“We were looking for a good Friday fish fry in the Oshkosh area and Wendt's did not disappoint! No wonder the wait was about an hour: this was one of the best fish fries we have had. Lightly battered cod pieces were perfectly fried. Waffle fries and sweet potato fries were great, and you can't beat pint-glass old fashioneds for only six bucks! Definitely worth the visit even if you need to go out of your way to get there!“

“Omg this place was sooooo good! The atmosphere, the experience, and the food was outstanding. We had some of the best best brunch we've ever tasted. My bestie and her daughter and my daughter had a girls day, and decided to go get a bite to eat and we have never been so full and satisfied from a brunch. The wait was a little bit which with 2- 8 -year-olds could be challenging however the service was able to pick the pace up and bring us the food right on time. We had an outstanding brunch. “Always a busy place. The reason why is the service and the food is amazing. I was sitting at the end of the bar where all the take out orders were going out and was blow away. I was in no hurry and watching all the orders come out, I thought it may be awhile for food. I was wrong. Normal wait and my multiple bartenders were there taking care of me and make sure I had everything I wanted. If you hate crowds get the carry out! If you don’t mind take the time to slow down and just enjoy the music and the great service! I will be back! The Bluegill was great!“

“Typical taproom with plenty of Wisconsin beers to choose from. There were plenty on tap which meant something for everyone to choose from. However, the food selections were great. Our table order appetizers of beef tenderloin slices on crostini and cheese curds too. The cheese curds were great and not greasy and the beef was over the top tasty. Our order was taken by the manager who was super friendly which is always a bonus.“

“My wife had been talking about this place when she previously visited so I had to make sure we stopped to check it out. She was not wrong. I had a Gillie dog and the Badger Sundae. Both we're great. “I went through the drive thru Sunday with my husband, youngest and grand pup. My daughters name is Ella. The lady working the windows name was Bella. She was so nice and my daughter can't stop talking about how she has the same name as her friend and her name is almost just like hers. The other people were so nice as well. “Always good food...Parking: The Culvers we go to can be hard to park at... There is enough parking but when you try to leave there is usually the drive thru line blocking your way... and sometimes the drive thru lane is so long you have to wait to even pull into the parking lot...“

I ordered a chicken quesadilla for my meal and had mushrooms added.....so good and I took over half home. My son has a BBQ Mac and cheese. Huge portion. Even my teenage boy took half home. He did need to add more BBQ sauce...but I am sure others would have liked the amount that was in there. My husband had a burger and said it was good. I would definitely go back.“

Risotto and halibut were amazing. BRaised beef ravioli very rich but very good. Bruschetta is not great and doesn't fit with how wonderful everything else was. “We came in for some drinks and probably eat after College Softball at the Rec Plex dome. Place was packed. Lots of Youth hockey families. Very loud. Very crowded. Sat at the bar. Staff was attentive. Very well staffed. Not sure if the same person served me more than one beer.The Sand Volleyball courts looked like fun. Looked like a rough time for them but handled it well.
