“This was a great experience. Probably the highlight of our trip for my 11 year old. The pastries were super fresh and flakes. The coffee was smooth and delicious. The atmosphere was great but it was pretty slow when we were there. I think it would get really loud with event moderate amount of people.“
“Excellent Starbucks destination! I love taking our friends and family here when they visit as part of the signature Seattle experience. Unlike regular locations, they have their own bakery, gorgeous iron ovens, and they serve alcoholic drinks. They will make your drink with an AeroPress, chemex, pour-over, Clover, or a few other options. Their whiskey barrel-aged cold brew is amazing. My gluten-eating friends and family tell me that the bakery items are incredible. Being fresh baked and with high quality ingredients. This is a great place to visit, and a place I go to again and again.“
“Been a starbucks going all my life. Love how strong the coffee is and how consistent my coffee tastes. Breakfast sandwhichs are good if you are on the go and don't have time to bake. Barisitas and managers are typically very well trained and welcome you to the store very enthusiastic.“
“I went to this Starbucks on Monday and had a pretty good experience overall. The atmosphere in the store is nice—not too noisy—so it's perfect whether you want to sit back and enjoy a coffee slowly or handle some things temporarily. What's great is there are plenty of seats, so you never have to worry about not finding a spot—that's a big plus.
Surprisingly, the restrooms are really clean, no bad odors at all, and they're well-maintained. That definitely deserves a shout-out. However, compared to the Starbucks in Edmonds, the coffee here is a bit more expensive. It would be even better if there were some promotions in the future. All in all, it's worth coming back!“
“Great neighborhood coffee shop, the staff are really friendly and efficient and I enjoy getting a drink here fairly regularly.
To get a 5 star review and to encourage me to stay and sit down, the seating area could be a bit cosier. It seems clean but slightly run-down.“
“My favorite starbucks by far! There’s great staff who are extremely friendly and nice. The drinks are very well made. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with plenty of nice people and regulars in groups! They are very pet friendly and you can meet a large range of very friendly dogs! There is lots seating indoor and out with heated seats outside. The location is perfect and they are always fast to create your order.“
“Good experience today- 11:00 on a Saturday (except for the customer who couldn’t seem to get over herself when we grabbed her coffee cup mistakingly. You say you’re genuinely sorry and try to be friendly and get nothing but Seattle freeze🤦🏼♀️.) The staff were welcoming, fast, efficient, very polite, customer oriented, friendly towards me and my friend, put up with me ordering the wrong bagel, then grabbing the wrong cup, asking for a knife to butter the bagel when it was right in front of me. They forgot I needed butter with my correct bagel, but hey, they were busy, and I’ll take a friendly experience over being too critical. Ditsy moments for me, but my experience here this time around, after a year or more hiatus was much better. Music wasn’t too loud, lots of nice space and a bar with morning sunshine, clean tables outside.“
“Stopped by the Starbucks near the Amazon building and loved that it opens as early as 4:30 a.m. It is perfect for early risers like me. The store is very clean and well-organized, with a calm and efficient vibe even in the early hours. Street parking is available nearby, and there’s also the option to park in the Amazon building. A solid go-to spot if you’re in the area before the city fully wakes up.
JY review“
“This is a very cozy place clean and very friendly stuff. This is a very typical Seattle Starbucks with lots of friendly people working, with ambience with variety of the coffee food. The most important thing is the place is very good. This is much better to come with many others Starbucks I visited before. Good job highly recommended to have a nice coffee or snack.“
“The staff here has a prodigious memory. I came in frequently for a few weeks last summer, ordering the same thing each time. I actually changed my name in the Starbucks app to Eeeeee to make it easier to hear, and they still knew it was me and used my actual name. Fast-forward a year, and I only come in occasionally, but they still know my name and will hand my drink directly to me when they see me. Starbucks sells a feeling of comfort & belonging, and this location excels at it.“
“This place is much cleaner than others! By far my favorite Starbucks. The summer berry lemonade refresher is so good! In fact, the only bad part is that the drink is seasonal. But the employees are gast and nice! I definetly think Bryce should be promoted. I go in the morning just to see him sometimes! 10/10 starbucks!“
“I absolutely love this location. It's always very clean and organized in the interior, and the drinks are always perfect. I typically order online, but have started ordering in person because of how fast and genuine the staff is here. Easily the best Starbucks in Seattle in my opinion.“
“This is the second Starbucks store ever, store 302, which came after original the very first pike place Starbucks, store 301. This store has been there like forever, but not too long ago they have renovated , which has certainly improved the vibes.
It's has seating inside and outside, some coming work space with charging points, high bar style stools and pick up station.
Staff is always nice to talk to here, service is great, with option to get your 'cup of joe' in to-go disposable cups or in-store Starbucks mugs.
All in all, I like this place, good staff, nice vibes, nice location.
Parking is available in university village mall if one is lucky to find it , depends on time and day. There is bus stop also right outside , which provides easy public transport accessibility.“
“Kloie was sweet, it was early morning and made a foolish mistake of pushing my laptop that made my passion tea fell off. I felt bad but they were nice about it, told me to not worry about cleaning it up and even gave me a replacement without me asking. They were a tight crew like a machine, and if you cant find the outlets, its under the sofa <3“
“This is my favorite Starbucks 2nd only to the roastery but that's a whole different business! This spot is ALWAYS fast and makes my drink perfectly! I order in the app on my way in from King Street Station and my drink is always waiting for me! This Pineapple Cloud Cake has me on cloud 9! ?“
“A local neighborhood Starbucks, near my residence with friendly service and reliable hours. Its nice to see the same baristas each morning, and the service is always fast and friendly.
Parking: If you cant park in the lot, street parking is usually available in the AM“
“Starbucks☕️
601 Union St, Seattle, WA 98101
This Starbucks is a little hidden, but the location is very comfortable and quiet. You will fall in love with this place after you come here once. Go up the stairs to the central outdoor square (pay attention to find the flags of various countries). The baristas in this store have really good service smiles. The latte and banana cake I ordered were ready very quickly. They also came to ask if I needed a glass of water and brought a glass of iced water. There is a lot of space inside and outside the store. You can also sit outdoors in the central square and relax with a cup of coffee here!“
“Sofie is the best. And I don't leave reviews too often. But some people need to be put on The spotlight, and be recognized for how awesome they are! Always puts a smile on my face when I. Get coffee! Regardless of what mood I was in when i came in for my order.“
“I have been here a few times and I always use their drive-through. I don’t have the most typical order but they always get it correct and I really appreciate that. I always get exactly what I am expecting here and I get it very quickly. They seem to have a good staff here and I will continue to Visit this location.“
“They are really nice in this Starbucks! They really know their drinks and are very willing to make any changes for gluten and dairy. They help in a very kind way, and it is very much appreciated.
Dietary restrictions: They help accommodate for dairy free beverages and are very kind about it, and patient!“
“Everyone working there is super nice! It's not that long of a wait. Great food and drinks, of course. The store itself doesn't have seating, but the seats nearby have great views of the rink. It is one of my favorite Starbucks to order at.“
“Shout out to manager Crystal for handling a very rude, very misogynistic customer. The customer was furious that cream is an additional $4.50, for two coffees it would total to $9. His tensions raised and when the woman cashier kept telling him that's the price, he insisted on talking to the male barista behind her, who had nothing to do with the order. Manager Crystal came to the window, told him the price, and requested that after this transaction to no longer come back because he has been harassing the employees, all the while the customer was talking to me trying to get me to agree with him (I didn't, the employees have to follow prices set by corporate). Tensions raised, his wife comes over and insists she's part of corporate, and assuming I was still involved in this conversation (since he was talking to me about 15 seconds ago, I assumed I was still part of this discussion) I told hee to contact corporate then and not harass employees. More words were exchanged, the rude customers called me and my partner a slur and the employees were again left shaken by this interaction with this man, who was mad over... Cream. That he can get at Safeway for $2.
Shout out to this team, this location has kept me caffeinated for 2 years while I have lived and worked in the Ballard neighborhood, and I have never had a negative experience. Food service employees work very hard and take a lot of guff. Be nice, tip them well, and thank them for their hard work. Thank you Crystal and the rest of your team.“
“After a long drive from Vancouver, I parked at this Starbucks. I noticed they had a nitrogen vanilla coffee being served here. I couldn't resist.
First off, my hat goes off for the staff here. Talk about hospitality. I was asking if I could use there washroom first after a long drive from Canada, and reassured them I would buy something. The gentlemen at the counter responded back by saying, no need to buy anything I'll give you the code for the washroom. After that I asked for directions to Chinatown and pike market, they were spot on and also suggested a bus that would take us there. Then I asked for change for parking, they said not needed it's Sunday it's free all day. Wow.
The nitrogen cold brew did not disappoint. I loved how it was prepared.
The taste is also memorable. Light, refreshing, sophisticated.
The staff is wonderful here.“
“Big shoutout to Anthony at Starbucks — super friendly, kind and helpful. You can tell he really cares about great service. Appreciate the good vibes every time! During our stay at Sheraton one of our to go drinks place just because of Anthony made such an enjoyable experience.“
“MARIA, she is very skilled and customer-friendly! She alone was working when I got there for my drinks and there were a few of us in the line. She was very interactive, making suggestions from the menu. When my order was made, she ensured I was pleased! Thank you…..it was probably the best I’ve ever had from a Starbucks!PS: I really don’t remember if Maria was her name but she has black hair, and about 5’5”. Very beautiful. Anyway thank you for amazing service ?“
“One of the favorite Starbucks~
The location is so relaxing, the vibe is like a small beach town. The staffs are always so nice, quite a busy store but they tried their best to keep the store clean. I come here grab a cup of coffee before the walk around the lake, sometimes just watching people ?. Love the store“
“Heather was incredibly kind and helpful each of the 3 days I came in during a work trip! Andon (I hope I've spent that correctly!) was also so nice and made me feel welcomed! Wonderful staff, drinks were consistently good, and great atmosphere in the morning time.“
“Delivery person here. A $30 single cold coffee just fell over. Inside the bag. It was on a flat surface. There was no way I could’ve prevented it. Please pack better. I don’t know if it wasn’t pushed inside the tray properly? Or if it was just too heavy to be in a double tray inside a bag Alone without more support. Thank you.“
“Friendly and helpful barista ?Had problem with my Starbucks apps the whole day to claim my bday reward. After checking internally, they advised me to contact the customer service hotline in the future. In addition, they nicely offered me my complimentary bday drink.Love the festive xmas-y Peppermint Mocha, loaded with lotsa whipped cream & sprinkles ~ ??Thank u~! ?“
“This place is amazing. Let’s start with the beautiful leather real artistic wood furniture. Then the place is super clean. They are friendly and greet you when you walk in. I’ve never been served a breakfast wrap on a cute little recyclable platter with plastic cullery. The standard in every Starbucks I’ve even been to is just in a bag (even if you’re dining in). And the Queen Anne neighborhood is quite charming. I found a gem.“
“It's not too bad, maybe add more seats for more people.
Vegetarian options: Many options available
Kid-friendliness: Many usual kids friendly drinks
Parking: Many floors and spots for parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Usual target entrance
Dietary restrictions: Had many different milk and combo available“
“This place is good but nothing special. The staff is nice and drinks don’t take terribly long. They have very minimal merchandise though (cups) and there’s hardly anywhere to sit. This isn’t the kind of place you’d want to settle in and read or work remote or meet with friends. NOT a drive through location, but parking is easy.“
“Obviously as always Starbucks drinks are great and delicious. The only problem i faced was when I went in the night they only allow drive thru access and I was walking. I went through the drive through anyway and they refused to take my order. This I somewhat understand but still feel that this could have been better resolved. Just remember that after around 8pm it’s only drive thru. But then i went again the next morning as it’s right next to my hotel and loved the drinks.“
“This Starbucks team is exceptional—truly a cut above other branches. Their customer service is outstanding, and they consistently craft my drinks with care and precision. Every other Sunday after church, I make it a point to visit, and I’m always greeted with warmth and cheerfulness. I truly appreciate this amazing crew—keep up the fantastic work!“
“Be very careful if you're going to drive through this Starbucks. Definitely the tightest drive-thru I've ever been through anywhere. If you're not an excellent driver then just park and go inside. Otherwise, the Starbucks is totally fine, exactly like all the others, consistently good drinks and food. Service was great.“
“Trader Joe's has the best stuff. Most of their stuff is by companies that make using only healthy ingredients. You do have to read the labels, because there are some things that have bad oils, etc. They don't read the labels for you, but they do have mostly naturally made stuff.“
“The baristas here have always been quite friendly, and it has been nice to sit at one of the provided tables and enjoy my beverage.Something I don't quite understand is how they can fly the Starbucks name and have their menu, yet remain unaffiliated with Starbucks. It is truly a puzzling situation. Is that the case for all Starbucks in other stores or just this one?“
“Staff worked up a storm on New Year's Eve. They were the only store open late at night, and the line went on forever. Still, they made sure EVERYONE got their order (including mine ?)Have always been friendly whenever I stop by, even though they have to deal with tourists“
“Came in here the morning of Saturday June 14 and was really impressed. Hadn't been in a Starbucks for quite a while for various reasons, but the service was phenomenal. Staff was friendly, helpful, proactive, and whenever things were quiet, delivered orders directly to the person, even using their name. Great staff that made the experience positive!! I wish this location was closer to my house!“
“I went in at 6:45 to get my daily drink and the lady at the cash register who is always really nice, said we are closed.. same thing happened yesterday. I don’t understand? It says it’s open till 7. If not, change your hours. It’s a waste of time driving to your location to be turned away 15min prior to closing.“
“I think Starbucks is a very good coffee shop for me to go into especially now that I can go get my single Americano in either call or grande style I think that works pretty good and I sure like their point system it works very well for me besides that if I start earning points then I can actually get a reward for it because other coffee companies or coffee shop do I go to sometimes they have a point system where you earn up to 10 free points or whatever it is and you get a free cup of coffee or whatever and that's what I like about this because it saves a lot of people time and effort to go into a coffee shop like this to get their coffee and whatever else they need but I think what's really nice about is that I think one of their promotions would be later on is if you go out and get a cup of coffee from them they might offer you an idea to get one of those some Starbucks cards which are preloaded and basically what it is if you get one of those that's great and that's why the reason why I have one of those Starbucks cards to wear it basically I can get into a gold system or something like that that's what I have although I haven't used it lately but I'm going to think about starting to use it anyway when it's all said and done since I've only had that particular card for about 9 years it's very useful now if we got other people to start getting a hold of a Starbucks card which would basically mean if you gradually move into the point system or going to a tear like a gold card like what I've got basically it means you can put money on the card and that's it now if they do have you know preloaded Starbucks cards or if you can actually purchase a card all you have to do is just loaded and forget it and then when you come in to go get your coffee you have the card right there because basically they just act like a credit card and you won't have to worry about a single thing“
“Was very nive the app wasnt working when i placed a mobile.order. it was paid for but would t show up on their computer screen. They made the order for me.no problem abd it was mafe very well. Apreciated that. I have had other places not care to help in simulare situations so tge staff tgere is awsome!“
“Beautiful, comfortable space. Widely. But the bartenders are fun and welcoming to customers and will definitely come back. This place is also suitable for many busy dining areas. In particular, there is an employee named Tony who is very cute and enthusiastic“
“I don’t post often Starbucks reviews, but this one well deserves this mention. Coffee is well you know exactly what you are getting, plus usual snack selection, but the main reason to visit this shop is the staff ! Very friendly , always with a smile and make your day merry despite what mood you walked in. Thank you for this experience, as it makes such a difference! Keep doing great work !
Vegetarian options: Limited but possible
Dietary restrictions: Gf, df, vegetarian and vegan options
Parking: Hard to find
Kid-friendliness: Who takes kids to Starbucks?
Wheelchair accessibility: No problem“
“This place is small so you dont go here to work or lounge as there is absolutely no place. Unlike other Starbucks location this seems like thebplace you go to strictly to get and drink and bail.Lines move pretty quickly but at the same time it can pile up pretty quick.Word of advice I normally stay away during afterschool as kids getting out of school typical ransack this place.“
“I'm not sure what the question is. It is what you would expect from Starbucks a standard that surpasses the highest marks attained by any other coffee shop. It always has been that for me and I just take for granted it always will be. Starbucks is the epitome of what coffee shops should be. Period. B-)“
“I went to this Starbucks every morning that I was in Seattle. I was visiting a relative that doesn't drink coffee. I had never been in a Starbucks before. I used the time to catch up on my email, texts and phone messages. I will be visiting again this Summer and will frequent this establishment again.“
“Had to try a pumpkin spice latte and see what all of the hype is about. Great service with a smile and my drink was delicious! Doubt I'll become an addict, but I will be having another. Warmed me up and gave me some much needed energy! Thanks Starbucks!“
“The OG Starbucks store where it all started!
How cool is this? I love that the original location is still a fully running store that coffee lovers and Starbucks enthusiasts can visit. The store is located in Pike Place Market, hence the name of their signature coffee blend. Fair warning: the lines for this store are pretty long! I think I waited about an hour on a weekend.
Inside there are tons of special merchandise, a full menu, and lots of items you’ll only find here. The baristas at this store are a cut above other locations. The coffee was on par with other craft coffee shops in Seattle.
Overall, I’d say if you love Starbucks then this is worth a visit if you’re in Seattle.“
