“Really enjoyed our time here! Katie took great care of us! She was helpful and patient and informative. It was my first time there and I thought the food was excellent! I especially loved the smoked wings! However, I was blown away by the banana pudding! Never had banana puddling like that before and now I'm hooked. I gotta figure out if they ship that pudding out of state 🤣 that might be the best I've ever had! Next time I come back to Birmingham, I'll definitely make time to stop by! A+++++ to management and staff!“

“I love the deviled eggs and the muffins! Of course the BBQ is delicious but the Pies are a must try! The staff is very prompt and courteous. I use curbside to pick up dinner and it’s convenient especially with all the traffic on 280.“

“Visit more for breakfast than lunch. Absolutely the best sausage egg & cheese sandwich in BHM. Note it states sandwich. Served with a hamburger bun. Will have a wait when you order whether you choose to wait inside or take drive-in. Either way you will not be disappointed.“

“Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“

Can’t complain about service. And Im glad I waited, it was worth it. Even though I forgot my sons corn on cob he forgave me.“

“I hadn't been here in years because of a custimer service issue. We tried it again and the food was great. The ribs were cooked and flavored to perfection, so was the chicken. The sides were tasty as well. There are several big name rib joints here in Birmingham that i find average at best. In My opinion they have the best Barbeque in Town!“

“Top Shelf (((((Insider)))))?? !!!!!!!! KJ never disappoints. If it's not right then he will get it right!. Been going to see him for a few years now I think. KJ and Travis are really the only 2 Black Own Food Businesses that keep me coming back. It's not just about the food it's also about the spirit of the cooks and customer service!!!! I'm tryna diet but I'm craving that shrimp and okra right now oh and catfish and ribs and baked beans!!!!!! ?? I will truly order it all. KJ gone head and do a menu item and call it A Little Bit for this and that for $25 or $30 shrimp, chicken and fish or shrimp, chicken and a few bones ? I come in there being greedy sometimes. It be hard to choose that why I take forever ?.“

“There was some awful smell outside of the building front door that could not be explained... The waiter in the bar area was our server for this visit and he was spot on... He kept our glasses full and readily available for anything we needed... We did not care for the red BBQ sauce but their white sauce was very good, being mayonnaise based... Recommend everyone try at least once!“

“The food was great but I was sat next to staff who were ready to get off and had inappropriate conversations next to the table I was at with my family that we could hear. Also the waiter kept forgetting to bring things that were asked for back like to go boxes, to go drinks, the wrong drinks, condiments, things like that. I will come back because the food was delicious but next time I will ask to be moved to a different location.“

“Been visiting here for a while food is good just wish the Good Ole days of eating out return! Chicken been divided and the fish joined the division game too! I wanted a WHOLE PIECE of fish not chopped up pieces claiming its a 10pc when it's Actually 3 pieces of fish cut up! Spots are wondering why people eat at home more now.THIS IS EXACTLY WHY, YOU'RE CHARGING MORE FOR LESS! thanks for the 13yrs of service I've personally supported to your, food is great but Do better by your people and give us what we're being charged for please and thank you! I did speak on at the location but the attitude was a bit much when I've already paid you for it. Why she mad when it's my money and I got shorted on my food is beyond me but carry on Birmingham AL!“

“Flew in from Houston and so glad I stopped here. Had the fried green tomato BLT with a cold PBR draft and it was amazing! If you’re in Birmingham you gotta give this place a try, 100 out of 100 ⭐️’s!!“
