“I went for dinner here with another who's vegetarian/vegan. I had the vegan pho sate and a green onion cake.

The owner gave us a plate of their home made kimchi on the house. It was delicious!

They closed at 8:00 and we continued to site there and talk/eat until 10:00. The owner didn't mind because they were doing kitchen prep for the next day. He even came out and continued to fill our waters.

10/10 food and service. Definitely going back.“

“IMAGINE THIS. Luuuuunch break. Your friend's family friend suggest this place and we go for lunch. To be completely honest, the pho was mid (mid being used in the sense before the way it is currently used). It's probably the low to middle of the pack of pho in Edmonton but not to say it's bad. Overall, it was ok and maybe we just went on a bad day.“

“I stopped into PhoEver Banh Mi for lunch one day. It was a weekday afternoon, and I'm on a banh mi kick right now.
I have to say I personally prefer my Pho or banh mi restaurants to be just a Pho place or just a Banh Mi place. I don't like it when they don't specialize in one or have a varied menu.
PhoEver, though, surprised me with the quality of their Banh Mi. It was Fantastic.
The guy working behind the counter was super friendly and gave great customer service.
The restaurant is very nice on the inside and has lots of seating. I'm not a fan of a couple places I've been lately that don't have any seating or limited amounts.
A banh mi sandwich needs to be eaten right away while the bread is still delicately warm and the veggies still cold. Taking a banh mi home and eating it 10 minutes later is a disservice to the sandwich.
So I appreciate that the restaurant has a fair amount of seating.
The sandwich was delicious, they also had a proper amount of Jalapeños on it, so each bite had kick to it, very delicious with their meat and veggies.
My only issue with this place is the parking lot was jam packed as the other businesses had filled it. It's not something they can help.

Vegetarian options: I don't think you can enjoy a banh mi without meat, but you can enjoy Pho without meat.

Dietary restrictions: Bread and noodles gotta be eaten.

Parking: Parking lot was completely full had to drive around and double back to find a spot.

Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids, banh mi are delicious.

“this place has the yummiest food ever, you can tell it was made with care, the server is a sweet man who always made me feel welcomed when i would come here as a youth very hungry after practice. 10 years later they still mean so much to me and i see them every time i visit Edmonton. you cant buy atmosphere you just have to have it, and this place has the most relaxing and calm one I've ever experienced. the jasmine tea is always the perfect temp, the food tastes better than anything i can find in BC and i still wish i could walk down the street and grab some of his ice cream chocolate pears but i cant these days. i miss this place a lot im so happy to see they survived covid. 10/10 i have taken all my family here and even my nana ( who hates new food) loved this place. bring your family, sit and eat good food, this place has such a glow from the inside and charm. you cant buy that anywhere else. “Just your shop to grab a Vietnamese sub to go. Delicious and the flavor did not disappoint for beef satay with a little chilli. Menu has English and staff understands basic English. I think this is one of the best Vietnamese subs I have tried in the city. It is a cash only shop so make sure you bring cash.“

Last time I got spicy chicken Pho it was sooo good and delicious and filling I still had decent leftovers for the next day because it’s a generous portion :D this time I got crispy pork spring rolls and wonton soup and they’re bussin. 🤙🏼 highly recommend bringing your bros here for some top notch hunger satisfaction.“

“Yummy! My sandwich was so delicious, again. The bread was crispy as were the vegetables. The meat was fresh and there was just the right amount of pate. I have had at least five banh mi cold cut sandwiches in the past month or so. The staff are very friendly and quick to take your order and get you a glass of water if you are ordering to go. “This is my first time at this location. I wasn't aware they have been opened over three years here. The place is very clean and organized. We were politely greeted once we entered. The staff and owner are very pleasant, making sure we order the correct items. The soup is very hot and tasty. Good portion sizes as well. Very nice place. Will definitely be returning.

“This place is fantastic! I’ve been ordering my Chinese Vietnamese from them for years and they serve consistently delicious food. Typically, I ordered the beef chow mein, a chicken dish like curry chicken, a veggie dish and some green onion cake. I don’t order anything spicy… Super fast service even if they tell you it’s going to be a long time it always arrives much sooner. I’ve never seen the inside of this place so I can’t really rate the atmosphere but I ate in a lot of Asian restaurants and this one is in my top 10 faves for sure. I can easily make 3 meals out of half of this, sometimes 4.“

“Came in for Chinatown dining week. Had the pho with tapioca dumplings and spring rolls plus an iced coffee.

The broth was very light but beefy. The beef rare and really tender. The dumplings and spring rolls were my favourite though.“

“I’ve had the opportunity to visit this place multiple times for lunch. I’m into the soups. But I have seen the and tried other options. First off consistent great broth and great presentation. They hold the recipe for a great soup. There vermicelli bowls are also top notch as well. My Favourite is what they do with the beef balls. I will continue to come here But I would love to see you guys do an upgrade. You have what it takes to have a more updated trendy establishment you need to get your soups more exposed and out there. I’ll still come regardless though. I would consider this an Edmonton gem and worth a shot. Pls consider the limited staff when busy. It’s and older environment but is clean and welcoming.

“A very decent Vietnamese place south side - probably the best I’ve tried. I always go for the beef vermicelli bowls and am looking for an amazing grilled meat which in my experience is hard to find. This place does it quite well. Only one other place in Edmonton does this better (Phobulous).

Downside is their fish sauce is seriously lacking flavour and they give such a small amount. The sizzling meat & veggie plate my partner had was also quite tasty.“

“Had lunch with a friend, the food is delicious and of good portions. I had the shrimp rolls (4) and the chicken vermicelli bowl looked good as well nice big bowls and it was towering above the rim. Kind of a small dining area but not bad if you miss the lunch rush. They have take out. Was priced ok.“

“Went for an early dinner at around 5 pm on a Sunday evening as our usual restaurant was closed. Only two other customers were present at that time. We were greeted and immediately seated. A complementary pot of green tea was brought to our table. We ordered #59 on the menu - Tom yum chicken Pho. The large bowl of pho had plenty of noodles and chicken. The broth however only had a very small amount of tom yum flavor. We had to put some chili oil to make it spicy. On the side they served the usual bean sprouts, fresh basil leaves and some lemon.
No napkins were provided and had to request twice for the napkins. Overall a 3 out of 5 for the pho. So far the best pho in Edmonton is at Than Than Noodle House.“
