“The cheesesteak I had was good. Tasted like it had quality ingredients, was well put together, flavorful. The pizza was alright if I had a complaint it was a bit more floppy, less crisp than I'd prefer but that's subjective and preference based, flavor wise I thought it was fine.

“We recently tried Angelo's Brick Oven Pizza for the first time since it's been in the mall. In our opinion, it's hands down the best pizza in the area!! We have stopped in every Friday since for Pizza night! I love that they have curbside because I typically pick up with my toddler and do not have to get her out of the car to pick it up. What an unexpected gem to discover in the middle of West Virginia! The restaurant is run by a former Marine, and we were personally greeted by the owner, who prepared a fresh pizza right in front of us, complete with a delicious assortment of toppings.

Oh my, was it good! So good, in fact, that we ended up ordering two more pies to take home!

Everything about this pizza reminded me of what I loved about New York pizza. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside while remaining soft and airy on the inside, with a wonderful hint of olive oil. The tomato sauce was rich, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor, complemented by delicious mozzarella melted to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of how good a properly made New York pizza can be.

And here’s what impressed me even more. When we got home, we reheated the extra pizzas slowly in the oven, taking our time to bring them back to temperature. They hadn’t lost a thing! The crust was still wonderful, the flavors just as vibrant, and the cheese just as delicious. They tasted almost every bit as good as they had fresh out of Giovanni’s oven. Now that’s the sign of a pizza made right!

And the value? Almost unbelievable! Less than ten dollars for two generously sized slices, made fresh to order, and a drink. These days, finding that combination of quality, authenticity, and affordability is a rarity.

Giovanni’s is proof that you don’t have to be in New York to enjoy a fantastic New York-style pizza. Great food, genuine hospitality, and exceptional value. We came in expecting a quick bite and left with two extra pizzas and a new favorite spot.

The pizza was fine but there was no sauce on it which I was most looking forward to. I did not order a white pizza, just regular build your own unless I missed the sauce option. The pepperoni side was unbelievably salty and oily. Excessively so. I’ve picked up from this location before and all was fine. The staff person was very very pleasant. This may have been a fluke. Mercato is hands-down our favorite pizza spot. We happily drive an hour and 15 minutes all the way from Maryland just to get our pies here, and my family absolutely loves them. The food is always a massive hit, but the real star of the show is Debbie Spade.
Debbie is absolutely awesome. Her personality is so warm and welcoming, and it is completely obvious that she loves what she does. Every single time I visit, I secretly hope she is working and quietly request for her to make our pizzas. Her work is immaculate. On our recent visit, she beautifully crafted a Veggie Lovers and a Meat Lovers pizza for us to take on our long drive back home. They were absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Huge shout-out to Debbie for her exceptional service, her talent, and for always making our drive completely worth it!“

“Amazing bar down to earth. The bar staff are very personal and attentive never letting your glass go empty and DEFINITELY best prices for drinks in town!

They also have pool tables and a patio to go outside and drink. Being a foodie person, their food is amazing with appetizers and entrees. Ps tacos are amazing.

We only live 5 miles from you and when we got home my husband realized he didn't have his wallet.We drove back out to Little Caesars to see if someone had found it and turned it in. “Robin Robinson (sorry if I misspelt your name) gave amazing service! After a 12-hour drive, I ordered Domino’s and got the cinnamon bread bites. She first came up apologizing about forgetting an icing, and even though I told her not to worry, she went out of her way to come back the icing cups! She didn’t have to, but she did—and it really made my night!!

Meanwhile, I’ve had the opposite experience with Papa John’s in the area, where I had the wrong pizza delivered and raw dough and wasn’t resolved nearly as well. The difference in customer service really stands out. Thank you again, Robin!“

“The food always comes out great at this location. Even though they were completely swamped with customers and their AC unit was down everyone was putting their all in to get the orders out the door. All the employees were very helpful and nice with great work ethic despite the heat. I would give ten stars for just the employees alone but the tasty pizza is a bonus.
