“Came in today at about 11:50am on a Friday…walked in and there was about 12 people ahead of me. They had 3 employees working. All 3 women behind the counter were pleasant and moving the line along as fast as one could expect with that many individual sandwiches being made to order. Being an adult and a rational and reasonable person, I expected to wait a bit before I would get served and get my food.All said and done, the sandwich was worth the expected wait. The service industry often has unrealistic expectations thrust upon it and the workers often get the brunt of it. Todays experience is why I will continue to frequent the DeForest Subway (can’t say the same about others necessarily)“

“Hands down, the best Jersey Mikes location I’ve been to. Staff is awesome! They always appear to be happy/positive. The manager of this location is doing a FANTASTIC job! She greets everyone with a smile and cheerful demeanor. Not to mention the sandwiches! Maybe it’s the positive experience they deliver each time we order, but I swear their subs taste better/cleaner than any other J-Mikes I’ve been to.

My co-worker and I have been ordering lunch from this location on a weekly basis for the last 6 months! He has been coming here for years now. He actually brought me here for my first sub from this place. I was going to the Washington Ave location - - only been back twice since; both were terrible experiences. Staff there is a joke/clearly do the bare minimum.“

“Great location. Seems like its being managed well. When my now wife worked at a different location, she'd always take off those god awful effing tree branches attached to the spinach leaves. So when I get them now, I tend to judge a bit more. I'm just spoiled is what I'm trying to say.. But yeah they need to do something about leaving the whole plant on the spinach leaf. Steams on jalapeños and banana peppers too. I understand it's how it's delivered, but you don't put out the tomatoes how they are delivered, right? You prep them. So just prep everything. Treat it like someone is paying you for it. Cuz they are. ? Okay I'm making this into a bigger deal than it needs to be. Because it's a universal subway issue, not just an issue with this location. So yeah over all, fun and kind staff, clean, and well managed.“

“They have made a number of changes at this location, all for the better. The personal are way more organized then under previous management. The orders are made correctly. It's nice to see action being taken, and the efforts haven't gone unnoticed. Changed my original 1 star to a 5 star. Well deserved.“

“Every time I come here they are very attentive and kind. Henry is the best always serving me with a smile and professionalism. Not to mention the food is off the chain. I only had an apetite for one taco in the morning today and I ended up ordering two more. Prices are reasonable and affordable. I would recommend bringing your friends and even family here.“

“Talk about an impressive sandwich(s)...this place takes you right to a deli buried in the CT to mid New Jersey seaboard or big city in between. They make their own perfect bread which is as good as any I've ever eaten, EVER. The cookies the meats, oh and the veggies are of superior quality even for being out of season. Fresh bright CLEAN surroundings very small cozy easy access to anything downtown. Walk, bike, some tight parking probably because of a brisk drive thru business. The owner is obviously a refugee from a big eastern city it's too uncanny. Surreal almost. The single BEST by far big or small sandwich shop I've been in since the last time I had a seriously great sandwich in NYC or even better North Jersey. Roast beef turkey chicken an impressive array of Italian themed temptations...the cookies they make onsite from scratch are to die for. Of note, the employees he has are a stellar lot too. They care about your experience and aren't afraid to show it. Solid SIX of five stars. If you don't go here you're missing out. It's worth any ride from Madison or the surrounding area 30-45 minutes out. My daughter was right. DAD you gotta try dis place here in town!! “I’ve been a regular customer at this subway for over 17 years. No matter how busy this shop is, the staff here make the highest quality sandwiches just the way you crave them every single time. To those who say the bread is dry, yes, Milio's has always made their bread that way, so it's nice and crust-y on the outside. That's why you get some mayo or guac or something to make the inside of the sandwich wet...“
