“My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Comet Cafe. The service and food were both amazing. We were in Milwaukee for a few days and had gone multiple times. Tried multiple things on the menu and were never disappointed. Highly recommend coming here if you haven't already.“

“What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. “We had a fantastic meal & will definitely be back. We stopped in after a Bucks game just before the kitchen closed, they were very accommodating and helpful. The food was AMAZING, after just few bites of our meal our entire party (2 kids & 2 adults) was already trying to figure out when we could come back during our weekend trip. Our waiter, Michael was very friendly & attentive, highly recommend!“

I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

“Fun place! Always get treated good. Great food and great staff. Alfredo cooks some killer burgers, Bridgett, Josey, Eli are very hardworking and excellent at serving everyone. Bloody Mary is delicious as well.“

My favorite breakfast sandwich hack: order a side of butter grilled pillow toast minus jelly ($4) plus fresh avocado slices ($1.5); order side of Neuske’s smoked bacon ($3.5) plus a side egg perfectly cooked over easy ($2).
