“We had heard good things about Lallande and we were not disappointed. We ate at the bar which I would highly recommend. Our server was Nina and she made the evening fun. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chops. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. We also had the chicken pate which was so good. But the highlight for us was the carrot tarte. A must have, if you go.The owner Ann Marie was working in the kitchen keeping all the balls in the air, but she took time to visit with us and made us feel extra welcome. Do yourself a favor and dine at Lallande on Monroe St. Perhaps we'll see you there because we'll be back! Five stars.“

“JustVeggiez 100% Vegan is just plain one of the best restaurants in Madison. Burgers, pizza, wraps, lasagna, big salads, teriyaki, burritos and tacos, GF options...the menu is large and so varied. Plus they have acai bowls, desserts, milkshakes, ice cream and cookies! There's a gorgeous big counter complete with video screens, or table seating where you can people watch on State Street, and the orange and green walls and artwork give a fun vibe. You can even order weekly meal plans for home delivery, and they do catering, too. Alcohol license is in the works, for those interested in that, and they will have outdoor seating starting in the spring. I personally love the Strawberry Walnut Salad, the Lo Mein, the Reuben sandwich, and the BBQ Tofu Wrap, not to mention the vegan cheese curds and the roasted potatoes side dish.“

“This cafe has many delicious options for food. It however does not have celiac safe options. The cross contamination is too high. They do note this if you call them by stating that they can't guarantee there isn't. But I would not eat here if you have celiacs because I did twice and it made me incredibly sick. Again the food in my opinion is delicious, it just isn't celiacs safe.“

Everything was delicious- mocktail, bruschetta, both pasta dishes (mushroom truffle & sausage rigatoni), as well as the light, fluffy desserts (butterscotch pudding & cheesecake with rhubarb/strawberry compote). “This place was really good. Several more options that just a falafel pita or falafel plate. The menu was very clearly labeled as well. I got the Falafel Bowl and my wife got the Vegetarian Combo. They even let her swap out the Baba Ghanoush for extra Falafel since it wasn't vegan. We also got the Hummus/Pita app. The food was really good, with good portion sizes. We were stuffed when we left. We had the most amazing dinner, oysters on the half shell and wrapped it up with an unbelievably good coffee and date ice cream 😋 Our experience was so good we decided to go back a second night! “did not have a good experience today at la michoacana. when ordering my papas preparadas I told the lady i wanted the cueritos on the side. when the bag was given to me i noticed she had put them in. I told her and she said that she had forgot and did say sorry but what made me very upset was that she said that they were very busy and she couldn't make them again . I'm sorry but the way she did things was wrong and it's not my fault that she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. Please pay more attention to who your serving and not how many people are in line. I love going to this place but the way things were handled was not ok.“

“Very good burgers, fries and shakes also very good. Only complaint is cost like everything these days. About $20 a person for a specialty burger, fries,and a shake. They do have a $10 special going right now but it was a small 🍔 burger,small fries,and a small soda. Not bad if you are good with a smaller portion. I would definitely go again however this would be a once or twice a year place for me. Enjoy!!“
