“We met friends who were from out of town for lunch at Buck & Honey's on Sunday. They had never been there, so with my wife and me having been there before and very much impressed, we suggested it. What an incredible atmosphere, superb food quality and service that is so rare these days. We sure had a very memorable time and dining experience and will be coming back again very soon. Our guests could not stop raving about this place also. A shot out to our waitress Aliyah for such an outstanding job taking care of us. You sure are excellent at what you do and we thank you sincerely!“

“I googled places to eat around DeForest and this place had great reviews. We arrived at 530, they said it would take 20-30 minutes to seat. We were seated within probably 10 minutes. The food portions are insane and so good. Very good flavor and a lot of food for what you pay. Definitely would recommend and eat there again! Pictures in the comments!“

“You can choose the unlimited refill option or order individually. If you choose unlimited refills, you can order sushi, sashimi, rolls, etc. until you are full. The sushi and sashimi aren't very large, but the taste is good. Recommended for anyone who can eat a lot. The service was also friendly.
I ordered hibachi and ramen separately for lunch and it was great value for money. Contrary to my concerns, Hibachi was able to eat a generous amount of fairly tender beef. The ramen was a little different from what I expected, with a spicy Nagasaki Jjamppong-like taste, but I enjoyed it in its own way. Considering the price, I think this is pretty great.“

“This is one of my FAVORITE places in the Madison area; HANDS DOWN!! 🙌🏻 The best thing about this place is the people. 💯 The vibe you’ll find is one of humility, salt of the earth, kindness, inclusiveness, all are welcomed, loved, and accepted here type of place. I liken it to that bar, Cheers, where everybody knows your name… 😆❤️🩹🥹 Now, who wouldn’t want to hang at a place like that? 🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍 But, wait! “A fantastic venue for LIVE MUSIC in a scenic spot! Plenty of space to enjoy a delicious drink and bite to eat with a friendly atmosphere. Chairs, picnic tables, permanent campsites for rent… all along the shady trees of the Sugar River. The staff is top notch and worth celebrating!“

“Love the rustic indrustrialized interior. The outdoor beer garden is absolutely charming with grape vines and lights. Staff are all very friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the Strawberry Fields cocktail and the freshly made Ellsworth cheese curds. Can't wait to go back and try more!“
