Sandwich Shops near Deforest

“Came in today at about 11:50am on a Friday…walked in and there was about 12 people ahead of me. They had 3 employees working. All 3 women behind the counter were pleasant and moving the line along as fast as one could expect with that many individual sandwiches being made to order. Being an adult and a rational and reasonable person, I expected to wait a bit before I would get served and get my food.All said and done, the sandwich was worth the expected wait. The service industry often has unrealistic expectations thrust upon it and the workers often get the brunt of it. Todays experience is why I will continue to frequent the DeForest Subway (can’t say the same about others necessarily)“

“Every time I come here they are very attentive and kind. Henry is the best always serving me with a smile and professionalism. Not to mention the food is off the chain. I only had an apetite for one taco in the morning today and I ended up ordering two more. Prices are reasonable and affordable. I would recommend bringing your friends and even family here.“

“Good food as Jersey Mike's always is. Cook couldn't care when he started our sandwich. I sat there watching him for 5 minutes talking to the other workers before he started our chicken Philly. Apparently our time is not valuable. I watched every Uber Eats or Door Dash come in and wait because they had not started the order. Did I mention, they were not very busy!!! It was kind of sad, the lack of caring for people's time. Again, the food was good, and they were very polite. But....“

“Great location. Seems like its being managed well. When my now wife worked at a different location, she'd always take off those god awful effing tree branches attached to the spinach leaves. So when I get them now, I tend to judge a bit more. I'm just spoiled is what I'm trying to say.. But yeah they need to do something about leaving the whole plant on the spinach leaf. Steams on jalapeños and banana peppers too. I understand it's how it's delivered, but you don't put out the tomatoes how they are delivered, right? You prep them. So just prep everything. Treat it like someone is paying you for it. Cuz they are. ? Okay I'm making this into a bigger deal than it needs to be. Because it's a universal subway issue, not just an issue with this location. So yeah over all, fun and kind staff, clean, and well managed.“

“I got a 17" pepperoni melt. It was so delicious. The wait wasn't bad. The food was hot and prepared as it should have been. No complaints from me or the other who ate the food. Great job people. Ill be back very soon. Thanks for the great service!!!“
