“This is one of my FAVORITE places in the Madison area; HANDS DOWN!! 🙌🏻 The best thing about this place is the people. 💯 The vibe you’ll find is one of humility, salt of the earth, kindness, inclusiveness, all are welcomed, loved, and accepted here type of place. I liken it to that bar, Cheers, where everybody knows your name… 😆❤️‍🩹🥹 Now, who wouldn’t want to hang at a place like that? 🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍 But, wait! “We met friends who were from out of town for lunch at Buck & Honey's on Sunday. They had never been there, so with my wife and me having been there before and very much impressed, we suggested it. What an incredible atmosphere, superb food quality and service that is so rare these days. We sure had a very memorable time and dining experience and will be coming back again very soon. Our guests could not stop raving about this place also. A shot out to our waitress Aliyah for such an outstanding job taking care of us. You sure are excellent at what you do and we thank you sincerely!“

“Great authentic Mexican food. I had the steak fajitas burrito. It was delicious and huge. I also had a couple margaritas and they were excellent. We had a family of four, all adult meals, and some margaritas and price was better than expected for the size and quality of the meals and drinks.“

It's become a go to return spot over the years, wether I go for a nice dinner with my partner, or getting "fancy" pizza and drinks with friends, this is the place to go.“

“It’s hard to make food a sexual experience but the Spicy Shrimp Po’ Boy f***** my face. Fuckin’ F**** a lot of places tone spice down for ‘general pop’ but this place gives it to you raw. If it says spicy it’s spicy but it also delivers a balance of flavor with heat. It was an explosion of awesome in my mouth. So, if you are looking to eat some delicious food while in Madison and need a foodgasm, visit Stadium Take Out you will have your mind blown.“

“Waiting for a show at majestic and the manager greeted us and said wed get fast service to be in line for doors and he wasn’t kidding! Service was quick, staff was friendly and the food was amazing, I got 2 tacos and they were genuinely delicious! We were in and out within 30 minutes! Highly recommend“

“The best sandwiches I’ve found in madison. Chill atmosphere, incredible food. Probably the best meatball sub I’ve ever had. All I wanted today was a sandwich and couldn’t have prepared for the absolute beauty that was placed in front of me, quite quickly I might add. Check this place out or you’re absolutely missing out!“

“I have been here multiple times, and every visit is nothing short from amazing! Wait staff are always unbelievably friendly and attentive, the food is always made fresh to order and comes out looking beautiful every time. There isn’t a single item on the menu that I haven’t liked. Prices are more than fair, and competitive with most State St restaurant prices. The owner is very sweet and is always happy to see you! Every time I’ve come alone she makes sure I have a stuffed furry friend to keep me company.

If you’re ever in the downtown area, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch, dinner, or a snack, and have it accompanied by a beautiful cocktail!

“One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“

“I went here with a few of my friends and had a BLAST. The ambience was just amazing. There was very nice, dim and colorful lighting. Lots of board games were available as well as a free snack table full of tasty looking treats. My friends I had played an overwhelming amount of rounds of Sequence while we sipped on our very unique and I am not quite sure how else to put it other than 'exotic' drinks. I was experiencing flavors I have never had before and loved every moment of it. I highly recommend letting the bartenders just do their thing for you!“

“Chocolate Shoppe catered our wedding dessert and they were completely perfect! They bring a truck with about ten flavors including 1-2 DF flavors, and scoop into dishes or cones. The guests loved it on a hot, summer day, and it felt a lot more memorable than cake. They were super easy to work with in booking the event and the employee who worked our event was so kind. It was a huge hit and the ice cream was, of course, delicious! We would definitely book them again for a large event and would recommend them to friends.“

“The best bagel shop in town!! They have such delightful and affordable bagels with all kinds of fillings. My husband and I love their Lox and their breakfast sandwiches - egg, cheese and honey glazed ham. 😋 we come here every other weekend. It’s always packed with lots of people but they move pretty quick. I also simply love their EGG BAGELS and chocolate chip bagels!!!“

“This place is a gem of a restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks are all 10/10. One of the only places in Madison I have seen tofu skins so that alone got me in the door. A lot of the small plates are vegetarian/vegan. Everything we have tried in our two visits there has been excellent - potstickers, green beans, tofu skins, scallion pancakes. They have specials that also sound great. Service on a busy night is a little slow, as can be expected. Would recommend a reservation as they are not a huge place and fill up quickly. Highly recommend having a meal here!“

“I had my bridal shower at Drumlin Ridge and it was the perfect experience! The team was extremely prompt with replies and went over and beyond to help make it a great day, they even helped us put together a custom wine pairing for the event as our theme was “the perfect pair”. We had 25 guests which was a perfect fit for the room, but there was space for overflow. I really appreciated that there wasn’t a room rental and they were flexible with carrying in food, keeping it affordable for a shower! We had it on a Saturday at noon for about 2 hours with 1 hour of set up. Gorgeous venue and tasty wine as well!“

“Love the charming European Grand Cafe vibes. An abundance of outdoor seating is available. Our server was very attentive and had great recommendations for drinks and food. One of the smoothest bloodys I have had. Food was absolutely delicious! What a great spot for brunch and enjoying a view of Madison.“

“We came for lunch, as I was looking for a good ribeye. Immediately felt at ease upon entering. Even though it appeared pretty busy, we were sat right away. We needed time to peruse the menu, and our server Jordan never made us feel rushed. He brought us water, and gave us some time. We had the spinach dip, bone in ribeye, and ahi tuna steak. It was obvious that the dip was freshly made, and my rare ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. The housemade chive butter was also excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the music stylings were en pointe for my taste. This is the kind of establishment I love to support.“

“They have very good food but the staff makes peanuts and is hungry for tips. I usually try to tip 20-25%. However one time when I got the bill it was way more than I had expected and I didn't have the funds to leave a tip. I felt really bad. To top it off I was told if I couldn’t tip better. don't come back. I instead of 2 drinks costing $13.00.(like the other businesses on the block)The bill was $21. I would have been leaving at least $5, but now I couldn’t. I feel the staff is a bunch of snooty college students, living off their rich parents dime.“

“I got a 12 oz half caff hot mocha with oat milk and toasted marshmallow with a chocolate croissant at ~2p on a Wednesday. I didn’t have to wait long at all, there was not an overwhelming amount of people, and the barista was very sweet. The pastries seemed to be either prepackaged or at least not made in house. I wanted a sweet treat, and that’s what I got!“

“I've been a long time customer here (15+ years). Besides the beauty of mixing Gelato with espresso (order the Javalatto people), my favorite thing is the environment. I love seeing the long term staff, and the owner, who I've seen throughout my time as a customer. Most of all, I love that they ALWAYS make me happier, especially on days I'm having those rough mornings. I really try to go in on those days I know are gonna be long. Between my delicious caffeine boost, and their warm welcomes, they always start my morning off better. Thank-you to Renee and all of the Java Cat staff for the morning pick me ups.“

“My first time here, I thought to myself, “Wow, this is the best mocha I’ve ever had” - and then I had to laugh at myself because the place is quite literally called MOKA. Its pricing is comparable to Starbucks and is a fun place to stop when I’m in the mood for a treat. Also love that they have Madison Sourdough goodies available! The only downside is there isn’t a ton of room for parking, especially when the drive thru is busy.“
