“The customer service at this location is amazing. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. I was talked into drinking something I have never had before and that never happens. They even offered to replace the drink if I didn't like the first sip. I was not disappointed with the drink either. I will be returning to this location even though it's out of my way.“

“Surprisingly, for a Starbucks, this one has been my best experience so far. Their drinks have always been consistent, and I have never had to ask for extra pumps of things. Their service has always been friendly. The few times I had a poor experience with wait time, it was just because they were busy, so you really cannot blame them. This has become my go to location in the north end.“

“Oct 31/24 Came here & ordered a grande cappuccino with an apple croissant which was made great & the warmed up croissant made it even better. Tegan was great & so was the overall service, can’t wait to come back even when I need to charge up my scooter when in the area

The Starbucks experience is sometimes a hit and miss, Kris is great but she needs to pay attention to what the customer is adding to their drink order, as the service gets better so will my review“

“Best Starbucks experience in this college plaza building. I would get a drink on my way to/from my appointment this few weeks. The staff here is friendly, Jessie and Martin are helpful even though the store is busy around noon time they r always smiling.“

“The staff at this location are always so friendly! I came in the other morning and there was a delay with their espresso machine, so they gave me my drink sticker and asked me to come back another time to have my drink remade (they also gave me a coffee so I didn’t leave empty handed). I appreciated that they went above and beyond even when a maintenance issue isn’t their fault at all! I will continue to come back here.“

“Where do I start!!? JASPER GATES STARBUCKS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST STARBUCKS PERIOD!! A good barista is hard to find and this location has been the most consistent with making my particular drink.They are always friendly and have made a point to get to know my name which makes you feel good (it just does!) I have left a nice tip with one of their employees that always makes my drink perfect,he always has a smile on his face and always greets me by name as soon as I walk in for my mobile order!! “Tammy at Riverbend is the best Barista I've had at any Starbucks in a Safeway! Well, Marica at Meadowlark is awesome too ? Tammy always makes my white chocolate mocha bang on if not better than usual! We always have a chat whenever I'm in and she's always so friendly and kind. Even if someone else is taking my order she always starts making my drink before it's run through. She just knows! Wish she worked at a location in the west end. It's worth the drive to get your drinks made the right way EVERYTIME by her. CONSISTENCY is impeccable. 6 stars for Tammy!“

“I came for shopping at the Safeway and I said to myself I didn't my morning coffee so I ordered a grande coffee and starbucks was closing in 15 minutes. But Shi Wei served me with a lot of respect and care and did an outstanding service, she took her time to make me a pour over(drip coffee) I was more than satisfied with Shi Wei. She is awesome I give Shi Wei more than 5 stars. I m yes coming back for this location.“

“The taste of drinks are real depending on who does make.. id been enjoyed so far but matcha cream coldbrew i ordered taste aweful tonight.
Cream already melting down and mixed with coldbrew when I pick it up(picked up within 5 mins), asked extra ice but ice barely left, and taste nothing..“

“Had a bagel with cream cheese to acompany my frappuccino, the resturaunt is spacious, the could fit more tables in there but the opted for space instead.

“The lady behind the till was very nice. It was a couple minutes before close and I asked if she was taking any more orders. She said of course and took my drink down. She didn't look upset no sass no huffing. It was very nice compared to some situations I've had where I've been told off for trying right before close.I felt kinda bad, so I left her a nice tip. “I’m travelling for business and was in Starbucks bright and early. Caleb had a kind, pleasant vibe that instantly put me at ease, it made me feel well taken care of, as if all my worries disappear that moment I enjoyed my coffee at Starbucks. I noticed his interaction with other customers was the same, he was greeting people by name. He expressed thanks to one of his co workers in a positive manner.
The music that was playing is an artist Anavitoria, it created a lovely atmosphere. My coffee was perfect!“

“I like to have a large latte here for my caffeine intake. The first time I tried the food. I had a chicken and bacon sandwich heated. Would have liked lettuce, tomatoes, plus little mayo. I do not know if this is even an option, I missed out.“

“Super busy on the Sunday afternoon I visited this fall, but the staff were doing really well to keep up with orders and get everyone's drinks in a reasonable amount of time. There is a good amount of seating for chatting or working and this location also has a drive through, which gets a lot of traffic.“

“Went through the drive-thru. Drinks were ready quickly and the barista at the window helped me figure out how to use my mobile coupon for 50% off a drink. Drinks were fresh, hot, and delicious.

“this is a small kiosk inside the Safeway. it’s got less of a selection than a freestanding location would carry but great for the basics and lots of mugs and such to purchase as well.it’s run under the grocery store and staffed by their team so they do not accept tips, nor do they have the ability to use the app for points, etc. however, if you have a Starbucks gift card/prepaid card saved in your wallet app you can use that for payment.staff have always been super friendly and there’s never been much of a line or wait when I’ve been in.you grab some java and get your groceries sorted in a jiffy ☕️☺️?“

Angelica is also an amazing barista that handled pressure in the drive thru well a day ago when they were short staffed. She had a trainee in the drive thru who made many mistakes but Angelica was quick to make my order right and handled herself in a calm, kind and professional manner ??
I have to strongly disagree with the negative reviews posted and think those people must be entitled, rude customers/ people to begin with. Service workers deal with a lot and being kind goes a long way. I Highly recommend this Starbucks. They have hundreds of regulars that have been going for years and love it!“

“I've been a frequent flyer at starbucks for many moons now. Visiting dozens if not hundreds of locations all over the world.
This location is my favorite however. Even though there are 2 other locations closer to my house and they don't even have nitro I still choose to go the extra distance to attend this location.
Everyone at this location is so friendly and Full of smiles. I absolutely adore the quick chats and the positive energy they pass on to make my days great!“

“I just ordered and it’s already 9:45 in the evening—just 15 minutes before they close.

All of the baristas were nice and accommodating. They made sure to get my orders right. I was craving for a pastry so I asked if it was still possible to order a Double Chocolate Brownie since the box was already cleared out. I told them that it’s okay for me not to order it anymore since I don’t wanna make a fuss but they insisted. ♥️

“Our drinks were amazing, the service was fast and friendly. My only problem with this site was the volume of the music, not even the genre. It was too loud to be able to have a decent conversation, the regular way friends used to do, not by text.

Parking: Parking is hell, but if you're in the area shopping or for a medical appointment or both, it's well worth the effort to stop for their Chai Latte. For my money, or rather my friend's, it's the best I've had in years. Perfect foam, flavour, an absolute delight.“

“One of the busier Starbucks locations I visit, and it’s clear why. This West Edmonton Starbucks is always clean, well-staffed, and run by a highly professional and efficient team. The drive-through is busy but moves quickly thanks to their great organization. There is a supervisor present, but they are rarely needed because the staff handles everything so smoothly. A well-run store that truly serves the surrounding neighborhood well.“

“To the people that were complaining about the drive thru, how about you go inside and work as a barista? Christmas Eve, 1 person taking orders, another taking drive thru and only 2 workers making coffee. These baristas are making nonstop coffees for 6 hours straight at least. If you’re complaining when people are working as hard as they can, then go make your own coffee.“

“Good Starbucks. Great location. Unfortunately they have almost no seating and it can be difficult to get a drink or a seat when they are super busy in the middle of the day. This location doesn't give stars if you're a Starbucks member like most locations on campus which can be a downside.“

“I had a carrot muffin and a tea. I find it hard to believe that I could not have get a plain cup of tea they had all flavoured teas I asked for just plain black tea. The girl behind the counter was having a difficult time understanding what I was asking. So I just said yes to the next tea she pointed to. I ask what ever happened to just plain black tea or coffee these days

Parking: I’m not sure about the parking. I did not look around at the parking. I was walking with a wheelchair. There was however, plenty of parking there and handicap parking available.
