“Today I ordered a dozen donuts and the chicken burger w/ fries. I actually cried when I took the first bite of my chicken burger. It’s the yummiest thing I have eaten in 5 years…maybe ever. Then tonight, I had a cruller for dessert and stopped in my tracks. You guys, this place is worth the drive from wherever you are. From customer service to the post-meal contemplation, worth every calorie…1000% top shelf!!!!“

“The food was very good and the Servers were very attentive however the ambience was lacking . The Restaurant was somewhat crowded. The ambience was not up to the quality of the food and service. The ambience was lacking a French flavour and the music was poor - it seemed loud and the speakers were distorted and distracting. Though the Food was very good, it was too sophisticated for the ambience and expensive for the atmosphere.“

“Ever since Raj Palace has been managed by Man Singh, we have had numerous lunches and dinners, with friends and family. No matter what constructive feedback we have given, the Manager has always been open to listening and has implemented changes over time. Thank you. Wait times can be longer depending on what is ordered. On a recent visit the Manager surprised us with a new dessert, kesari halwa, (not sure of exact name). We have done take out for two birthday parties over the last few years, for lunch and dinner.“

“We have been here several times. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the service has been excellent. The food is delectable, tasty, and nicely presented with just the right balance of spices and heat. We just couldn't stop nibbling on the garlic naan bread and tamarind sauce. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the decor, and the pleasant atmosphere. It has become our favourite Indian Food restaurant in the City.“

“Service was wonderful, the hostess was kind and informative. The waitress we had was very attentive but not hovering. We sat outside and the seating was very nice. I feel like they could have stronger chairs, however. But they were fine. The food was delicious, the only downside was the egg benedict was overcooked. They ask how you want it and both myself and my friend said medium and they came out hard. Not a deal breaker but kinda look forward to a runnier texture. All in all, the flavors were great and everyone enjoyed their meals. Also got in last minute which was convenient for how busy they were inside and outside.“

“I as well as my family have been dining and having delivery from Bills new location in Calgary for many years. The food for dinner for 2–excellent— added an extra entree with the deep fried shrimp . It was so delicious and so good. We recommend them highly.“

“We had the crispy wonton starter and then a sticky rice dish and a noodle dish for main. There was good variety of veg with each and the mock beef, mock shrimp, and tofu added great texture. All that for around 60 Canadian dollars (including 20% tip)!“

“My wife and I had our wedding reception at The Lake House and it truly was beautiful! The scenery and the elegance of the restaurant itself are incomparable for a wedding venue. From there we go to the food. The food was absolutely delicious and all of of our guests praised the restaurant for the amazing options they were presented along with how absolutely tasty every single bite was. From the appetizers, to the main course, to the dessert and the late night snack, every single bite was spectacular. As we continue on the accommodating and excellence of service go beyond compare. Every step of the way the team at The Lake House catered to what our wants were and offered great advice and options to make sure we landed on the right decision. When spending so much money on everything to do with a wedding it can add up and you want to make sure the value is there and that you’re not over spending on one thing vs. another. They made sure that as costs added up for us elsewhere we really saw the value while still getting an elite, exceptional, beyond compare venue that just took care of nearly everything. My wife and I live busy lives and had a baby shortly after our wedding and have repeatedly told each other since the wedding we truly owe it to the restaurant to make sure we sit down, take time and praise how truly happy we were with our experience in a review so that everyone knows and we can hopefully give them some extra business and help others have as spectacular an experience as us. Since our time there many of our guests have shared how much they loved the experience there and said that they could not think of a better place to have a wedding venue. We do live out of town so we do t get to go back as often as we’d like but our anniversary is just around the corner and we’re very excited to go back to The Lake House to enjoy this day as well. Thank you everyone at The Lake House for sharing our moment with us and making it unforgettable! We truly appreciate you!“

“Traveling thru Calgary ... hotel recommended Moxies. We used Uber app for delivery. The deliver to address was wrong. We called the restaurant, and they were OUTSTANDING... they spent time to help with sincerity and true customer service. And the food was EXCELLENT ..... can't recommend this restaurant (or its staff) any higher.“

“I visited Shawarma Barlow with my wife and 3 small kids. The staff was absolutely amazing and the food was great!! I’m not sure if one of the staff was the owner but he did a wonderful job of taking care of us and my kids!!!“

“My husband and I were a bit disappointed this time because we were placed in the corner and did not receive the service we normally do. I had to ask a couple of times for service. It felt like we weren't noticed because of where we were placed. Just to be clear, the waitress was exceptional! She checked on us, was very upbeat and even put a sparkler in our desert as it was our anniversary.“

Everything from the burgers to the sides is cooked perfectly and full of flavour. I got a Mushroom Swiss Burger, and you can really taste the quality and care in every bite. “Every time I visit TD core , one of my must-do stops is New York Fries. The poutine is top-tier: rich, flavorful, and always consistent. The fries are crispy, the gravy is savory and satisfying, and the cheese curds are delicious.

“Avatara pizza is the best pizza I have ever had hands down. The fact that they dedicate gluten free is a huge bonus! Being able to order whatever you want without worry is a weight off your shoulder. The staff were super friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to order (so many good choices). The portions were very generous (we were able to take home leftovers even on the half pizza order)and pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely be returning!“
