“Stateside was simply fun and excellent. A nice selection of cocktails, including a couple of nice NA cocktails. The food was innovative and delicious. We had the ribs, the sticky rice balls, and the trout. It was all excellent and and well presented. We will definitely go again our next time in Seattle!“

“We used Buddha Brudda catering for our wedding at Treehouse Point in July 2025. Not only were Drea and the entire team incredibly easy to work with leading up to the day, but the food was FANTASTIC, and the whole dinner service and bartending staff were so kind and accommodating the day of.
We worked with Drea to customize a menu that fit our needs, which included family-style service instead of buffet, which worked beautifully for our small group of 20 guests. We also opted for pre-dinner appetizers (charcuterie cones, egg rolls, etc) and late-night snacks (sliders, mac salad cups) for our overnight guests, which everyone LOVED!!
Keep in mind they do not do linens, plates/cutlery (beyond bamboo/plastic) or glassware, but were extremely accommodating by picking up/dropping off our rental order from a nearby events company. It was a HUGE help and one less thing for us to arrange.
Our guests absolutely loved the food - all of the appetizers, dinner, late night snacks, and on-the-fly sangria the bartender made with wine/tea/lemonade was fantastic.
I highly recommend Buddha Brudda for your catering needs if you want a relaxed, yummy, yet elegant dining experience!“

“The food was excellent!! I had the fish sandwich and my brother had the pork katsu sandwich…very very good. The fries are not good, they are the fresh ones like in n out, so if you like those then I guess you will like these. Mac salad was very very very good and we also had a malasada. The malasada was not great, I would skip it.
The views are maybe the best of the Seattle skyline you will get…there is also a water ferry dock that will take you to downtown I believe. There is also a place to rent kayaks and paddle boards.“

Our waitress was very nice and suggested to split burger before we even asked (our family likes to share). We even made a reservation in two weeks to take other friends there! Definitely recommend!“

“This has been somewhere I've been looking to try for a while, especially the Loco Moco Scotch Egg, which is what I ordered
The dish is an fascinating combination of a couple different things - Loco Moco, which is a hamburger patty with egg and white rice, and a Scotch Egg, which
is a boiled egg wrapped in ground beef, that's then deep fried.
This leans more onto the Scotch Egg part of things, as it's a fried & breaded ground beef ball with a soft-boiled egg in the middle, but the Loco Moco part of it is that it comes over rice and with gravy, and also mac salad
For me, the concept of this dish ended up being more interesting than the actual result
There were certainly some highlights. The egg was perfectly soft-boiled with a slightly runny yolk inside, the ground beef tasted quite good, and the mac salad was especially excellent - it had a certain spice to it that was delightful
The gravy was fine, but nothing special
The main issue was with the breading of the beef. It was really soggy, to the point that it just didn't taste like anything except like a covering that was wet from the gravy. There wasn't the slightest hint of crunch, or anything more than a damp blanket over the beef. Since the breading comprised a large portion of the volume of the meal, since there wasn't much to like about it, this lowered the overall experience
Also, the rice was on the drier side. This got better after mixing with gravy, but it was not great at the start
We also got the fried cauliflower as an appetizer - and this was decent - the upper parts were a bit lacking in sauce, but the light breading worked wel here
The price was on the expensive side, as it was $40 per person. The portions are decent, but not overwhelming. I think there are cheaper spots all along Chinatown that work better if you're looking for value
Overall, it's an interesting concept, but there are some issues here that prevent it from being a spot I really enjoyed. 7/10“

“I had a fantastic experience at this pho restaurant! The large bowl of pho was just \\$16, and it was worth every penny. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion of meat was generous—tender slices of beef that were cooked perfectly and filled every bite. The noodles were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the fresh herbs and toppings added great balance to the dish. It’s clear they care about quality and flavor here. On top of that, the service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and checked in just the right amount. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed atmosphere. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning to come back. If you're looking for a great bowl of pho with great value and service, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!“

“This has always been my time favorite restaurant in Seattle! I love that I can order some fish tacos or tortas to-go, especially in the summer when it’s just so pleasant to eat outside. I love the fusion of Mexican, Asian, and Pacific Islander cultures in the food because it represents the cultures in Seattle, especially south end.“

“Let me start by saying that this restaurant is a hole in the wall type of place, so I am reviewing it based on what it is, not through the lens of the next big restaurant on the Seattle scene. The food was delicious, hot, fast, and fresh. I was craving pho on a cooler day and stopped in. I couldn’t choose, so I went with the Saigon special pho, which was just all the types of beef - tendon, brisket, steak, meatball, and tripe. I don’t prefer tripe so I asked them to hold it and it came out perfectly. Occasionally in the past I’ve asked for the same and other restaurants have just given me steak and brisket and left out the other meats. I was pleased they left in the meatball and tendon (my favorite treat in pho).I also ordered the tapioca shrimp cake per another review’s suggestion. I’d never had them before but really like it. When I ordered they asked if it was okay that it would take extra time, I didn’t mind because that means it’s fresh. However, it did come after my pho, in case you’re looking for a pre-meal snack. I wasn’t really sure what to expect so I will leave a detailed description in case you’d like to try as well. The tapioca shrimp cakes are very chewy, almost like a long stuffed boba. The filling is a mix of shrimp, pork, and some seasonings, and it’s served with a side of that light colored thin sauce often served at Vietnamese restaurants (sorry, I don’t know the name). It’s also garnished with scallion and fried shallot (yum). My initial bite i didn’t like because I felt it was too fishy and the textures were a bit new but by the time I got to the second cake, I was loving it. I did add a little soy sauce which I think balanced it for my palette. I do encourage you to try if you haven’t before, I found it delightful. I also love chewy textures like boba and tendon, so do keep that in mind if you don’t.Pho broth was delicious and hot. Brisket and tendon was cooked well, meatball tasted good and standard compared to others I’ve had. The steak was slightly thicker than I prefer and it was well done, so I think they might cook it separately instead of pouring the broth over raw. In any case it was still a delicious bowl. Medium was a good amount for dinner and with the shrimp cakes it was more than enough. I also LOVED that they served with plenty of basil. I’m often served pho with decent broth, a lot of noodles, and minimal basil but this place had a very tasty rich broth, a good amount of meat, and enough basil for my taste (which I’d hard to do). I would come again and i probably will.Delicious!P.S. good chili oil at the table.
Vegetarian options: I was surprised at how many choices they had. A full veg section on the menu, plus options for pho & appetizers. Options looked tasty but I didn’t try.“

“The Seven Flavor Beef was a well know West Seattle favorite of the new owner’s former now closed restaurant, Lee’s Asian. He had added it to the Judy Fu menu. A bit too salty this time around. Reduce the salt and you’ll have a new neighbor winner. Folks in West Seattle have gone without their Seven Flavor Beef fix for so long have wondered. So here you go.“

“The friendly staff made the meal very enjoyable. We had baby back ribs, wagyu beef, cuddly kale, beef tartare and a bottle of soju. The beef tartare was flavored with sesame oil and tasted very Korean influenced. The duck fried rice was also great! Overall lovely and delicious! The only downside is that you need to walk through the hotel lobby and upstairs to get to the restrooms.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best wings in Seattle, hands down! We stopped at Golden Rooster on our way to the Seahawks game, and it was a game-changer. Walking in, the vibe was electric and welcoming, setting the tone for what would be an incredible meal. We were lucky enough to get a taste of the Korean BBQ wings (I think it was the owner who brought them over as samples!), and wow – they were beyond tasty. Those flavors sealed the deal, and we immediately ordered 30 wings, plus their sweet potato fries and some chicken strips. Everything was top-notch!
The wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the sweet potato fries were the perfect side. This place is a must-stop spot in Seattle, and it's officially our go-to before every Hawks game. Highly recommend Golden Rooster for anyone looking to kick off their night with amazing food and a killer atmosphere!“

“What a gem! As you enter this place, the decor is inviting and modern. The owners are very friendly. The fusion Korean food doesn't compromise the genuine taste of Korean food and this coming from a very picky person when it comes to korean food. The portion is huge. The bulgogi burrito is large enough for 2 people to share. We didn't order the burgers but I heard that the owners specialize in burgers. Next time I'm definitely going to try the burgers!“

“My grandsons say this is the best food they have ever eaten in their whole life. The fried chicken was perfectly crisp yet perfectly moist; the short ribs were exquisite; the pot stickers and sushi were great. We loved our flavors, food, and experience and will always come back. “What a charming place! We stumbled upon this gem on a drive thru Seattle on our way home. The food was good and service was attentive. The Meatloaf Moco Loco was INCREDIBLE. The homemade gravy was amazing. The Chili Fry Bread was good but I wasn't expecting the turkey chili to have the bit of sweetness that it did, so buyer beware. The fry bread itself was very good. They only have soda by the can so can get expensive for someone who drinks a few during a meal (looking in the mirror on this one).
It's kind of a small space and was crowded but didn't feel oppressive. There are only few large tables so parties of more than 4 might have trouble finding a table, or just be prepared for a wait. They turn over the 2 tops pretty quickly.“

“I’ve lived on Alki since 1989. I’ve seen many restaurants come and go from this location. Lotus on the Beach is the best of them all. The ability to pick from a variety of Vietnamese and Thai dishes is its strength. The owner and staff welcome any and all critiques of the food and service.“

“Amazing all around!
Clean, well lit restaurant. Even peeking into the kitchen, I could tell they take cleanliness seriously.
Service? Attentive and friendly. Also gave good suggestions and explanations, which was helpful.
The food? STAR OF THE SHOW. Wow! I had the Mala Pho with beef. The flavor is amazing and multi layored. Yes, it's spicy, but the flavor is so good that I couldn't stop, even after sweating! Broccoli and Bok choy are popping with freshness, the beef is tender, and the noodles are perfectly cooked so that they are soft & silky without becoming mushy. My wife had the Lemongrass Bowl. She loved it so much that there wasn't a single morsel left! My daughter, who doesn't typically like anything outside of mac-n-cheese and chicken fingers, tried some of my wife's dish, and she really liked it!
We also had the chicken skewers and the garlic wings as appetizers. My daughter, who is very picky, loved the wings! Crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. The chicken skewers were delicious as well.
Lastly, I treated myself to a couple of the Meekong Mules-- a Vietnamese take on a Moscow Mule. The fresh basil makes all the difference, and it's wonderfully refreshing!
If we lived in Seattle, we'd be regulars for sure. Visited twice in our five day stay already and might go again tonight!“

“So good. Jappanese, Korean, Chinese, they're doing it all. Portions are big. We went 2 days in a row despite there being 100 other restaurants nearby. Got a spicy teriyaki bento box one day, and General Tao the next. Both were excellent. All meals come with mixed greens and a nice vinagrette, and potstickers. Just go, you wont regret it.“

“We are smitten with the oxtail Khao Soi but lately have been opting for the newer Wagyu (both A5 & Japanese are to die for!) I wish they were open on Mondays - that's when I have the worst craving for Khao Soi! My brother likes the tenderloin or braised beef. We've tried all of them except for goat... but that's because we are so satisfied and craving the Oxtail and the wagyu!! Also there is a very tasty deconstructed Passion Fruit pie with i think a shortbread component and a torched meringue star topping - so soooo good! You MUST try Ginger & Scallion - you won't be sorry!!! I am trying to convince them to open a location closer to the Lynnwood/Lake Forest Park area where I live/work! I'd go every day....“

“We have been trying to go to this spot for 3 years lol. Been unlucky every time we try coming. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Beef Skewers, Kuyteav, and Lort Cha. The Papaya Salad from spicy levels 1-5 3 is crazzzy hot but the salads good. Kuyteav was super good, brother nice and not super savory. But to have an idea of whats in it would be helpful for future customers. Beef skewers were perfect as Cambodians know how to grill that beef. The best dish of the day that I had was the Lort Cha where the noodles are finely made into needles like shapes and from the squid to the nice sweet fish sauces tasting fried egg, you were on the road for success lol. To finish off the day we had some smoothies mango and avocado. Got some pictures, wish I took more. For the 4 dishes plus the smoothies were about $116. (DO NOTE, Khmer food is a delicacy type of food which some cases takes a while to prepare unlike other Asian foods.) So some of the pricing may look crazy expensive for some but in a way, understanding. Loved it.
Tips to improve would be to add utensils, napkins, small things as this is still up and coming.“

“Soy garlic chicken was pretty tasty, well cooked, and good flavor but surprised the “bowl” didn’t come with rice. FYI the side of rice is instant rice… nonetheless the value for the bowl size is great- so much chicken! Could’ve shared a regular size bowl with 2 people.
Two standing tables only- more a grab and go type place. Wish they had more proper seating and fresh rice options included.“

“Last time I ordered a super value single meal at Haidilao Seattle, it was just right! I chose the spicy hot pot with clear oil, which was spicy enough but not too irritating, and served with Angus beef, which was cooked in 8 seconds. The meat was tender and juicy, super satisfying! The portion was just right, and it wouldn't be wasted if I ate it alone, and I felt so happy after eating it~😋“
