Feels like we’ve known her forever. The food was SO delicious, the prices are incredibly reasonable, the ambiance made us “old gals” feel like we were back in college. “We live a few miles away and we've enjoyed several French restaurants in this building for almost two decades. The current owners have truly outdone all the prior owners. This is not the first time we've been here under current management, but last night was the best experience ever!My husband and I enjoyed (a split portion of) the soup of the day, chicken soup with lots of vegetables, followed by the Norwegian salmon. Every component was beautifully cooked - my husband's medium and my medium-rare were perfect with skin so crunchy my husband didn't even remove it; the asparagus was cooked al dente as it should be, the mashed potatoes were tasty, and the ravigote sauce provided the perfect acidic counterpoint. Last but not least, our espresso martinis were great - perfect choice of cinnamon variety and amount.Our server, Taylor, was personable and professional, and made sure that food and drinks were served promptly and as ordered.As someone with a gluten intolerance, I was grateful that Taylor gave me choices and placed the GF bread order early enough that it arrived together with the regular bread. For the first time ever in this restaurant, my husband and I were able to share the three different kinds of butters without my having to beg him to save some for me! (Note: he rarely eats butter.) “Man, if y’all haven’t been here yet you’re missing out! The Goonie burger from High Thai'd food truck was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The beers and craft cocktails we had from Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewery were on point as well. The place was super cool, the staff was beyond friendly and even treated Doc man so nicely! “Visited for the first time and the place was packed. Literally no empty chairs. The timing of the service was a little off due to how busy they were but the waiter did his best to make up for it. It was also a little loud with that many people in a relatively small bar style area. Food was exceptional. Some of the best seafood I have had in the area. Their crab soup was amazing. If I had to offer any criticism of the food, my fish on the broiled seafood platter was SLIGHTLY and I emphasize SLIGHTLY over cooked. We will definitely be going back but will make a reservation in advance next time.“

“I was working in the area and googled “Best Crabcakes” in Martinsburg. Kitzies was tops. So I went, let me tell you OMG the very best! However everything on the menu looked good and prices very reasonable so I ordered a Crabcake sandwich TO GO and had the Fish n Chips there. Sooo delicious, beer battered to perfection, sweet Cole slaw and the fries were crispy and hot.Jade was the server and very polite and helpful.When I’m in Martinsburg I will be coming here!BTW, the table next to me ordered burgers and fish tacos and Wow it looked amazing.“

“Sycamore has brought stonebridge back from the dead and gave the biggest chefs kiss. Lunch food yesterday was incredible. Best hush puppies ive ever indulged, burger medium cooked to perfection upon request. Using what they could from the orginial Stonebridge and adding their touch has made this place immaculate. Great atmosphere, cant wait til it warms up a bit to dine outside. Also offering 10 slot machines, the driving range is open again and soon 9 holes to be opened as well! While the show/substance itself wasn't actually all that great (2 out of 5 comedians made me laugh), the food at the bar and grille was Fantastic! “This was a nice visit. Overall the restaurant is neat, clean, and well-maintained. The service was pretty good but the food piled up as the timing of the meal was off. Long before we finished our salad or soup, the main course arrived at our table. Also, I was never offered a drink refill. Also, cleaning supplies are left in customers' view, which is a no-no.My salad was delicious and fresh. The main course was also extremely good and tasty with large portion sizes. “As a housing case manager at Telamon, it is part of my my job to secure meals for all of my clients for the holidays. I decided to reach out to the manager, Dan, this time prior to Easter and am so gladI did. Dan was wonderful and worked with me to explain what they could do and everything that was included, he provided a discount on each meal for our clients, and was very helpful and nice. When my co-workers and I picked up the meals we were greatly impressed with everything. The meals were all rwady and bagged up, the mac and cheese was in seperate containers, and each roll was individually wrapped, plus they provided plenty of utensils and butter. The manager and another employee also helped us carry everything out and put it in the vehicle for us. Not only was everyone friendly and professional, the restraunt was clean and looked great, and the food smelled and looked great. After we delivered the meals, I recieved calls/texts from several of the clients saying that the food tasted great as well. I highly recommend Martinsburg Family diner because their food is great, the service is wonderful, and they truly care about the community. Thank you all so much for your help.
