“Our server Deon was great and every single thing we tried tasted sooooo good. We got a bunch of appetizers, a few different shakes and desserts and the wings, a burger and the pineapple Express burger with a chicken patty instead. This is a a place you could easily take non vegans and they would love it too. Highly suggest this place. Try everything you can!“

“Our first trip to Zarlettis downtown Milwaukee was very enjoyable. My husband and I celebrated our 38th anniversary here and were greeted with two glasses of complimentary champagne. Very nice touch. Our server was outstanding and made sure we were taken care of at all times. I chose the bolagnese with the housemade papparadelle pasta. So deliscious! Hubby had the short ribs over risotto and they were outstanding. We also shared a pancetta shrimp skewer, a pear gorgonzola salad and had the creamy chickpea soup. A very nice meal followed by a shared house made tiramisu. I would put this one in my top 5 list and I eat tiramisu every chance I get when available. We also were served bread with traditional olive oil, pepper and parmesan. Given it was a celebration we also enjoyed a nice bottle of pinot grigio and a barolo special red. The restaurant was cozy and perfect for our celebration. Thanks to all the staff for treating us so well. We would visit again for sure!“

“Overall experience was great. Started off with the fried calamari as an appetizer which was to die for and good portion. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted juicy and tender. We shared the asparagus and crab Mac and cheese for our sides. (Sides are portioned to be shareable). The sides were great as well. My only suggestion is providing clean plates for your sides since they are shareable. The steak comes on a plate covered in au jus which is delicious, but I didn't want to plate my mac n cheese on that plate and the bread plates were a little small. Not a big deal though! Service was great, ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“We were very impressed with our guide Keirsten.She was over the top with our SPICY group. Shakers accompanied our wounded leg toury so she could seek out ghosts with us. Sampling a few amazing menu items and cocktails prior to walk about. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“Went back here again because it is the best custard I have ever tasted. And it has been that way for the last 50 years that I can remember. It still is a little pricey, but it is worth it. Parking lot is still a mess. Every time I go there are some close calls with cars and people walking around.“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

“Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“

“We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile.
