“Last week my wife and I went through the drive-thru at this Starbucks and honestly had one of the best experiences we’ve ever had — and that was all thanks to Rita. From the moment we spoke to her, she was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional in a very natural way that instantly made our day better.

They didn’t have the Cran Merry drink we were hoping for, but Rita took the time to suggest and make an alternative for us — and somehow she absolutely nailed it. The drink gave us the exact same vibe we were craving, and you could really tell she cared about getting it right, not just rushing us through.

Because of the service we received here, we’ve decided that even though we live in St. Albert, this will be our go-to Starbucks from now on. The level of service we got here is something we honestly haven’t experienced at other Starbucks locations in St. Albert.

“Horrible location(inside of a Safeway in a mall) so the parking was terrible and it was convoluted getting to the counter(unfamiliar location) but the drinks were great and there was lots of selection for the food items that we were interested in (cake pops for the 4 yo...lol) service was good. Quality staff who really know how to make a proper coffee. A huge upgrade from the clueless college kids who just press a button on the dispenser at far too many coffee joints nowadays. These guys will do it right and with great presentation. Great location and nice interior. Roomy counter but limited seating. In the Summer they have a small outdoor seating area. The refills are free on your coffee while you're on site, which I had no clue about until this place. They went out of their way to tell us this which was above and beyond. It's good strong coffee so we don't take advantage of it often but it's sure a nice deal! Little desserts available as well. My only complaint would be the small size and lack of seating. We've had to physically stand to drink our coffee more than once. Anyway for what it's worth it's my fave Starbucks location in town. Keep up the good work!“

What really stood out during my most recent visit was one of the baristas, I think her name was Sophie. She was calling out customers’ names while making the drinks, not just when handing them off. “Great drive thru! Order was great and so friendly on a Saturday morning 8:00! But Im a little disappointed when we went for washroom with my daughter ask for a code. One lady I asked twice for the code and she got annoyed. Working in a morning is not for her or maybe she is not in the mood or what. I think she needs a zip of a coffee for her mood in the morning. A little while back I came by and ordered my drink, I paid and walked over to Griffins Landing to grab some food and COMPLETELY forgot about my drink. 3 hours later after studying and finishing class I realized what I had done. I went back and explained the situation and they happily re-made my drink for me even though it was my fault.
