“I have been dining at Teapot for around 25 years, since their early Capitol Hill location. Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least). Out of all Korean restaurants ive ever been too this one won me over just with the banchan! The japchae was also hands down best of all time.

Service is was fast, making the whole dining experience even better. We did have reservations, the parking lot and restaurant was booming at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. Be sure to arrive a bit early if going during dinner time and prepare to fight for a spot or two or circle around a few times. But honestly, once you taste the food, you’ll realize it’s more than worth the effort.“
