“I come here with my partner at least 1 time a week! The food is so affordable and delicious ($45 max for both of us to eat our fill plus a sake). The service is minimal, as they'll sit you and maybe bring you a drink. I always have to flag someone down to pay, get more chopsticks, ask for drinks, etc, but it doesn't bother me enough to care too much. It's conveyor belt sushi, so I expect to take care of myself compared to other restaurants.

The nori fries are so delicious, and I'm always getting the pork gyoza and salmon sashimi. They have great karagge but you do have to ask for the spicy sauce for it. They also have sweet and sour sauce you can ask for, for the spring rolls. I take everyone I know here and they're always happy! It's easy to get seated around 7 pm, I've found, too.“

“Tried this very special “takeout only omakase sushi box”, Edomae style ( use cured/aged fish, and red vinegar seasoning in rice). The executive chef, chef Ryo, has worked in many renowned restaurant including Michelin star sushi restaurant “Sushi Sho”. Before joining this new restaurant “Ltd Edition Sushi” in capitol hill, he worked side by side with chef Nakazawa-an icon of edomae style in Japan, at both Sushi Sho Tokyo and Sushi Sho Honolulu. The sushi omakase box and kids fish bowl are both very sophisticated, the curing and aging techniques brings out the deep complex flavor of each fish and gives each fish this extra tender texture, the taste profile as such is hard to find here in Seattle. Chef sake flight ( we tried Haneya Junmai Ginjo and Hidakami Junmai today), one is floral and one on the dry side, pair with his sushi very well. Sushi is in a very elegant wooden box and everything you will need for the experience including a separate soy sauce dipping dish is prepared for the guest. This is, truly, a perfect omakase takeout experience. 💕💕😋“

I pre studied the menu and ordered immediately. Had a beer in 1 minute and food within 15 minutes of walking in the door. The sushi A combo is a winner! “We stopped by after our daughter mentioned this place, and I’m so glad we did. The restaurant has a great Asian vibe, which I loved, and we were lucky enough to get seated right away in the last open booth. Service started off strong with water brought out immediately, and the waiter clearly explained the menu options.

We ordered à la carte. The food does take some time and comes out as it’s ready, so it’s best to order everything at once. But the wait was worth it. The fish was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I’m gluten-free and didn’t use any sauce, and everything still tasted amazing.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and very on top of things. They’ve been open about a year, and it really shows that they’ve maintained both quality and service — something not all places do.

For two people, we had three rolls, some nigiri and sashimi, soup, edamame, and two teas. With tip, it came out to around $100, which felt very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back.“

It’s a difficult time we are in with the pandemic of 2020, but Maneki has transitioned to take out, which it never did before, and is so organized that it blew my mind when I saw how clearly labeled each item was when I got home. This place is the best sushi I have had in my entire life, my recommendation spicy crunchy California and bagel roll (if you like cream cheese please trust me it’s so good, even if you don’t maybe try it because you may start to like it!!)
