“Once is a fluke, but four times is consistent. A week ago, my wife and I ordered Norwegian Salmon. It was the first time ever I was able to enjoy and eat the tasty, savory crust. The chef told us that he heats the salmon on high for 20 minutes to make the crust so memorably delicious. Last night we returned to Taylor, the amazing server, and ordered the exact same dishes. They were exactly as superb as the previous week. So we topped it off with the absolute best Chocolate mousse either one of us ever had. The multiple textures and ingredients made it memorable, and worthy enough of this super 5 star review. We will back to repeat this experience with Taylor, Bistro 112 and their amazing chef. Meeting owners Jae and Lars at the end was an added treat for us. Smiling, Dr. Harvey Levy and Lena Rotenberg“

“We were here for a getaway, and we are so glad our innkeepers recommended The Press Room. Very pleasant dining room, great service, excellent menu options, and we particularly liked the special items. Our waitress, Angie, was terrific in every way! She loves her job, and it’s obvious!“

“Ashamedly I was biased about what the quality of Mexican or Tex-Mex food would be in West Virginia…..boy was I proven wrong. This place was incredible! Everything was delicious! Everything came out warm/hot with obviously fresh tasting ingredients that were well prepared! Even simple things like the refried beans or chips and salsa were very tasty! The frozen margarita was also delicious! 10/10 would recommend this place! Staff were also very friendly and professionally attentive and attired!“

“We visited a few local restaurants during a visit to the area, and this was one of our favorites! The outdoor garden seating is lovely! The stream is a little loud, but, personally, I liked hearing the sound of nature while enjoying my meal. The overall vibe of the restaurant is very casual. A great place to enjoy a burger or wrap - which is what my husband and I both got. We also got the hummus appetizer, which had delicious warm pita bread with it! The hummus was a little saltier than my preference, but overall good! Similarly, the turkey wrap that I got was a little on the salty side, but still yummy. It had lots of fresh veggies in it, which was delicious. We had our 11 month old with us. They had a high chair for her, but it was a little tricky to use in the outdoor seating. The brick floor by our table was a little uneven, making the chair rock a bit when she moved (which our little one thought was fun, but Mama was a little nervous ?). Staff were kind and friendly to all of us. The individual any gender bathrooms were cute and well maintained. There was a diaper changing station in the larger bathroom. The one bathroom did have a messy toilet seat (the rest of the room was clean), but I told a staff member about it and they promptly took care of it. Overall, this is a great casual and relaxing lunch spot.Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs. The outdoor seating has brick ground that is slightly uneven in spots, so some tables are not the best for high chairs, but it worked for us. There is a diaper changing station in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly to our baby. Food was a little on the salty side, if you're watching that for little ones, but overall, there were some appropriate baby led weaning options, including the hummus appetizer, if that's what you're looking for.“

I didn't want to cook tonight but dealing with 9month pregnancy cravings and i called kinda late... she took my order even though she had closed up the kitchen and turned the kitchen back on to ensure i got my food! We hadn't been there in a while and she remembered me! So sweet and wonderful! Highly recommend!!“

“Awesome view, great selection of IPAs and fresh and great food. In love with this place. We rode there on a bike on our way to Harper's Ferry, but thinking about going there again in the car next time. They also had live music. They had everything for a perfect outing.“

“Dear Market Table Bistro: you are a gem in the DMV. You are all Michelin ? to us. Every time we dine with you, we leave with bellies & hearts full. This time was no exception. Thank you for all the effort you put into procuring locally sourced options & serving them up in the most delightful & delicious way. (I just finished the to go side of beans/root vegetables on toast & said an out loud & potentially annoying YUM with every bite. SO GOOD.) Thank you for all you do.“

“Big Cork is a colossal space, with a white-dominant, modern interior and views of the countryside that are bucolic and relaxing. It's an example of minimalist design done well. The first time that I walked in, I was taken aback -- it's a sensory experience to a certain extent. The wine-tasting area and restaurant are all rolled into one. A long bar in the middle of things is snowy white and seems to stretch out endlessly. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about wine and Big Cork's viticulture -- a plus. Big Cork grows Petite Verdot, a red grape used in classic Bordeaux blends and one that I'm crazy about. Am happy to now have a source so close. I'm told their Petite Verdot has won a fair number of awards. Another one of their wines that's light and bright is Russian Kiss. This white wine brims with pear and citrus high notes, complementary earthy undertones and crisp finish. Rohrersville is a bit of a drive for me, living in DC. But one that I will gladly make.“

“Yesterday was my first time at this brewery and I must say the vibes were on point. Most breweries I don’t feel welcome but old 690 staff and customers were very welcoming. I enjoy meeting with the customers and their families. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. They great live music, the beers are top notch. Their merch is fire and a must buy….. period!!!! They also have an open field and play area for the kids to play and run around. You will NOT be disappointed coming to this brewery. My bartender had nothing but good vibes, just down to earth. He has a special place in my heart.# secret society“

“A nice locally owned, quiet winery with super nice people. They had Easter eggs filled and hidden for the kids, games and picnics out in the sun. Their white wine flight was very good (Voigier, Piebald and steel barrel Chardonnay were the best). One of the owner/operators gave me a glass on the house because they just had some left over, which is always a plus! Would definitely return.“

“We had the best meal ever! My husband and I shared a meal of Tom Kha soup, house salad with ginger dressing, Nua Nam Tok rolls, drunken noodles, and mango sticky rice for dessert. (Everything was gluten free that we ordered!❤️) Let me say that it was all delicious! Great quality food, wonderful service, and a quaint ambiance were a win win for us! Our server, Mindy, was a delight. All of her suggestions were on point!“
“We had a one night stay in Columbus and decided to have some fun at Hollywood Casino. We’ve always had good luck at casino steakhouses and The Final Cut did not disappoint. The menu and wine selection were very broad and full of great choices. We split a filet along with numerous appetizers and sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and everything tasted delicious. The ambience was amazing and so was the service. Would highly recommend.“

“We wanted a steak dinner before attending a concert and were told they had a Great Steak. They wouldn't let us have Steak until after 5, so I had Kabobs that was tough and chewy. My date didn't have enough dressing for her salad and we had to track down a busboy to bring her more. (Our waitress was a little busy being "flashy" instead of taking care of customers. My date ran out of lemonade long before her dinner was complete and couldn't get a refill because waitress was M.I.A. I even had to track her down so we could get our bill before we left.“

“This 24-hour diner attached to the Travelodge in Brunswick,Maryland is a throwback to the diners of the 1950s. We were looking for a decent meal after being on the road all day, and came upon this diner. The two women, Olivia and Kara who were working there could not have made the experience better. They were friendly, accommodated a special request for my husband, who was in the mood for an open-faced, hot turkey sandwich with gravy. They made the gravy as a special accommodation. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and the food was delicious. I would not hesitate to grab a meal there if you’re in the area.“

“We visited on Thurday 4 April 2024. Being a weekday with less than favorable weather there were not a lot of patrons on hand. It looks as if this place could accomodate 100-200 patrons on a day when outdoor seating was available. We started off with the Reserve Chardonnay (oaked) and the estate Chardonnay (un-oaked) These were both enjoyable although we each had our own preference.Moving on, we tierd the Breauxmance or blush sparling wine and the 2019 Meritage, a 2024 VA Governor's Cup Gold winner. It was definitely the highlight of the visit and we brought one home to enjoy later.BTW - the image on one side of the glassware that looks like a prown is supposed to be a crawfish. Apparently the family that owns the vineyard came from Louisiana and the crawfish reminds them of their roots.“

“Very convenient to the trail at Harper's ferry. Good view! They don't have a lot of vegan options but I had the hummus and impossible burger and both were amazing so no complaints here! The fries were delicious (I subbed out for th3 chips) Boozy teas are also delicious. I come here with my dog and no one has ever complained or said anything so yay!My only issue is the bathroom situation, they seem to only have 1 stall for the whole restaurant? Maybe there are others but only saw the one.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger, Philly style ( no cheese) was very good.“

“A Chinese Food Bistro! The food tasted fresh and delicious. The crab Rangoon was superb, light, and flakey, with a perfect filling. The fried rice was fluffy and not covered in oils and soy sauce. Though flavor wasn't strong on our main dishes, it was much better than our local Chinese food restaurants. They were very busy this Friday night, our waitress took great care of us, and our food came reasonably fast. Beautiful atmosphere, great service, prices not bad for the huge portions. Some vegan options are available. It's worth a try!“
“The thing with the Bavarian Inn (BI) is that they thought they were something they were not. The rooms--especially the Potomac view ones, are remarkable, though a bit aged. The infinity pool is remarkable. BUT, they modernized the main house in a slick way that compromises the arhetiicural ethos of the place. And, they added a brewpub. God am I tired of brewpubs. Just give me a Budweiser. Keep your coffee stout for some yuppie want-to-be who pontificates about beer like he's a seasoned sommelier. The real food gem is the Rathskeller, down the stairs and with no sign. It's filled every night, with a throw-back piano player crooning Billy Joel and Frank Sinatra and such. It is dark and calm. The food is terrific. I'm a wiernerschnitzle man with plenty of anchovies and brown gravy, accompanied by soft red cabbage and spaetzle. It's a huge plate of food, as are all the German dishes. (They have a contemporary section of the menu but it's food I could get any where). Go German. It's always busy but the young waiters and staff move at just the right pace. If you like beer, go here. Twenty ounce Spaten lagers and all the classics. Why the Rathskeller is only open Friday and Saturday nights is a mystery to me. It's one of the main reasons people come here. The BI is worth every penny but do the weekends to you can enjoy the charms of the Rathskeller.“

“My family recently had a wonderful visit to Terra Nebulo. The tasting room is beautiful and very cozy. We were lucky enough to arrive just before sunset and the sun setting over the adjacent hills was beautiful. The wine was very good and fairly priced. I highly recommend visiting. “The food was good. I had the wienerschnitzel with spaetzle. Be warned, there was something on the lemon that turns out to be an anchovy. Thank God i didn't eat that. Pricewise, it is on the highside at $32 for a pork wienerschnitzel. The rahmsauce that came with the schnitzel was too thin to be called a cream sauce. It tasted fine but was more like broth than cream sauce.“

“I’ve been vegan 7 years and after trying this once, it’s now in the top 3 of vegan restaurants I’ve tried worldwide. The food was fresh, came out quick and tasted incredible. Staff was also super friendly and helpful in picking out options. The nachos could easily feed four people so it went a long way for just my boyfriend and I. He’s not vegan but absolutely loved it. We got the buffalo burger and dark horse burger. So sooooo good. Topped it off with oat milk ice cream soft serve. Was exactly what we needed after walking over 5 miles in Harpers Ferry. What an amazing gem - cannot wait to go back!!!“
