“This is my third time here, and it never disappoints! I absolutely love their Teriyaki Beef Ramen, and the portion size is incredibly generous. The service is always excellent, and the staff make sure we’re enjoying our food throughout the meal. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to! My workplace is also close here so it’s a plus ❤“

“So good! In a city full of pizza and Italian restaurants it’s nice to have something different, this is Mediterranean at its best everything was full of flavour, faves were the halloumi, peach salad, cucumber dip and pita. Can’t wait to go back and try more .“

“The best culinary experience you could possibly get for the price. The food was prepared with the upmost attention to detail. We did the Yakitori Omakase (15 course meal with drink pairings). The specially reserved seats in front of the kitchen offer a show, not just the meal. Our server Adam provided an 11/10 service, explaining the intricacies of each dish and how the each drink was tied into the given course. They also offer you the option to purchase 3 ounces of the 45 day beeswax aged A5 Waygu (which we also purchased and highly recommend to take in the full experience). You will not leave hungry, or unsatisfied in any way. If you’re in Calgary, you have to visit Shokunin.“

“Came here to partake in the feast on 4th and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Braised beef with the buttery mash and some prawns for $10. Cannot go wrong with that price whatsoever. Our server on the other hand..... I will not throw you under the bus but I will advise you to maybe carry some Listerine breath strips in your apron, because the smell of marijuana wafting off your breath when you were bending over talking to us was appalling. 3 of us smelt it. You smelt like a bowl of roaches. Please do better with your oral hygiene if youre puffing between tables.“

Its not always easy catering to travel ball groups, but she made us feel so welcome and it was a pleasure dealing with her. Will definitely be back! Food was great“

On our most recent visit, management went above and beyond after a previous double charge was made in error. Amanda, in particular, was incredibly friendly and professional, and our server was excellent throughout.
