“I come here with my partner at least 1 time a week! The food is so affordable and delicious ($45 max for both of us to eat our fill plus a sake). The service is minimal, as they'll sit you and maybe bring you a drink. I always have to flag someone down to pay, get more chopsticks, ask for drinks, etc, but it doesn't bother me enough to care too much. It's conveyor belt sushi, so I expect to take care of myself compared to other restaurants.

The nori fries are so delicious, and I'm always getting the pork gyoza and salmon sashimi. They have great karagge but you do have to ask for the spicy sauce for it. They also have sweet and sour sauce you can ask for, for the spring rolls. I take everyone I know here and they're always happy! It's easy to get seated around 7 pm, I've found, too.“

“Been here once and impressed. Ordered the special, soup and sandwich, who’d guess. M ore filling than bread; fresh tasting focaccia style bread, fresh tomato and greens, all good things! Soup was good. They have 12+ soups on hand. My clam chowder was perfect. Usual style chowder, wasn’t watery or overcooked so perfect.
If you want soup with variety of accompaniments this place fits the bill.

I pre studied the menu and ordered immediately. Had a beer in 1 minute and food within 15 minutes of walking in the door. The sushi A combo is a winner! “Went here for Valentine's Day at 9 pm, about a 15-30 min wait, they gave my girl a rose when we sat down. There are SO many options for broth, meat, vegetables, tons of seafood and tofu options. It took us at least 15 mins to decide what we wanted. No cold desert options after 9 pm. Still gave us the free soft serve at the end though.
If it's your first time, highly recommend basic bone broth/spicy broth duo, pork and beef combo ring, cabbage, yam sticks, dumplings, udon noodles. For just broth n meat and no extras, expect to spend about $30-$40 total. All extras cost about $4.50-$12.
Highly recommend the fried rice cakes for desert.
For sauce bar, mix peanuts, peanut/sesame paste, a little chilli oil, a little oyster or hoisin sauce, green onions, cilantro, with a little soy sauce, (optionally add vinegar).
The servers don't check up on you too much after ordering unless it's to refill your broth. You can take everything leftover home, including broth for round 2 at home. 10/10 highly recommend.“

I think more could be done with the decor, and it was understaffed, but the food was AMAZING! I can see why it is so highly rated - the meat is perfectly bribed or seasoned or whatever magic they do to make it tender and infused with flavor throughout. We had the Gyro plate and the Beef Shwarma plate along with the Baba Ganoush - each was excellent in their own way, and the garlic dressing in the accompanying salads is to kill for. We ordered fish cakes as an appetizer, Pad Thai and crispy garlic fried chicken as our main dishes, and Thai tea for drinks. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and thoughtfully packed up our leftover drinks to take home. We would definitely come back if we have the chance. 🥰“

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

The bun bo hue was delicious and a welcome change from the salt bomb broths I’ve become accustomed to from Vietnamese noodle soups in Seattle. The flavors were nuanced and not too heavy or salty. I especially enjoyed the tender pork knuckle and the (homemade?) small meatballs flecked with what tasted and appeared to be makrut lime leaves. I knew these were not going to be made from start to finish at order but they were barely warm. If that aspect changed I’d probably go back but until I hear from someone else I need my food HOT!“

“This is a small restaurant with limited sit down seating. They do a robust takeout and delivery business so they are always busy. The servers are not on top of you but they are responsive if you need something. Food comes out as it's done.

The food is delicious, we got several things a noodle soup, beef tenderloin, chive and pork dumplings, and pork and the pickled cabbage noodle dish.

The noodle soup fish broth was amazing and so flavorful. You can choose you noodles and I chose the normal noodles which were very good. One of the toppings we chose was the pickled vegetables and they were so good.

The beef tenderloin is an appetizer and served on a bed of lettuce. The beef is so tender and the sauce on the lettuce was very good. We were a little unsure about the lettuce but it was amazing.

The dumplings are obviously homemade and they were very good. They were large and stuffed with filling.

The pork and pickled cabbage was very good. It is spicy, we thought it was a 4 out of 5 on the white people scale of spicy.“

Because it’s been the same people running the place for the 20 years I’ve come here. The prices are great, there are many specials you can choose from if you’re craving for salty & sweet, they have a katsu/teriyaki special. For me, I always get the chicken super combo, for $21, you get the chicken teriyaki, salad & rice, potstickers and an egg roll. The people who run the business are the sweetest people , I think the husband and wife switch off on shifts because they’re always open.“

Any pan-fried dumpling dish is a MUST, and they also do green beans!
