“Another nice dinner. Enjoyed both the Artichoke and Shrimp appetizers to start. Linguine Mare was wonderful, loaded with seafood! My friend enjoyed the roasted chicken. Did not order dessert. Overall a very tasty dinner from start to finish.“

“This was our first time dining in the restaurant. We had Rimini cater an event and that was fantastic, but this was another level of fun and community. The food was exceptional, the entertainment and bringing people together was so much fun. We are 30 plus year Kirkand residents and business owners and this was the most fun we’ve had downtown in a long time!“

“the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

“My family and I regularly go to the Ballard Farmers’ Market and get pizza slices from Vespucci, a pizza vendor with the best pizza in Seattle - hands down. When we found out that they had an Italian restaurant we knew we just had to go. And so we did. All I can say is that the food is some of the best I have ever had, and you just need to try it out for yourself because the whole experience is amazing.“

“I feel like this is a must try place if you’re at all able to. It’s pricey, but seattle doesn’t have many options like it. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. We were actually more impressed with how the simpler ingredients like the vegetables shined. It’s a great experience for a very special occasion. One thing to check is if you like the flavors incorporated into the menus. There’s 4 different options but you’re likely to experience a lot of the same flavors across different menus and different dishes (ie right now peas are in season so they used those across all menus and lots of dishes were Parmesan and morel mushroom heavy). If you really dislike a certain flavor and it is heavy on all the menus maybe wait a season :) that said I loved the flavors when I went but if someone didn’t they might repeatedly be let down by the various courses. Our reservation was for an early dinner around 5 and it started out quiet and fairly empty and by the time we finished around 8 it was quite busy and a bit louder. We had a wonderful time and will be back to try another season’s menu“

“La Fontana Siciliana: Belltown's Authentic Sicilian Gem Check my IG lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more pictures and videos of our dining experience. La Fontana Siciliana is a Belltown restaurant offering genuine Sicilian cuisine in a welcoming setting. This Italian eatery is perfect for intimate dinners or larger gatherings, including potential venues for small weddings or family celebrations. We enjoyed a recent meal there and had the pleasure of meeting Rodrigo, the owner who took over two and a half years ago. His passion for Sicilian food is evident in every dish. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a versatile atmosphere. Our meal began with the flavorful melanzane a la parmigiana and a refreshing spinach soup. For our main course, we savored the tortellini cefalu, fettuccine ai funghi, and fettuccine al pesto, all cooked with high-quality ingredient were extremely delicious. The portions were generous, leaving us satisfied but not overly full. To finish, we indulged in the house-made tiramisu and limoncello panna cotta. The tiramisu was a particular standout, beautifully presented in a way that felt almost like a birthday surprise (and they didn’t know mine was just a few days away!). La Fontana Siciliana is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Sicilian food in Seattle. Its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service make it a Belltown favorite. We will definitely go back! 🤩“

“Our meal at Cinque Terre was amazing. That was seriously some of the best pesto I've ever had. My husband's boar pasta had plenty of meat in the sauce. The pasta was fresh. And they even had some good mocktails - as a non-drinker, I appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to create drinks that make me feel welcomed. The atmosphere was peaceful - not too loud in any way. I would absolutely recommend this place“

“We had a meal here for our first time. It was an absolutely wonderful atmosphere and delicious! We ordered a margarita pizza, veggie pizza, eggplant parm, standard pasta and sauce, and more. All of it was fresh and made to perfection. The kids got some gelato and we packed a tiramisu to go- all of which were delicious as well. I highly recommend!“

“Fantastic meal at an unbelievably low price for the Hill. Solid cocktails, good happy hour. Quaint little dining room and bar.
Some hiccups in service but nothing that detracts from the fact that this is, in my opinion, the best pasta in the area for a price FAR lower than some of the most well-known spots on Pike, Pine, and Broadway.“

“For over 20 years we have enjoyed every meal on the menu. They are the only restaurant that I know that make their own pastas, sauces, bread, and desserts. What a difference that makes. Everything is fresh tasting and satisfying. The meatballs are so light and tasty, eat them slowly to enjoy every bite. Not only are their pastas and pizzas delicious so are their appetizers. I love how they roast their eggplant and they serve it in an incredibly rich tomato sauce with Gorgonzola on the side. Their steak is cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce, a grilled pepper, onion, and their incredible handcut shoestring fries that are to die for!! Enjoy“

“We were looking for great pasta before a concert at CPA, and found this delicious spot that was under a 15min walk. Great service and super fresh ingredients. I loved the heirloom tomatoes and the vodka pasta. Everything was top notch though! Would choose to dine indoors next time though due to the foot traffic engaging with our meal.“

“My favorite place to eat in Ballard - the food, the staff and the atmosphere are all a delight, every time! They even cater to special dietary requirements and do a vegan pizza with actual vegan cheese (rather than just the bland stuff you’d normally get in most places), and their wholewheat crust is to die for! They also do the best dolma and the best hummus veggie platter. My whole family and I keep coming back, thank you!“

“Very nice atmosphere at this location which is nestled inside of the 'Starbucks Reserve Roastery' building, solid bakery goods are offered here at semi-reasonable prices, and the place has an upper class environment and decor.
Staff can be very busy sometimes as the place is often very crowded with tourists and commutera alike, as this is a Flagship starbucks location with a little bakery/cafe nestled inside.
Prices are semi-reasonable although not the best for consistent visits. Altogether I would say this is a place to stop to treat yourself, but not an everyday place.
Coffee is available through starbucks at the other side of their shared building.
Vegetarian options: They have vegan and vegetarian options, although not a large number of them.
Parking: The location is difficult to find parking at due to proximity to a large amount of other high traffic businesses on the southwestern side of Capitol Hill, but it's rather accessible via public transit and by foot.
Kid-friendliness: I would refrain from taking small children here, and would try not to take anyone who isn't 16+ as the environment is difficult due to how busy it tends to be.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accesibility is solidly available at this location. They have wheelchair accessible doors and transit between upper and lower floors.“

“Grandma and I had such a wonderful experience at Assaggio during our visit to Seattle! It's been a while since we were last here (we live in Boise), but we couldn't have been happier with our evening. Our waiter, Chet, was fantastic — he let us enjoy a relaxed, casual pace, made an excellent wine suggestion, and provided attentive, thoughtful service throughout. The food was just as memorable. Grandma loved her classic spaghetti bolognese, and my gnocchi was absolutely perfect. We shared a spectacular caprese salad to start, and finished the night with delicious coffee and a limoncello gelato that was truly out of this world. We're already looking forward to our next trip back to Assaggio — and of course, to seeing Chet again!“

“This is a stunning place to get a meal to cook at home, to take to the beach for a picnic, or hang out in their small lounge for an Italian happy hour. I absolutely love all the food. I have tried a lot of it at La Spiga, but there is stuff that you can get here that you can’t get at La Spiga. Everything comes in a perfect size and all the accompaniments you could think of are here. I have catered full on parties with items I’ve gotten from here and the reviews are always rave. People always ask me where they can get the food, and I tell them La Dispensa! It doesn’t hurt that it is located in the absolutely adorable Chophouse Row building in Capitol Hill.
Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: You can get gluten free and vegan options here
Parking: Parking is terrible but pickup is easy w a priority pick up space w a 30 minute limit
Kid-friendliness: Kids LIVE La Dispensa
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible through chophouse row“

“With restaurant prices in Seattle so high, my husband and I are very particular about when, where and why we go out, so we tend to have very high expectations when we do go out. Last night was my husband’s birthday and we chose to give Lioness a try. We had a fabulous time! The service was perfect, our servers were so nice and perfectly attentive without hovering. I ordered the Lioness martini, and at $25, I was expecting something out of this world. It delivered! We ordered the burrata, Billy’s tomatoes, gem lettuces and the cavatelli pasta. Each dish was fantastic! There have been reviews complaining that you only get one slice of bread with the burrata, but the slice was big, thick and perfectly toasted, it was plenty for sharing the dish! The tomatoes had a nice spice, chili oil? Beautifully balanced. The gem lettuce salad was delicious, again a good balance between the nuttiness of roasted hazelnut in the vinaigrette and the salty creaminess of the grated cheese on top, The cavatelli was my least favorite, the pasta was a bit heavy for the sauce, I felt that a spaghetti or angel hair, being more delicate, would have been better with the fantastic sauce, but it was still delicious! We finished the meal with the chocolate cake, a beautiful sweet but not too sweet ending to a great meal. When you are spending over $200 for two, you want it to be worth it and our experience at Lioness was. Thank you Renee and you wonderful staff!“
