“Flew in from Houston and so glad I stopped here. Had the fried green tomato BLT with a cold PBR draft and it was amazing! If you’re in Birmingham you gotta give this place a try, 100 out of 100 ⭐️’s!!“

“Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“

“I ordered my food out on a night there was a lot of sports teams in town and had to wait a little extra for it to be made(no fault of the restaurant as 15 orders cane in at the same time) but it was worth the wait! The loaded cajun ranch fries were the best I've had! I ordered a spinach salad as well and it was absolutely delicious. When I called the person was nice and willing to let me know what's going on.

“This was my 1st time at any Dreamland. It did not live up to the hype I had heard. I was told how meaty and juicy the ribs are, even at this location. These were not bad, but they were a bit skimpy. While they were not dry, neither were they juicy and they were just short of being tough.
Our server wasn't bad, but he was very absent and not attentive.“

“Wings and okra are delicious Just need to clean their front door it’s covered in dirt and gunk It’s filthy If customers can see that I wonder what is in the kitchen..bathroom you can smell it entering the door and today I saw a huge roach crawling around inside. I probably won’t be eating here again.“

“We have been dining at Longhorn for many years. Tonight our experience wasn't as smooth as expected. My server, Isaac was great. Very personable, knowledgeable and tended to us perfectly. First off my husband ordered a drink from the bar. He waited at least 15 minutes to get it. We watched the bartender waiting on several tables for the entire time we were watching completely ignoring our servers request to fill his drink orders. We were not the only ones waiting. Shame on her. Then upon questioning our server about the bartenders here we learned something I found very frustrating and unfair. You see, most of the bar tenders that work at this location behave the same as this lady did tonight. Does not get in any hurry to fill drink orders from the servers. We were informed that Longhorns servers, by the restaurants policy, takes 15% of every servers earned tips to share with the bartender and the host. Mind you, not every table orders drinks from the bar and yet the servers have to pay them. These bartenders do not earn that. Especially when they take their sweet slow time with making drink orders for the servers. I also learned they only pay host $5 an hour. How stingy of the restaurant to do that to their employees. They need to pay hosts minimum wage and stop expecting the servers to pay them out of their hard earned money. After all, servers are only paid about $2.13 hr from the restaurant. Bartenders should not get any pay from the servers pockets unless the servers want to do so. But these servers have no choice. They are forced to pay.
My next complaint was the ribeye my husband ordered as medium. It came to the table well done. So thin a piece, very tough to cut through. Isaac took it back to the kitchen with our request to cook it medium rare in hopes it would make it back out at least medium. It turned out to be correctly cooked at medium rare this time, but still a thin tough steak. Not worth $26.79.
Now that we know how Longhorn takes money from the servers to help them pay other staff we will no longer put tips on credit cards. We will be giving our tips in cash.“

“Been visiting here for a while food is good just wish the Good Ole days of eating out return! Chicken been divided and the fish joined the division game too! I wanted a WHOLE PIECE of fish not chopped up pieces claiming its a 10pc when it's Actually 3 pieces of fish cut up!
