“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“

“Exceptional. I got the ribs, greens and cornbread. The meat was perfectly smoked and seasoned. The greens were so good I wished I had just ordered 10 servings of those. This is the kind of rib where you can taste the excellent wood smoke and the meat pulls apart but not falls apart. I don't usually sauce the bbq but this sauce was also really good. Eating this food felt like watching Michael Jordan dunk on the baseline over half the other team.“

“C Davis BBQ is a 'pop up' food truck... so the atmosphere is the great outdoors. & it's totally take out! That said, the smoked meats are just the best! I don't know where he sources his meats, but the ribs (pork baby backs & beef) are meaty & smoked to the perfect doneness so not dry! Tender & falling off the bone goodness. His turkey legs are... like if there was such a thing as turkey ham... His brisket (comes chopped but rumor has it sliced will be in the mix soon) makes, perhaps, the best brisket sandwich I've ever had... consistently! He has sides that are all delicious- my favorite is his red beans & rice. Well worth checking his Facebook posts for where to find his truck next! But be on time & be prepared to get in line. He sells out of hundreds of pounds of meat in about 3 hours...“

“We have come here for many years. It been awhile since we came back. We like their new menu looks like it been recently updated. We ordered our usual of: -Vietnamese Sweet & Sour Catfish Soup -Catfish in Clay Pot/Stew -Rice Today we also tried: -Crispy Oysters -Salted Fish Fried Rice -Three Color Dessert -Thai Dessert It wasn't too busy today, we got a table right away for a family of our. The servers were nice and friendly. Our desserts were bought out first, and soon after the main dishes. Our usual dishes is the tasty as usual. Our favorite as a family is the fried oysters. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. We will be back as usual! We highly recommend this place! They got some of the dishes we love that keeps us coming back for more!“
