Starbucks in Calgary

“Starbucks Quarry Park is one of my go-to spots for a coffee break or casual meet-up. The space is clean, cozy, and well laid out—perfect for relaxing or getting some work done.

The staff here are friendly and efficient, and they consistently get orders right, even during busy hours. The drinks are made just the way I like them, and the seasonal specials are always a treat!

Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee to go or settling in with a laptop, this location strikes a great balance of atmosphere, service, and quality. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“

“Had a Barista named Trissa that went above and beyond helping me and my husband find a drink that my son could have—he has a egg and treenut allergy. She suggested the Orange Cream Frappechino and my son absolutely loved it. Thanks for helping this mama of an allergy kiddo have a great end to the day!!“

“If you order drinks at this location, you never have to worry about getting something made incorrectly. They always make your drink exactly the way you want it.

I honestly think this Starbucks has the best customer service in Canada. I just wanted to recognize the team working around noon on Saturday, July 25.

I ordered my iced coffee, and my kids wanted cups of ice water. The staff were so kind and happily gave them water. A few moments later, my child accidentally knocked over the cup and spilled water everywhere. I felt so embarrassed and didn’t even want to ask for another cup.

One of the employees, I think their name was Ash, although I could be wrong, immediately comforted my child and kept saying, “It’s okay,” while bringing us another cup of water with a smile.

As a mom, that small act of kindness meant so much to me. They didn’t just clean up a spill. They made us feel completely at ease. The team here is genuinely caring, compassionate, and provides outstanding service.

Thank you for making our visit such a wonderful experience!“

“The strawberry acai refresher is my fave! I usually add 7 scoops of strawberries but I decided to go for the max amount because the strawberries are so good! I also got strawberry puree in it aswell which made it x10 better! I'm always getting it here“

“The staff is always friendly. It doesn’t matter if I’m ordering in person, mobile order or at the drive through they are polite, friendly and do what they can to personalize my experience and make me feel that they value my business.“

“Today I got greeted and served by Aaron who was incredibly warm and hospitable.

He made an effort to connect with me on a personal level, which I really appreciated talking to me about my Home country New Zealand and in the brief interaction I had with him. He made me feel warm and welcomed.

He embodies the old Starbucks style of Service making it feel more like your local coffee shop than a chain.

Keep doing what you’re doing, Aaron you are a fantastic human being!“

“I decided deleted review 1 ⭐ last time and up to 5 ⭐ today.

I come here every day, and most of the staff have always been very polite and friendly. They even remember my drink order by heart. They also know that I always need a Trenta cup, and they usually leave a note on my online order account.

Whenever there is a mistake with my drink, the staff are always kind and understanding. They simply remake it in the correct cup, and sometimes they even let me keep the drink they made by mistake. I really appreciate the great service I have always received here.

However, today I came in and there was a new staff member. She made my drink in a Venti cup instead of a Trenta. I politely asked if she could please change it to a Trenta cup. I explained that she only needed to pour everything into the Trenta cup and add extra ice, because I work 10 hours a day and need the larger cup so I can have more ice in my drink. I don’t need she make a new cup for me.

Instead of simply helping me, she responded in a very rude and disrespectful way and kept arguing with me that my online order was for a Venti. I showed her the note on my account. One of the staff members who already knows me even told her, “Monika always gets a Trenta cup. Just change it for her.”

What happened next really disappointed me. She took the drink and dumped it out with a very frustrated and disrespectful attitude. I was honestly shocked and very disappointed by the way the situation was handled.

I understand that mistakes happen, and I am always willing to explain my order. What I cannot understand is being treated disrespectfully over something that could have been resolved so easily.

I have been coming here every day and have always appreciated the friendly service from the other staff. I truly hope this was just a one-time experience, because today’s interaction was extremely disappointing.“

“This place is really close to my work and I’m there a lot. They are so nice and although the drink may not always be perfect (most times it is) they will quickly remake it. Sometimes when I come through the drive thru and say good morning they already know it’s me. Fun place!“

“I’m a Starbucks girly, so I don’t think I’ve ever given a negative review for a Starbucks but this Starbucks has some of the kindest, sweetest souls ever working there.

I stop by almost everyday before going to work or whatever it is I have planned for my day. I always hit the drive through and despite not giving my name they always know who I am just based on my order and write a detailed little message on my cup for me with my name!! Everyone there knows me and they always humour me when I’m being a chatty Cathy.

Was having a tough day yesterday and the note written on my cup so made me smile. I don’t know what you’re paying these people but it can’t be enough. They deserve the world.“

“I went on my birthday and got a free venti drink. The staff (Glenn and Aria) who served me were incredible!!! They allowed me a drink even though the app showed that I hadn’t had the app for over a month, which normally means you can’t get the free drink. They wished me a happy birthday and were amazing! Really recommend.“

“I visited this location on April 17th 2026 around 3:20 PM and had an amazing experience. I want to highlight one specific employee who went above and beyond to help me. She has a truly kind heart and was incredibly helpful. Such wonderful service is rare to find. She definitely deserves a bonus for her hard work and kindness. Highly recommend this place“

“I come in every day around 5:30 a.m., and I have to say, there is one person who has continuously caught my attention with her amazing customer service and hospitality. I’m not sure of her name every time I want to ask, it somehow slips my mind but she does wear a hijab.

She is always super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes my morning better. I will say that my experience at this Starbucks compared to other Starbucks locations has been completely different, and a big part of that is because of her. She truly stands out and deserves recognition for the way she treats customers.“

“Starbucks has always been more than just a coffee shop for me; it's a reliable sanctuary. Whether I'm popping in for my morning caffeine fix, looking for a quiet spot to work, or meeting up with a friend, I know exactly what I'm going to get: consistent quality and efficient service.
My personal go-to is the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, which is consistently perfect—the balance of sweetness, espresso, and creamy oat milk is spot on every time. But beyond the drinks, the atmosphere is what sets it apart. The stores are always clean, the Wi-Fi is dependable, and the signature ambient noise somehow manages to be both energetic and soothing.
The staff at my local branch deserve special mention. They are always friendly, fast, and patient, even during the peak morning rush. They handle complex customizations without skipping a beat and often have my name ready before I even reach the pickup counter. It's that dedication to the customer experience that keeps me coming back. For anyone seeking a familiar, high-quality, and comfortable coffee experience, Starbucks remains a top-tier choice.“

“Starbucks inside the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary, and clearly a little different from your typical location. It has a more upscale feel, with separate seating sections that almost feel like different rooms within the Starbucks. It suits the hotel environment very well.

The point-of-sale system here offers percentage-based tipping, which is different from the other Starbucks locations I’ve visited. Most standalone locations give you the typical one-, two- or five-dollar choices, while the Safeway in-store Starbucks don’t even offer a tip option. Just an interesting difference I noticed.

The food pricing at Starbucks always makes me shake my head a little, but people were certainly buying it here. It makes sense—you’re in a hotel, it’s convenient and it’s right there. Convenience has a price.

As for me, am I a hypocrite for buying a seven-dollar coffee? Maybe. It’s my treat and probably my only vice. But I draw the line at the food. At those prices, I simply expect better value than a prepackaged sandwich heated up for me.“

“The servers were very dignified, respectful and pleasant. The background music was just at the right volume so you could here it without dominating the atmosphere. I like to stay for a good while so atmosphere is important to me. Thanks 😃“

“I don’t visit this Starbucks that often, but when I went in today, I was conquered by barista Kristina

She helped me use my points profitably, and I really liked the service

After such people, I want to come in more often“

“Me and my brother wanted to make a quick stop just to pick up some drinks after shopping for groceries. The staff was really sweet and they made small talk with me and my brother. It was just a regular day for us but the staff went out of their way to brighten our day; they’re incredibly sweet and polite! Special shout out to this location specifically because I always notice how they go out of their way just to create a safe and welcoming environment for their customers. I can confidently say that most of their customers base will agree with me that this staff is awesome! Not to mention their attention to detail and quality in every drink. If I ever had a problem with my drink they immediately handle the situation with swiftness and professionalism. Much love from me and my family!“

“This is one of my favorite Starbucks stores which unfortunately don't get a chance to go to often. If you're looking for a Starbucks with good vibes, staff, and service, for sure this is one of them. If you're visiting this store in the summer or spring, I would recommend the tables and seats outside.“

“This Starbucks at Bankers Hall is by far the best Starbucks I’ve been to. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Even during the busiest times of the day, they work incredibly fast and get orders out quickly without sacrificing quality or customer service.

I wonder if some of the negative reviews may actually be referring to the Starbucks in The Core, since the two locations are so close together. I can only speak from my own experience at the Bankers Hall location. Even though The Core store is actually closer to me, I choose to come here because the service is faster and the staff are much friendlier. Every visit has been a great experience. Highly recommended!“

“Just another stop at Starbucks across from Canada Olympic Park. Just another couple of coffees for me and my lovely.

Friendly service, as usual. Prices on the food, still up there.

Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing wrong either. In, out, and on with the day. Thank you, Starbucks“

“I am so pleased that there is a starbucks within a short walk from my house! Consistent and always great service, what can you say about Starbucks other than it is a tremendous place to meet friends and enjoy the outdoor patio in this vibrant neighbourhood. Always see people I know there so it's really fun to grab a coffee there. I'm just a dark roast black coffee guy but to me this is the best coffee!“

“This is my go-to in the downtown area... I do feel like lately things are slipping a bit but the staff are super friendly and always very helpful. I think that these mistakes that I am experiencing have more to do with how slammed this location gets. Still recommend. I suggest ordering on the app as the foot traffic here can be intense and unpredictable.“

“Of the Starbucks locations I have been to, this is a great one. The staff are kind and friendly and I have never had an issue with my order being incorrect. They are generally quite quick and often write cute notes on my drink. Thank you Tuscany Starbucks staff!“

“I had the best experience here I’ve ever had. A worker named Jana was so kind! We talked about the movie Elvis, and how good Austin Butler’s performance was. She made my drink taste absolutely delicious, and put a smile on my face. She deserves a raise without a doubt!!!“

“There is this one older gentleman that has been working there since summer of 2024 that always makes the perfect, from my perspective, Pumpkin Spice Latte. No matter where I am at in the world getting one, I wish this man was making it for me. I visited many times in 2024 and 2025 and if I end up in Calgary in 2026, I will visit again just for the way he makes it.“

“I had a fantastic experience at the Starbucks in Chinook! The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making my visit quick and enjoyable. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a coffee or relaxing for a bit. My drink was made perfectly, just the way I like it, and the selection of baked goods was fresh and delicious. Whether you’re in a hurry or looking to unwind, this Starbucks is a great spot. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!“

“My daughter and I went through the drive-thru on Sunday, September 6th around 10:30 AM, and I have to say, the gentleman working the window gave us by far the best service I’ve ever received at any drive-thru!
Instead of the usual rushed experience where you're handed a machine and handed your food without a word, he genuinely took the time to connect. He warmly asked how we were doing, verified our exact order, confirmed payment smoothly, and wished us a wonderful day with real sincerity. It was clear he actually enjoys his job and cares about the customer experience. It completely made my entire day! I wish I had caught his name because he truly deserves a raise and recognition for his fantastic attitude.“

“Very friendly staff at this location, especially Zena.
She is alwasy welcoming customers with bright smile. Her customer service was the best that I have ever had.
Last time when I had hard time on transfering all my accts balance to one gift card, not only she was helping me out without hesitation, also she took her extra time to sort issues out and advise me how to prevent the potential issue in the future.“

“I cannot rave enough about this location oh my god !!
I come here almost every weekday morning to pick up coffee for my managers and myself and the staff are always so nice and sweet and I think in the near 3 months of coming I've only had an issue once and I'm usually picking up like 3 to 7 drinks during the morning rush so it is truly impressive 😭“

“One of the best Starbucks locations in Calgary! Clean, great service, lots of seating. Thank you for the Pride poster! Made me and my kids feel welcome. UPDATE loving the interior redo here! Looks amazing and makes this my favourite Starbucks by far!“

“Emilie and Sam both deserve a raise. Sweetest coolest souls to ever walk this earth. I miss coming here now that I live so far away. This was my go to spot literally because of these two humans. They are why I’m a faithful Starbucks customer“

“Now this is a great Starbucks location but be prepared for it to be very busy being directly across from a college.Plenty of room to sit with a huge store seating area. The place was clean and the customer service was perfect on this visit. Free newspapers available to read on this visit which I assume is a regular Starbucks thing.“

“Starbucks is Starbucks. Overpriced beverages and Overpriced treats. But we do it regardless. I definitely cut way down on my Starbucks addiction. Simply can't afford it anymore. And now they're prompting you for a tip when you pay by debit. Which I don't care for now which is why I go less. Starbucks is already Overpriced...now you want a tip? Shouldn't be called Starbucks...should very called 7 bucks. Because you won't leave without spending and less than 7 bucks. No tip for you!!!!!“

“Love ❤️me some Starbucks! Just went in for a lemonade as it was still warm out. But I was happy to see their fall, pumpkin flavors were back! I ended up getting an Iced Pumpkin Chai latte,it was delicious! 😋 Even though it was busy, the staff were quick and helpful. Great location! 🍁🍂❤️“

“Really as uber driver I would like to thank all the stuff work in the morning I pick up order this morning and in my way to drop off the order to the customer the The drinks fell into the delivery bag and I tell the customer I will pay a drink for you and drop it to here when I back to the store the lady her name marina she help me and she make the drink for me and she didn’t let me pay for it because I told her about what happen really the stuff there doing great job with big smile thank you guys to be honest the customer service should like that thank u thank u 👍👍👍👍👍“

“Tried the Chai Latte and Hot Chocolate with whipped cream, and both were delicious! ☕🍫 The chai latte was warm, comforting, and nicely spiced, while the hot chocolate was rich and creamy with the whipped cream on top. A perfect treat for a cozy coffee break. Great service and a pleasant experience overall!“

“Easily the best Starbucks in the city! The staff here are always exceptionally polite and welcoming. It’s so disheartening to see some rude and discriminatory people in our community treat them poorly sometimes, but the crew here remains unfailingly professional and kind.“

“Hi, I got a chai latte from Starbucks at gate C. Today around 7:30 pm Girl, maybe her name is Shagan. She gave me an amazing drink and helped me to decide as i wanted an Indian style hot drink . I really liked the drink.

Thanks.“

“I would like to specifically address the lady who I think is the manager of this starbucks and is the one who trains everyone. She is amazing. I go there every morning and she is always a delight. She makes my order to perfection every single time. I have stopped going to the Starbucks by my house and now go to this Starbucks specifically because of her amazing customer service.“

“The staff here is very kind, they greeted me right when I walked inside the door. The gentleman at the front that took my order this morning was very polite and patient and the coffee was amazing here as well! Amazing customer service. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you’re in the area!“

“I don't understand why Ellie is receiving so much criticism. She's not a robot. What was she supposed to say while someone was yelling at her?
I was there and witnessed the entire situation, and honestly, I still don't know what Ellie did wrong. One of other Barista didn't give her a chance to explain, and the customer who came in for the refund kept shouting at her.
Please don't tear down someone who works hard every day because of one unpleasant moment. She deserves the same patience and respect as anyone else.“

“In my trip to this Starbucks, I was absolutely impressed by one employee, her name was Henah. She was absolutely incredible and displayed commitment and hard work to her company. The dedication I saw was absolutely incredible. I really hope that this amazing employee gets a good opportunities in the future with her company..“

“The Location is excellent and the customer service is excellent... The food is delicious and the drinks are made perfect. It's a wonderful place to visit with your family, friends or just to grab a great cup of coffee. Stop by whether you are local or visiting, you will be Glad you Did!!! 🥰👍👍“

Her friendly attitude, positive energy, and welcoming smile create a comfortable atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Whether it's during a busy morning rush or a quieter afternoon, Erin remains calm, efficient, and professional. Her dedication to quality, speed, and exceptional service makes her a valuable member of the Starbucks team and leaves a lasting impression on everyone she serves.“

“I have ordered drinks here a couple of times after shopping at Market Mall. The ladies have always been friendly and service great. Never as busy as the one in the mall. Jennifer was lovely and went over and above she even poured my milk on the side for my iced coffee. It’s the little things.?“

“I am a regular customer at international Starbucks. Huge shout out to Dennis, Amin Sethi, Imelda and Sheryl for their outstanding service and positive attitude. I just loved the way how they greet everyone with smile and always made sure that my order was correct, no matter how busy they are.I LOVE going back again and again because of their positivity and great customer service.“

“I had a really great experience at this location. I asked for the summer refresher that had to be customized a little with peach flavour as I usually order and didn't know Vish was still training. He was super patient and made the drink much better than usual, Such a positive attitude towards work. Keep it up Vish. wish you all the best!!!“

“Absolutely lovely staff, my friend is allergic to lactose and the barista Atlas offered to sanitize the jug for her and made certain none of the things he used have lactose in them. He double checked with me before changing anything in the recipe. An amazing experience all together. The employees all are very welcoming and great at their job. Thanks again Atlas!“

“I got served by Hannah and she was so nice at the drive thru my drink tasted weird but I felt bad asking for a new one so I was about to drive away but she noticed the expression on my face and made me a new one which was great btw! She also gave me whipcream cups for all four of my dogs! Thank you you’re the best!“
