“This is truly a neighborhood diner that is a local favorite spot. We went on a Saturday mid-morning for brunch, and trust me . . . We were not alone. That joint was packed. We had about a 25 minute wait which was cool. Once we got seated, we were greeted by our waitress. The wait staff is not like an ordinary staff. They are a group of people that look like they just put on whatever is clean and come to work. You really don’t know who works there as the restaurant staff look like the average customer. . , it’s kinda weird, but it works. Our waitress was awesome!We had the Buffalo chicken BLT wrap with hand cut fries and creamy coleslaw and the spicy chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips w/salsa and sour cream. The food was soooo flavorful and seasoned to perfection.It’s a very busy dish place where everyone minds their own business. Loved it!!! I will be back. “Trippy to be in this building as my first apt at age 18 (1991) was around the corner & this was the functioning firehouse for MF.Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Atmosphere is nice but loud, sound definitely carries in this venue. Staff however is great, very attentive, kind & on their game. I would try this place again.Parking: Noon on a Friday and almost impossible to find near by parking. In the heart of downtown area and next to middle school so parking is truly at a premium.“

Fast service, friendly service, quick coffee and good. My first time I had an omelette - nothing wrong with it. The second time I had the Corned Beef with two eggs over easy - nothing wrong with it. And, a side of ham - moist and not dryed out. The wheat bread both times were good.A nice, small town diner that for me does it right.I will be back (at least) 1x per week.“
“My husband agrees that the duck fat burger is one of the best he’s ever had! I love the vegetarian fat noodles they’ve had on the menu during the winter season, seriously mouth watering.. but pretty spicy (the Thai chilis they put in there are no joke and last time I was crying at the table for a good 25mins because I accidentally ate one), I wish there was a warning about that. The cocktails are good, but not anything fabulous or fancy. We’ve been back once since our first time there a couple months ago!“
“First time trying this place it's a small dining area and parking can be a bit of an issue since they're in a gas station parking lot, that is rather small. The food was fabulous. I had the taco dinner which on Tuesday was $17 for three tacos, a side of beans and rice as well as a free drink. The tacos I had were two ground beef, and one shredded pork they were very tasty. Really loved the seasoning on the shredded pork. The beans with the, cheese on top were fabulous. Mexican rice was cooked just right would definitely go back. The server was very attentive. They were just a little stingy on the ice for the ice water I requested for some reason other than that everything else was fantastic.“

“This was a random Google find, and I'll definitely be back. The Chicken sandwich was delicious, the breading light and crispy (and completely attached!); one of the best I've had in a while. The breakfast Burrito was a good size, bigger than expected as it was about standard burrito size (you know how some places offer smaller breakfast sized burritos) The corndogs were pretty good, although they were about half the size the picture online made them appear. Fries did not disappoint and my son said his burger sliders were good. Overall it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Employees seemed in good spirits too.“

“My husband and I met up with a few friends here on a Saturday night and it was super busy! It took a little bit of waiting at the bar to get a table, but we did settle into a booth soon enough. Our waitress was super sweet and was clearly working very hard on this busy night, but took excellent care of us. I had a French Kiss followed by the House Daiquiri. The French Kiss was yummy, but a little strong on the hibiscus syrup in my opinion. The House Daiquiri was confusing - all the daiquiris I've ever had have been served neat in a coupe - my friend ordered a vodka gimlet which was served this way - but the daiquiri was on the rocks in a tall glass. It was very good nevertheless. My husband got an old fashioned, which he thoroughly enjoyed. They also have some bar food which we were excited to try. We ordered a basket of salted fries and risotto bites, but found out after that they were out of the risotto bites. The fries were really good: the outside was crispy and inside fluffy and not dense. It was also seasoned very well. I imagine the risotto bites were equally delicious, so we'll have to go back to try it! Our check did include the risotto bites, but our waitress was sweet and fixed it right away. Overall a good experience and would definitely come back!“

“My husband I have lived in the area for many years and finally decided to try the Friday fish fry at the hotel restaurant. What an incredible surprise! What were we missing all these years. The food was wonderful with generous portions. But more important, the service and atmosphere were outstanding. Karen and Lawrence were the only ones handling all the dinner guests but you would never know it by their fantastic smiles and attitude. We actually felt like we were at home. Karen and Lawrence made us feel like family and delivered outstanding service despite the amount of customers there were. In fact, many of them were also engaged like it was one big family. I could on and we look forward to our next visit.“
“I've lost count as to how many times I've visited Bar Louie. It's probably the number one happy hour spot for my friends and I. They have a large menu with lots of drink and food options. Although I've been coming for years, I've never written a review. I'm writing one now because I'm petitioning for them to never get rid of the new grilled cheese and subsequent chicken parmesan sandwiches. They are like siblings both made with a creamy spread, sliced cheese and a parmesan crust - both incredibly delicious and I will be absolutely devastated if you ever get rid of them. The flatbreads and garlic parmesan wings are a staple as well that I will definitely come back for but I will be dreaming about those sandwiches until I get to eat them again. So. Freaking. Good. And the new beach ball martini was fantastic, I want seven of them on vacation right now :)“
