ light hearted that I needed to speak with a manager of his service and also needed to leave an online review. There’s been a decline in customer service recently from many restaurants but “yo” has given me faith! I hope anybody who reads this review meet “yo” and understand your getting the full apple bees experience here in Olympia!”

“The loaded baked potato was amazing with the pulled pork. Every bite melts in your mouth and it's like all your best memories of home cooked meals rolled into one. The baked beans taste like heaven and your first kiss. The cornbread has that perfect, crumbly texture and the side of butter whipped up with vanilla sends it soaring. My only complaint is that there isn't more butter. And my stomach isn't bigger. This place is so good. I was feeling homesick for good food and this place soothed my troubled heart.”

“Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.”

“We do girls nights at West Side El Sarape on a monthly basis. Last night, the chicken was dry in the fajita salad that I ordered. Definitely over priced for a typical salad and some chicken. My bill was $61 after ordering 1 drink, fajita salad and to hold off on the order to go, fajita quesadilla. Instead, she brought it to the table a good hour before we left and said its still warm. She never asked if I was ready to have it made or even leave. When I got home, the to go order was not what I requested, instead, fajitas. Very over priced and disappointed. Did price changes happen on the menu that do not reflect online menu?”

Even though I lived out of the area, my children all loved to stop for an Eagan's burger. To this day they uphold the high standards originally established by Loretta Eagan in the 1960s”

Didn’t realize there was a 18% automatic gratuity added for large groups which is fine but they don’t give you a receipt so you end up giving an extra tip on top of the one already had on the bill. Some of our group questioned this to the server and only then did he admit there was a gratuity added. To me this is deceptive and spoiled the nice experience.”
