“Our second day focused on history and craft beer. Once again, we had personal, curated experiences, but the highlight was Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery. If you love craft beer, this place is truly unique. They produce estate beers — meaning 100% of the ingredients are grown on the farm, including yeast collected from their fields. The beers were outstanding and unlike anything we’ve had before. Carlos arranged a private tasting in their loft above the brewing barn. Their barrel‑aged stout was the best I’ve ever had”.

This past weekend our love for Big Cork grew immensely as we hosted our baby shower here and had the best time. Our guests raved about the wine and the entire place. My favorite part was our event coordinator, Tracy. She was absolutely amazing! She checked in often to make sure I was good (at 32 weeks pregnant, this meant the world), that our guests were good, and that the event was running just as we had imagined. I can’t thank her enough for all of her help and how sweet and accommodating she was to us and our guests. “Visited this winery with some friends the other week. Wine flightes were pre selected but you can still get a taste of any wine and beer!

Our bartender Arman was very friendly and helped guide us on the best wines to pair with our food. He also gave us a great breakdown on all the beers on draught and gave us amazing food recs (get the carpenters flatbread)!

“Hands down, King's has the BEST Sicilian pizza in Frederick County, and even Washington County. We lived in Brunswick for only a few years and still drive back simply to get a Sicilian. It is absolutely worth a drive.

A Saturday, spring day, i would only have imagined that the cupcake should be, The freshest. And i'm sorry to say they're just not. I only tell you this so that maybe you can make the changes you need to make necessary. I just love this quaint area of shepherdstown, but I leave this post in hoping that something can change, that when I come out to your place in hopes to buy something sweet. “The cheesesteak I had was good. Tasted like it had quality ingredients, was well put together, flavorful. The pizza was alright if I had a complaint it was a bit more floppy, less crisp than I'd prefer but that's subjective and preference based, flavor wise I thought it was fine.
